I was delighted at the arrival of these pens, and was upon first use impressed not only by there presentation and performance, but also with how greatly such a high-quality pen as this can affect the particular handwriting or indeed as you could say writing quality/appearance of the individual. They were well presented in a neat little container (of which i still retain to hold the pens) and for 10 of them, and at such a reasonable price for pens of such a well established and maintained reputation, i would strongly recommend that anyone seeking a pen for general, everyday home or school/college use should give these pens a go,and see firsthand just what difference a high-quality writing instrument can make.My only true slight dissatisfaction with this product is that it would seem that after a relatively short period of time (when i say relatively short i am implying a matter of a few weeks, even days with extensive use) the ink does in fact run somewhat dry, and so one must bring out another so as to endeavor to write with the same level of excellence as before.Nonetheless i was overall highly satisfied with my purchase and deeply pleased by the sheer writing experience that may be enjoyed through the products use, and indeed can be easily enjoyed by those willing to spend a few pounds on what i am, through experience and knowledge, inclined to believe is one of the best pens of its kind on the market, and perhaps indeed best of many kinds.

I discovered these pens during a training session at work where these were handed out to delegates, and immediately hunted them down.Comfort********These pens have a classic hexagonal shape which makes them very comfortable to hold. As they use a water-based ink with a little felt tip, you do not have to press very hard which is a problem I tend to have with ballpoint pens - I get a cramp in my hand. With these pens you can hold them lightly and still get great results. The only negative on the comfort side is that these pens are fairly thin, which my big, fat, clumsy hands can find frustrating occasionally. Overall this is a minor gripe, and it's still one of the more comfortable pens I've used of this type.Performance*************The Stabilo fine liner looks great on paper. Because of the ink that is used, signatures and letters almost look as if they were written by a quality fountain pen rather than a this relatively cheap instrument. The point on the pen seems to get slightly larger the more you use the pen, as the nib wears away at the angle at which you write. This further adds to the look of the writing which I quite like.Overall*******I think these pens are great; they write beautifully and are fun for sketching with too. This particular pen comes in a wide range of colours, and I think the full set will be added to my desk drawer in the not too distant future!

A design classic this time in red ink. Pleasure to use. Don't often find the red version in the high street and especially not in boxes of ten.You may know that original writing styli were made from feathers from a variety of European birds. Swan feathers were especially sought after. In 1756, by chance whilst faced with disposing ever increasing piles of swans plucked of all plumage, a young entrepreneur discovered that ergonomic pen shafts could fashioned from their distinctive bills and contrasting pigments manufactured from their various organ secretions. These were considered to be luxurious items, thus 'swanky', and only used for writing important scripts, documents and 'billable'lists; but it is however to be a complete coincidence that the female swan is called a 'pen'. Mass production lead to more sustainable swan farming methods being developed where an individual bird provided several batches of raw materials during its lifetime instead of resulting in its 'swan song'. A swan with a carefully harvested beak is indeed 'mute' until a new one grows back in time for the following season. I could of course be making all of this up and no swans have ever been used in the manufacture of writing tools. The red ink in this pen as far as I know is totally man made.

Being someone who loves to draw I've found that these pens are perfect for drawing over my pencil drawings. The pens that I normally used vanished off the shelf. I then tried various other pens over a period of time & was not happy with the results that was until now. These pens far excel all of the pens that I had tried & not dragging like some pens do. A good pen reflects in the work that you do & these pens do just that, now now I've found a good pen I see no point in tring any other pens. The price is a real bargain & cannot be faulted, I cannot praise these pens high enough I bet you will be pleased as me with the result you get, I had no delivery problems they came quickly.Their a bargain price & are a great pen you could not ask for more.

THESE PENS ARE GREAT.As I am currently undertaking my A-Levels, and am studing 4 essay based subjects, I find it increasingly difficult writing continuously and my hand always starts to cramp. That is why I started looking for a fineliner pen that would be reliable, easy to write with, and good value for money. These pens are exactly that; my hand cramps nowhere near as much as it did before and my writing speed has increased. The pen is also very easy to hold and I never find my hand slipping.I cannot wait to go into my exams prepared with these by my side in order to get the grade I truly deserve, and will definitely be buying these again in the near future!!

I absolutely love writing with these pens! It's so much better than using ball point pens. It's more comfortable, makes my work clearer and I feel like my handwriting has improved. As a maths student, I find that these pens are so much better as they leave ink wherever the pen has touched the paper, whereas sometimes ball point pens don't, which can then change the entire meaning leading to confusion later. They also last so much longer. I have done three separate pieces of coursework with the same pen and it doesn't show any signs of running out. For me, these are now my go-to pens.

I use these pens for everything I write, I also use them at school for all of my notes. When you start using a new pen the ink left on the paper is quite thin but once you have used it for a while the point wears down to the angle that you write at and fattens out the letters. The only down side to these pens is that they only seem to last about a week or two before you have to start a new one so you will find you will go through them quite fast.In conclusion, great pens to write with but I am only giving them 4 stars because they don't last as long as you might want them to

These pens are a design classic. Love to use them and for me nothing else comes close to the precise experience of writing and drawing they give. No smudging or clogging, no build up on the tip with long strokes like with ball points. Why do ball pens still exist? These Fineliners are the upgrade. They seem to last for ever. They don't seem to dry up either. Have them to hand all over the place. There is something appealing about them, something to do with precision and reliability. The excellent visibility around the tip. Educators: get a box of

I'm currently studying Art at university and absolutely adore using these pens - they're great for just about everything and last for an outstanding amount of time. I'd previously just been buying them from my local supermarket where they come in colour packs or a combinations of black and blue which is great except I rarely need anything other than black so it always seemed a bit of a waste until I discovered these little beauties - they should keep me going for a while.

So I love the Stabilo pens they are my favourite pens to colour with and I have so many. So one day I was sat colouring my picture which had loads of leaves using this exact green 88/33 and this type of green doesn't come in the smaller packets and I really didn't want to buy another big packet just to get this exact green. So I hop onto Amazon and here we are I will not be running out this type of green anytime soon! I love these pens!

Brought these to use for some everyday writing and inking sketches. Overall they are fine pens that work. They are not waterproof so the ink will leak if the paper gets wet. I wouldn't use them for any professional or nice drawings due to how much it can bleed on the page depending on paper. I use them to finish quick or scruffy drawings so wouldn't wear down my good fineliner pens. In short they are good for what they are.

Bizarre. Buy a 10 pack cheaper than a 3 pack...For a felt tipped pen, surprising durable with a fine line. I'm a Pilot Hi-TecPoint V5 fan, but these are as good if a different "feel" altogether. My son uses them for school and the fine fibre point slows down his writing which makes it more legible. Also available in a 20 pack of multi-colour which are excellent for "old school" graph plotting on squared paper.

The picture was misleading, and the way Amazon cut off the full description in the search results made it seem like there were only three (I didn't actually look once I'd opened the page); however, I love these pens and was willing to pay £5 for three (I think I have done in the past). To my amazement, when they arrived, it was a box of 10! They should keep be going for at least a year.

I love these pens for taking notes at university lectures and seminars. Consistently fantastic and I just re-order them over and over again, especially since they are great value for money. I enjoy using the coloured ones too, particularly for revision notes to brighten them up but the packs of black are perfect for everyday use and so much nicer to use than an average ball-point pen.
