Other stick type glues are not nearly as good. It sticks well, doesn't make even thin tissue paper wrinkle and remains water soluble even after drying which some other glue sticks don't.I use it on fine tissue dressmaking patterns to repair tears or when I'm adding extra pieces when size-grading or altering a design as it can be ironed dry and flat without burning, melting or ruining the iron. I also use it to temporarily stick slippery fabric pieces like velvet and satin together so they don't shift and slide when going through the sewing machine as it peels apart easily (on fabric) once the seam is stitched and washes out completely in the washing machine once the garment is finished.This

I ordered these Pritt sticks, as I'm an art student and any other brand is utter rubbish. I ordered 3 packs, as I go through them so quickly (I keep all mine in a box on my desk so they are within easy reach.)My parcel arrived when it should and packaged well. However, after coming to undo the first box, about a week after receiving them. I now realise that one of the packs was only filled with four Pritt sticks instead of five. They are packaged four across, and then one lying on top of them (as I originally thought all packs were four, and that I hadn't been sent a fifth of my purchase) I'll include a Image.For the sake of one glue stick I won't be sending them back or causing a huge fuss.

Pritt Stick what can I say about it that the vast majority of the UK population already knows??I have been using Pritt Stick for literally more than 30 years and still remember vividly being handed one of these at 5 years old and being able to twist the bottom and glue things into a scrap book with no mess or fuss.... I have always hated sticky hands so this really was a revolution for me!As I say there has always been a stick or two of Pritt Stick around my home ever since. Use it at least once a week for a whole host of purposes were a easy to remove but also sticks well light duty adhesive is required.Also if the stick dries out due to age or someone leaving the cap off just add a little bit of water (like a few drops)

In common with many of the reviewers here, I have tried other brands of glue stick, but I find Pritt works the best of all.I have also recently tried liquid glue - but the technology clearly has not changed since I was at school in 60s, the clear liquid glues soak the paper that you are trying to glue, and take a considerable time to dry..Pritt spreads smoothly and thinly, without lumps I find (some alternative stick-glues spread in a lumpy fashion)The size and price for a box of 5 is excellent value.NOTE: I did receive 5 in my box, but some reviewers only received 4 in a box. If that happens simply email the seller via the Amazon message system, Advise them and ask for your 5th tube.

I have used many different types and brands of glue in my career as a nanny and children's worker with the Methodist Church, and I have to say that when it comes to something I want to last I always go for the Pritt Stick Glue! It is not at all messy, and it's so easy to use, but more importantly if I stick something in a diary or on a report I know it's not going to flake off and go missing! I have things I glued into visual diaries years ago and they are still stuck firmly in place, and this is true of crafts I've done and kept as examples for future reference.

Scissors, paper, card, felt, bits of cloth and a proper Pritt Stick; hours ofentertainment!I've tried the 'cheapo' glue sticks and in my experience Pritt Stick is the best. It's solvent and PVC free and it washes out of clothes at 30ºC. It also wipes off surfaces easily. It really does stick things together very well. The adhesive can be applied smoothly and evenly, and there is sufficient time to reposition the object.The cap fits properly which stops the adhesive from drying out. A great product which is safe and suitable for children.

Pritt Sticks have been a favourite of mine for many years. Easy to use straight from the tube with the twist up motion so you can use it thinly. I mainly use it for sticking labels onto parcels and my son uses them for sticking things into his school books. They seem to last a long time for us. It has strong adhesion and if you buy it in bulk the price is much better per item, rather than buying a single stick. Would recommend.

Don't bother with any other brand. I do crafts with a Beaver scout group and test craft projects at home with my pritt glue and get great results. As with many children's group on tight budget the glue available is usually 'cheap own brand' and I am always frustrated with their uselessness They do not stick anything more challenging than paper to paper and leaves children going home with disappointing artefacts.

I am, and always will be, a lover of pritt sticks. They are the best of the best, nothing can compare to it. The glue sticks I’ve received are legitimate pritt sticks (not that I ever doubted they would be).It is wayyy cheaper to buy it in bulk here than to buy them for £2 something at other shops like Wilkinson’s or Morrison’s.I would recommend this product to anyone and everyone who needs a glue stick!

We get through a lot of these with all or kids at school and needing a glue stick in their pencil cases. I have bought cheaper glue sticks in the past but they really are not good quality. The glue just doesn't stick as well as Sprite stick. These sticks are the bigger ones so will last at least a term! I like these original sticks no gimmicky colours etc. I feel these were a good price too.

You can never go wrong with Pritt, they're a staple in our house and these are the big tubes of Pritt which last a long time. I always use Pritt for sticking down my postage labels before taping them and they stick extremely well and stick right away as with all the other arts and crafts the kids are getting up to - Pritt is our quick go to and we always have them lying around the house.

A lot of decent quality glue for not a lot of outlay. When these were purchased they were cheaper than bulk buying from somewhere like Viking Direct. I didn't get the box as depicted, but received a box with twin packs of glue (totalling the right amount), but the glue sticks were promotional packs with an additional mini stick so I ended up with even more glue than I was after!

Pritt Stick always seems to work better than cheap supermarket substitutes, and buying in bulk means it's just as cheap. The glue is good, it dries strong enough to hold paper, which is all I wanted and expected from it. It's useful to have a supply on hand because there always seems to be one homework project or another that needs copious amounts of the stuff!

I needed some more glue sticks, and only ever use Pritt. A 24 pack on Amazon was significantly cheaper than what the shops had to offer, so I ordered these with next day delivery. These are the full size Pritts which last much longer, which is good. Would definitely recommend buying like this as you save some money and get the same product.
