Bought this for a pirate themed murder mystery evening, and got a lot of comments on how great the outfit looked.Really pleased with it, now just need to find more reasons to dress as a pirate (for some reason, it's not socially acceptable to go shopping dressed as one, and although it amused my colleagues, isn't considered suitable work attire either)The shirt material is VERY thin and see-through, I felt more comfortable wearing a white t-shirt underneath it. The shirt also seems a little short, I felt that it sat on/just above where I had the waist of the trousers.The baldric/jacket and shirt are stitched together, not separate, you slip the whole lot on like a jumper.The belts are very thin vinyl material,

For the price it's a very good pirate costume that does the job well. The trousers are a little thin but feel comfortable on and have an elasticated waist, with a length of just past the knees. The jacket is attached to the shirt as a one piece and is adorned with multiple buttons and frills that don't feel cheap and tacky like some costumes can. The belt is ok and new holes can be made easily enough to adjust the waist size. The over the shoulder strap is very similar and in my case needed shortening, easily done.The only bad point is the white shirt as it is quite short, only comes to the top of my belly and I am a 36in waist, and cannot be pulled down.

So this costume is mostly perfect especially for £20. It looks the part but the belts are really cheap. If you can buy two separate belts to replace the ones that come with ot as they are flimsy. The top and jacket are stitched together which is fine for the price but would've been better if not, no big deal. I used this costume with a hat and a red sash around my waist with the belt over it to cover any gap between my trousers are the top, as there was a slight gap to cover unfortunately. This looked really good so it worked out really well. Can't complain about really, cheap and decent enough quality with my other costume bits.

This product was brilliant. The quality was lacking but for the price, you cannot complain. However, you do not get the hair, hat or boots and so as a standalone product, it isn't great. I bought the boots, hair and hat as well and once all together, I had strangers asking for pics thinking I was a Captain Jack Sparrow impersonator... You can't ask for better than that! However, all in, the price did keep going up.... Definitely worth a buy if you are prepared to go all in and get the accessories.

Bought this for Halloween, did the job, people liked it. Didn't bother with the belt for the sword as it was fiddly, plus didn't have a sword since not sure how that would look walking around with a weapon imitation in this age. One thing I did different is bought a pirate hat with wig dreadlocks built in as the photo'd wig isn't supplied and the red bandana was pants.I would recommend.

I've had "packet costumes" before and been really disappointed.This one was better. The trousers were pretty cheap looking and feeling but the top was good.Piece of advice would be to bring something to go under it though as it is short in the front and you'll look like a wannabe belly dancer.all in all though I thought this was worth the money

Excellent costume, however, do not be fooled by the product photos. A bit overpriced because the top parts are actually 1 single piece. But definitely looks nice. I will be afraid putting it in the washing machine... hope it will not be falling apart. Also, I wish there was a shoe/wellie top with it.

Costume is great only down side I found is the white shirt part is a little short, every time I lifted my arms up it became a belly top. If I had a 6 pack I wouldnt mind, but I most certainly do not have a 6pack. I tried pulling the bottoms up higher but I'm not Simon Cowel.

For 25 quid I was expecting a bit better quality. Its ok but if ordering i would recommend getting a size larger than you need. Im 6ft2 and ordered a large for a 44 inch chest which was fine but the shirt finished at my belly button!

For a cheaper costume option this set provides amazing quality.Great value.I coupled it with a wig that provided a higher quality bandana to complete the look.Be advised you would need boots/boot covers to complete the look.

Was sceptical but is pretty good for what I paid. Also the material is actually comfortable although the linen on the shirt is a little thin and so I'll be wearing something under it. Came with everything stated so happy

Excellent costume - looks really good, I bought a hat with wig which was bought separately, to finish off the look of Jack Sparrow, brill, also just washed it and it still looks good. highly recommend this purchase.

Good costume. Bit short in the belly area. Thin material but overall good purchase. Would recommend. Bandana does not have hair attached. So you do need to purchase a wig. Cant wait for the fancy dress party.

Was at a pirate themed summer camp for scouts. I picked this costume up to get in to the mood of things during the festivities. I looked the parts and blended into. It was a well worth the money.

Good fancy dress costume, especially if you also buy all the accessories.Just be aware though, it's very popular. The fancy dress party that I went to had about half a dozen Jack Sparrows :-(
