I paid a great price for this chain and it was sent with the retail packaging. Mine looks a little different to the photo. Just check out the product name HSQG4 to see the specifications and retail price. This is an hardened alloy steel chain which I read is superior to a hardened steel chain. It is quite heavy but it has 10mm thick links (give of take a fraction). Nothing will stop a determined thief I guess but this should help a lot. Use it with a lock of similar quality. Regards.

This chain is very good quality, should last a life time,not for the purpose of carrying around on the motorcycle but ideal for securing in a shed or garage.
