I've used Squire padlocks for years. I try other manufacturers form time to time but I keep coming back to Squire. Their products are solid, well made and long lasting.This cable is no exception.It's got a good weight to it without being too heavy. It's strong, but flexible enough. The loops are a good size and securely welded, there's a strategic velcro closure, and it's visible without being gaudy. The cable profile is multifaceted which is probably only an æsthetic consideration, but it adds to the quality feel of this cable.1800mm is a sensible length and nobody's going to cut through the 12mm cable without powerful tools and a lot of time.I'm a very happy customer.

I wanted something to;Secure my wheelie bins so they can't be moved to gain entry to a flat roof.Something I could use with my keyed alike padlocks (keeping to 1 key system)That would stay slack (and not coil back up)Light and slim enough to make using it as hassle free as possibleI didn't want to spend too muchThis does all of those things, works as deterrent against opportunistic burglars

This is a sturdy cable and will deter casual thieves when used as a secondary lock along with a D-lock. However the velcro strap broke almost immediately so I can't use it to tie up the cable. I usually chuck it in my backpack when not in use so not a huge problem but one to watch out for.

I do like this cable... Squire are reliable with D locks and padlocks so tried this. Does the job required (to lock bicycles).

Just what we need to really secure our bikes into our existing bike, this will be able to go right the wheels, frame and seat

I only use this to assist with locking a trailer onto my vehicle. Works very well. Every deterrent helps.

Well made and fit for purpose, i suggest this is used with at least one D bolt when securing cyles
