I've used these pens since the early 2000's. I really like the ergonomics of them and I consider these to be one of the rollerball pens I've used. I've had a handful of them over the last 15 years. Stabilo recently changed the design of the standard line up so I had to add a new one.The new design is quite appealing, the old design was looking a little dated. The new pens have the same amazingly smooth refill as the old ones did and the refills are compatible across the two lines. The refills are quite expensive at around £2.All in all these are excellent pens and I do hope they are made for years to come.

The pen cam all scratched up because it comes without packaging. I was offered a refund which is great customer service. Regarding the penPros: nice designrefillablegood size and comfortableCons: product came damagedI found the ink was blotchy at times but when flowing well it wrote very smoothlyGrip builds up a lot of dust

Bought after liking the blue one - latest big hope in the crossword editor's search for the perfect red pen - red pens disappoint after an initially good spell. Initially superb, and I'm optimistic - will update if it disappoints later

I still miss the needle point refill but the regular point refills at least mean I keep getting to use the very comfortable bionic pen. Nice surprise too, two free highlighters in the box!
