I have a fairly large collection of harmonicas but this is only the second Suzuki I have. The other Suzuki is a Bluesmaster ( key of A ) and has a wonderful tone. I bought this harmonica in the hopes that it would have a tone of equal quality. It's tone is okay but I am hoping it will improve as I played more and more. If I remember correctly, the Bluesmaster improved after it had been played for awhile.There were two other reasons I picked this harmonica. One reason was that I could not find a "Low D" in any other brand than the one that I had but it had just failed and, as a matter of principle, I did not want to risk another one.

I was attracted by the tone of Suzuki Manji diatonic harmonica played by the youtuber , so I decided to get one from Amazon, so I did, a low E key one. I am quite satisfied with its amazing performance: easy to interpret your feeling, sweet and warm voice, easy to bend, every note of low and high is quite characteristic, etc. I enjoy to play it everyday.

This harmonica produces a satisfying rich mellow deep sound . The holes are rather narrow compared to other harmonicas that I own so it requires practice to produce single notes.It is rather expensive but seems well made and if it lasts should be worth the extra expense.Delivery from Japan was surprisingly fast with no customs duty to pay.

The Suzuki Manji Low E harp is amazing. It's got a conical design based on Joe Filisko's idea. Highly regarded by some of the top harp players worldwide, such as Jason Ricci. I totally love the deep, low pitch and the way it rumbles in my hands while playing the blues.Totally recommended.

Simply the best harmonica I've played.It sounds like a Harley bike... It really purrs on the low registers.I take it everywhere with me. It is really convenient to play in public spaces because of its low tone... It really doesn't bother anyone!

Super Harmonica and SUPER KEY at LOW E FLAT --- Especially FOR JAZZ! As it sounds almost like playing a TENOR SAX! OK, not really, but, you know what I mean.... :)

Sounds and plays spectacular! Used this for an acapella performance of "Another Man Gone".Tone is rich and complex; really held its own out there all alone!

This baby sounds incredible, the lows are more like a Cello - deep and vibrant and thru the amp - its soulful.

Have several other Suzuki harmonicas and love the playability of them. Wanted to try some in the low keys.

the low C key is much less annoying to those around when I am practicing! I am happy with this purchase.

Good tone, easy to play. 2 draw suboptimal, as with many harps.
