Great little game.I never got round to playing it when it was first released but easy to see why it was rated so very highly. It is a bit dated now in terms of both game play and graphics but nevertheless offers hours of enjoyment if you like this type of game - it is similar to Dungeon Siege.It loaded onto Windows 7 (32 bit) with no problems and, although there is a known problem with the "camera" freezing in about 4 instance's of the game (I have just come across the 1st instance after a good few hours of playing), the gaming community discovered that when you reach this point (which comes when you talk to certain characters) the answer is to repeatedly hit the space bar very fast until it goes over that section - I kid you not!!

The Spellforce games are all brilliant. The gold was not quite worth five stars but still scores a 4, and this is because we already had Spellforce 2. The Gold Edition has some extra games, which are good, but Gothic 4, bought at the same time, is the most played of the two.

An old but still interesting and challenging adventure. Graphics not state of the art, but good enough - in spite of its age.
