I bough this as Imwas an Elf at the Christmas Extravaganza at my church and it certainly did the trick. It is made of felt and has a drawstring waist on the tunic. I found the tunic to be too long but I cut it very easily to the right length. This is probably a good thing as it will fit most people regardless of height, with a quick adjustment to the right length. Please note in addition to this you will need to buy tights and felt boots. I did with the tights and a pair of red shoes which I had and these did the trick. It arrived very quickly and is well worth the money

To be honest, I did not expect much from the costume, based on the photo and low price. I was pleasantly surprised to try it and find it very cozy and comfortable! I've been wearing it at least 5 times for the holidays, both indoors and outside. Awesome! Thank you! Just as a small note, the dress looks huge without a belt, but I have a wide (about 10 cm wide) brown leather belt that is stretchy and does the trick to make the overall look complete. And I wear elf slippers indoors on top of my usual slippers (they are to thin to be worn as is).

Reading the other reviews, I was worried about this but what a great product and for £8 odd quid what would you expect?! It is ridiculouosly long and I had to chop a bit off the bottom, but as far as sizing goes, I ordered a large and I'm an 18 and it was fine; who wants skin tight felt anyway?! I think well done to the sellers for providing a fun costume for the money and managing to include postage - to the moaners out the about quality, you get what you pay for... in this case far more than you paid for!

I ordered a medium as I'm a 12! And that's what it advised..S 8/10, M 12/14, L 16/18 Wished I ordered size smaller! As what I received isn't quite like the picture! mine is a more, shall we say..... 'shapeless sack'! And comes to more mid-shin! Than above the knee.. I'm 5ft 4" she must be a 6 footer! I'll have to introducing it to the sewing machine and scissors for a few nips and tucks here and there, before I go anywhere in it.. Not worth returning and re-ordering for the price! I can fix it ;-)

Bit confused about this being called 'a toy'. This elf outfit is excellent value for money. I am only small - size 10- so I bought the 'small' size. It fit really well but was a bit long so I just marked where to cut as the felt doesn't fray. The hat is also included and fit well and stayed put on my head! I can only stress what good value this product is and would recommend it to anyone who wants a cheap fancy dress party outfit.It also arrived very quickly!

Not top of the range quality, but you get what you pay for! Yes, the bell fell off within a day, but didn't expect it to be quite such good quality as it was - material nice and soft and generally not too badly made. Hat too small so used my own, but pleased with it, overall. Would definitely recommend it. Good length too - I'm 5ft 10" and it fitted well. Am a size 14-16 and the medium (12/14) a good fit with room to spare, so very pleased!

Absolutely LOVE IT!!! It is a wee bit cheap and u gotta b carefull wi it but Im in love with it ? reccomend gettin it in SMALL as i thought it was massive but theres wee adjustable strap/toggle to make it fit better round the waist. Great for the price!If you're expecting exceptional quality and wonderful fabric for the price you'll be disappointed... however, it's cheap - and fun!Some sort of felt-like fabric, certainly not put together by a master tailor, but the size fit, and it looked ace on.Missus did however cut off a part of the arms, and used it a "cuffs" (???) for her boots. Matched it up with a pair of white tights (

Great outfit. Was a little worried when it arrived as I thought I oredered a medium size but small arrived which said size 8-10 and normally im a 12. But this fitted nicely and the hat was a perfect fit. I ordered tights and shoes separate as this outfit didnt come with them but I think if you are buying this outfit you should spend money for the extra bits too. Came with wrattly bells on the dress.

Fairly good material for the price, similar to felt. The hat fits well for an adult (and I have a big head!) The only down side is the dress has a cord which leaves a bit of string hanging down when tightened round the waist (with nowhere for it to then go..) which looks a bit odd. The length of the dress was also not too short. But apart from that good purchase, great delivery.

This costume is excellent and includes a hat which is a complete bargin! The only thing I wasn't happy about was the sizing, I guessed I would be a large however when it arrived it would fit at least a size 22+ female and it was calf length. Luckily I had scissors and a waist belt handy! Otherwise excellent and the bells etc really make the outfit!

This lovely and well made elf costume was perfect for Christmas dressing up!. Got quite a few compliments and people asking where I had got it from! I arguably could have got a smaller size but at the end of the day, you can pull the waist in and secure with the cord and toggle tie that is sewn into the costume. Will be using this again next year!

These were purchased for outfits for elves in Santas grotto at an event. For the price I wasnt expecting them to be great quality but was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. They were a decent material, not too tiny (like some!) and came with the hat and had a draw string waist which meant they could fit various sizes probably up to a 14.

Bought this as an emergency costume as we had a sick elf in our grotto, so I had to be a stand in. It was very cheap and kind of matched the price but it was perfect at such short notice. The hat was abit tight at first but stretched enough after wearing it for a while. Its lasted longer than the one I had last year
