People don't understand my quest to find the perfect stationary. I can see their apprehension when I say I order pens online. But they're wrong, and I'll tell you for-why:These pens are GREAT (I'm closer, if not finally at, finding the perfect pen), and I own 50 of the bad-boys. Let me name a few of their championship-level features: They don't smudge. They don't dry out randomly. They don't dry out non-randomly, either. They don't smudge unless you really try. They allow themselves to be held like a gentle dove, but also like a dangerous terrapin, all depending on your needs. The ink doesn't randomly stop and start (I'm looking at you, BIC, heathen pen company). They look smart, yet modest.

I write with my left hand & find it impossible to get pens which make my writing legible. I came upon these pens a couple of years ago & guarded them with my life but alas as with all pens they were loaned out or lost. I had but one left & taking the name from the side decided to try Amazon (you find everything on here right?) and BINGO I found the exact pens I use. I find them excellent to write with & the ink is a nice light-ish blue & doesn't bleed or clot. I am able to use them from beginning to end - not something you can say with many pens. For the price & the ability to allow others to read what I write I can only rate these pens 100%.

I have always loved these pens, since the office I worked in in London always provided them. They are the only biro type pens with which can write neatly. Back when I was at school we used pen and ink, then one day the teacher suddenly announced "we will use biros from now on!" Everyone's writing deteriorated just as suddenly. I hated using them and I still do, however when I was introduced to Staedtler stick pens I was pleasantly surprised. I sought them out in shops wherever I could find them. Sadly people seemed to stop selling them and I've not seen them for years, fortunately I found them on the internet and ordered some straight away. Thank you so much.

I bought these pens for at school and i must say for the price they are fantastic. They write well and keep going for very long. I have used one pen for about two weeks and only about a quarter of the ink has been used. Now, in two weeks that might sound like a lot but given the amount of writing i do (doing 5 highers at school) its not a lot at all. At the start of each period it might need a wee scribble to get it going but it only needs a wee one. I'm a lefty and writing in pen can be hard at the best of times trying not to smudge, however even in exams with sweaty hands this pen doesnt smudge. Basically, if your wanting a blue pen. Get this.

Arrived very quickly, absolutely love these pens! I'm a big fan of finer pens, they make my handwriting a bit more neat in my opinion. The colour is a nice light blue, and as a left hander I can confirm that there is no problem with the ink stopping and starting when you change pen directions. I'm still using the same pen 2 weeks later, no sign of the ink running out. Only downside is they're not the most comfortable pen to hold if you don't hold close to the nib, which is smoothed round, the top part is hexagonal in shape. Will purchase again... if they finally run out!

I cannot say enough good things about these pens. Though I primarily use black as it is required of me in work the same stands for this colour as its the same pen. I do a lot of writing in work, often in terrible conditions, and these just work, all the time everytime! They are reasonably comfy in hand and produce a good solid medium point. Also, a box of 10 is convenient and the price cannot be beaten. Much better than the standard bic stuff! Not a great deal more to say on these, excellent pen for the price. I highly recommend them.

I've had company branded pens in the past. On a modest budget, I've been using these blue Staedtler bought in bulk and am delighted with them. Out of the box, they look fine as a delegate (teachers) pen and, in my opinion, the name reads better than 'Bic'. Worth scribbling on a piece of scrap paper to get the ink going when first using them. There's nothing to break easily like a retractable pen. It's a timeless quality box of pens and one even features in a Mr Bean sketch, The Exam! These pens are still popular in many UK schools.

I always feel that you can tell a lot about a chap by where he stands on the great Bic - Staedtler controversy. Is he to be seduced by the saucy Gallic charm of le Bic or does he go for the Teutonic reliability of Der Staedtler? To my mind, the Bicophiles are nothing more than closet socialists. Can you imagine Wagner employing anything other than a Staedtler for his mighty Ring? As Prince Albert said to the young Queen Victoria on their wedding night, "Four sprung duck technique mien liebling!" And who could argue with that?

I've never been disappointed when buying Staedlter stationery. Their products are of an excellent quality, ergonomic and very reliable. Their price can seem a bit steep compared to other brands but they will last you longer, which to me represents good value for money after all. This product, in particular, works out really well pricewise as each pen ends up costing around 20p: very good for a quality product. The item arrived very quickly and well-packed as well so, all in all, a very happy purchase.

Mark my words - "The Staedtler stick 430M ballpoint pens are the ones you want for your office". The write evenly and reliably, even on thin paper and on cold mornings. There are no rattles. The nibs don't bend under heavy handed writing pressure. The lids fit well and come off easily. The plastic feel of high quality, with no rough edges. The proportions are comfortable.Basically - they tick every box. You couldn't expect more from a disposable pen (except perhaps a few more colour options).

I first discovered the wonderful Staedtler Stick as an 18-year old, newly relocated to London (some time ago, now!). Over the years I've come across them in various remainder office product outlets, etc. I bought some for note-taking five years ago when I started my university degree. Today, suddenly, I thought of them again, and here they are!An excellent basic pen. No nonsense! Strong, reliable, and long-lasting. I will now be able to buy them regularly and with perfect ease. FIVE STARS!

There is NO pen that comes close to this one. The blue isnt a horrible navy like Bic, the red is easy on the eye as is the blue. These pens write sooooo smooth and i have yet to get any blobs of ink on my hands or on my work. Through school, college and university these pens saw me to the bitter end. The only downside, they disappear quickly. Once a newbie has seen how good they are, suddenly, the pens grow legs and walk off. Will never ever use another pen while I have these guys :-)

I purchased these pens as we are always using the around the home, they were delivered quick and relatively well priced. The: Like other reviewers, the pens can be stiff and dull but I am coping with them fine. I use them all over the home and office. The very thin, metal tip provides a very smooth and neat write. I am thrilled because of this. I do not know if this product is still being manufactured, but I hope so as I may be ordering them again. A great product, recommendation.

I have been using these since I started Highschool in 1997. And the only ball point pen I have encountered which is comparable is the Bic Cristal ball points. The design is very comfortable for writing for long periods, the ink quality is superb and they last a long time. After what must be many hundreds that I have used, not one has let me down on a multitude of surfaces. For the price, you really owe it to yourself to at least try one of these.
