I made a desk lamp with a wooden base and a glass lampshade. It has a low voltage LED bulb. Sorry you cannot see it on the picture, but Sugru moulded perfectly to fix the ceramic bulb base to the inside of the glass shade, and also it moulded perfectly to fill in around the bottom of the lamp where I drilled holes in the wood to allow the low voltage cable to come in. Sugru is clean and easy to mould around things, and it has a slow enough setting time to let you get a good result. It is not sticky on your fingers and does not drip in the way that silicone sealant would. Then over a day or so, it sets hard, and gives good fixation.I do not know anything else that would work in this situationOne potential problem it does have a limited shelf life (a year or so).
