Bought this to wear to a 'sing a long' sound of music show, suited the purpose very well, I am usually size 14 and would advise purchasing the size up to what you would normally wear, I bought the large size which was absolutely fine. The material is quite thin but with a half slip underneath again it was fine, the white collar tended to not lay entirely flat but wasn't a problem. I found it comfortable to wear. Sleeve length was very long and I did need to shorten the sleeves. Dress length was mid to lower calf - am 5'4Head piece was a good fit too- I wondered how well it would fit but has piece of elastic to go around back of neck and hold in place,

I was really pleased with this as it meant I didn't have to cobble together various black items of clothing to resemble a nun's habit like I'd done in previous years!I was impressed by the price because I'd expected to pay more. I was also impressed by the generosity in fabric. I'd expected it to be a bit snug in a size 14 so ordered a 16 but was swamped by it!I returned it and got the 14 instead which was just right. Not tight at all with enough room to be comfortable all evening. I forgot to say it was for Sing-a-long-Sound of Music. It's obviously THE 'go to' habit judging from the number of people wearing the identical one! ? Definitely recommendable!

This costume is comfortable, durable and effective. It's breathable so you shouldn't get too hot wearing it, but I would recommend wearing something black and breathable underneath.I wore it in a Halloween Scary Tour and it was subject to a lot of harsh treatment, but it came out the other side unscathed, so it's pretty hardwearing.You might want to wear a white rollneck top with it though as it doesn't cover the neck as well as the women in the example picture.

Generously sized costume but the waist belt will pull it in if necessary. Material quite thin so something black underneath would be a good idea. Looks very good on. Very cheap even with the cost of postage added. Would definitely buy from this company again. Ordered it Thursday with standard delivery it was posted Friday and delivered Saturday. This company and the post office have both provided excellent delivery service.

Was suspicious as it was so cheap, but did the job and fitted well. I brought the wig separate as part of the outfit but was still worth on the whole, as did the bloody job. More than happy with outfit and quick delivery. Would recommend. I’m a 10/12 and 5,8 so the medium was plenty big and left room, with the belt tie. Could have squeezed into a small but I like the option of bigger. No complaints, very happy. ??

I ordered large in case it wouldn't fit me as I am size 12-14 UK and it seems to be bigger it looks like XXL. It think it fits my husband too--haha but in overall it's worth it--- it is still wearable, super comfy and the material is not that bad--i think 5 times wear or 3 times in the washing would still do another 5 years halloweens. Btw...the cross (necklace) is not included..so 1 star away.

This costume is hilarious. Night out with many other 'would be nuns' in Manchester and looked every bit the part......however the "bless me sister for i have sinned" wore thin after the 20th drunk person makes the comment. Costume stayed in one piece despite much dancing! Slightly see through would recommend leggings and vest top underneath (unless of course you wish to be a naughty nun!)

Perfect for Halloween, I can’t wait to wear it!! Material is very thin but not bothered by that too much. I’m normally a size 14, occasionally a 16 (depending on the item & the fit of it) so I ordered a size large to be on the safe side but definitely could have gotten away with ordering a size medium and still would have been baggy ? very pleased with my purchase :)

Ordered a small, Im usually a size 8, bit big but it's fine with the belt on and a really good costume. Can't wait to wear it! It also came so quickly I ordered it Saturday and it came Monday eve (student amazon prime). Gutted it didn't come with a cross but I knew that anyway as it isn't stated in the description. Overall really happy with this purchase ??

Excellent value for the money - ordered the medium and large sizes as reviews were a bit mixed on size. I am a size 14 and the medium is more than big enough! Still going to keep the large as might persuade the other half to were it and we can be 'Nuns on the run' at the fancy dress party - not too sure he'll go for the fish net stocking to wear though !!!

Well I looked like a nun at Halloween! Instructions how to wear the bonnet would have been nice!! I had the elastic under my chin the whole night whereas I reckon this should of been at the back of my head!! No one told me or noticed so not a big deal, but I was upset with the photos.Material is light. Just give it a steam, low-heat iron before wearing.

Great product bought it for our carnival float 'night at the movies' theme. Material is quite thin but wore an under slip so no problem there. Although it was a hot day I actually found it OK. I would certainly recommended this costume. I ordered a size bigger than I normally take and it came up quite large, but with the belt it was perfect.

This was a great buy. I used it for fancy dress at a New Year Dance event and got some good compliments. It was exactly what it said from the description, quite good quality and I received a great service from Amazon with the item arriving earlier than stated and well packaged. Well worth the money. Bought it for outdoor event and wore over my winter coat. I am a size M and this size M fit over my coat but also would work as a slightly wider fit under the coat. Very stretchy. For this price it is a great buy!My sized: waist 76cm, hips widest part 100: size S would fit, but of you like to wear a jacket under M is perfect

Despite the fact the item arrived too late for me to utilize it for Halloween, I was satisfied with the overall condition. It's not the best quality of fabric but that is of course to be expected with fancy dress. Perfect outfit for fancy dress and as a petite size 6, the 'S' size was an acceptable size. Not too baggy!
