Nice contact area, and after a bit of a break-in period, clipping in is so much easier than SPD-SL or Looks! Just as easy as SPD, but with a solid contact area so I don't get hot spots on my feet. Very happy with these pedals, so I bought a second set to go on my other bike. The adjustable float is weird, but my knees have no complaints after a couple hundred miles.

I love the additional power I feel when using the clips. It toke a couple of rides to learn to hit the clips, but I find it easier now than my old type of clips.

First time with Spedplay pedals and I love them. Self installed and so far, so good.
