We really love this game.Your goal is to buid three huts, which you can do by gathering the required resources as indicated by cards that represent the huts. Every turn you select one token, which indicates either a resource(that you automatically move to) or a number of places you have to move forward. When you go to a resource you can pick it up, unless you went to the marketplace where you can exchange resources you don't need with ones that are there.This means that there is an element of memory to the game, but there is also very basic elements of strategy as well.The first element of strategy comes in the form of the children needing to plan ahead for resource gathering,because some resources may be in risk of depletion. This is only a minor problem though, but this basic form is good to make kiddies think a bit and introduce them to the element. Another strategic aspect is the doggies, who can replace any resource you need (acting as a form of wild card). But the doggies can also be "stolen" from other players too, which adds a nice twist to some games. A final strategic element is that when you pick tokens to move, other players cannot chose them, so with careful thought you can block other players from building a house. Some of these are for more advanced players, but kiddies pick up on this after a time as they aren't that many rules in the game, which makes it a really nice way to introduce this kind of thinking.The game is made up of paper and wood which is another huge plus for me.Very highly recommended

Great game! My 4y and 6y old children loved playing it. The only con is that this is the German edition, and the rules are only in German (I had to find the English version online)
