I have struggled with thigh chaffing for a couple of years which has limited my outfits somewhat, especially during the summer. I bought these last week, before going to Marrakesh, in the hope that I'd be able to wear long airy dresses and low-crotched harem pants. And they worked!They are soft, stretchy and not too thick to wear in hot weather. The legs are long enough to stop chaffing and didn't roll up or become itchy, despite me walking roughly 6 miles in 33 degree heat in them. I am usually a size 12, but bought a size 14, as Sloggi pants have come up slightly small on me in the past. The 14 was a nice comfortable fit. The elastic round the legs didn't dig in or cause unsightly lumps and bumps.

I suffer from inner thigh chafing or 'chub rub' to give it its colloquial term, so wearing skirts or dresses can be problematic during the summer months. Various internet fora suggest the wearing of long leg cotton knickers could alleviate this problem.This is a well-made product, there's a thin trimming of decorative lace on the hem of both legs, which stretches and doesn't dig in. The waistband has a thin layer of elastication, but the size/care label caused me some irritation. I'm a size 16 and 5ft 9in and the legs finished at mid thigh and were therefore invisible when worn under a mid-length dress. They washed well, but the material *was* rather thin, so who knows how long they'll last?In conclusion: a good product,

I suffer from chaffing in hot weather and it can really ruin outings or holidays for me... But not anymore!! These pants worked better than expected and then some! I spent 4 days walking round euro Disney and not an ounce of chaff. Half way through I spent day in jeans and did experience redness and thought my holiday was ruined, however I wore a dress the next day and didn't rub at all. It was a miracle! Will definitely be buying these again on pay day and will wear them regularly with dresses instead of wearing tights!In terms of fit I'm a 14-16 on my bottom with large thighs, I bought a size 16 and fit well. They are mainly cotton too so stretch a bit. They are a bit on the long side (finishing in the last half of my thigh)

These have basically revolutionised my summers! Ireland has had an uncharacteristically hot summer this year, where it just wasn't feasible for me to wear leggings every day. These long briefs are quite comfortable with a few niggly things. First they tend to slip down a lot. The size is perfect for me but I have a slightly smaller waist than hips so maybe it's that. I don't mind pulling them up every so often, but it would get very annoying if I were walking all day. Secondly they tend to ride up on the legs a little bit so I was constantly pulling them down in that area. It'd be nice if they were designed the same way as leggings, where they just sit where you pull them to.

Bought these long knickers to wear under dresses to prevent the dreaded chafing! So far they seem to be doing the job well - very comfortable, and they are light too so I don't feel like I'm too hot from wearing another layer. They have a little knickers-style gusset too, which gives another layer of coverage. The waist and leg bands are comfortable and don't "cut in" at all or affect your silhouette.If I had a criticism it would be the lacy edge along the bottom - do manufacturers realise that women do not *need* lacy bits or bows on their underwear?! It doesn't seem to add to the functionality and I worry that if a breeze blows up my dress it will be obvious to all that I'm wearing lacy ginormous pants rather than,

Ordered these to combat 'chub rub' and was not disappointed. Was a little worried they would make me too hot but they are cool and comfortable with no rolling down at the top or riding up at the legs. I bought my usual size and they are possibly a tad larger than expected but not enough to order a size down and still fit well.My only gripe is that they are a little on the long side (sit about 4 or 5 inches above the knee) and with an on the knee skirt I was a little conscious when sitting down that they were showing. Having said that I am only 5ft 4 with comparitively short legs so may not be a problem on someone taller.Overall very pleased and wearing a skirt again for the first time in 2

As I am not as slender as I once was, I have found these are great for wearing under thin, loose fitting summer trousers or skirts without tights as they make it so much more comfortable walking in very hot weather. They’re more expensive than other similar products but they don’t roll up, they don’t appear to ‘bobble’, the bottom lace edge does not rub and they are machine washable and can be tumble dried if needed quickly. I have one black pair and one skin coloured pair and I use them like shorts with a pair of knickers under - yes, I know, you perhaps did not want to know that! So (three layers!) in 90+ degrees heat walking around New York and they were still comfortable.

Made a huge difference to my comfort in the summer months, lightweight soft cotton material remains breathable. Wash very well, i found that the lace was slightly more snug than the leg, but it was not uncomfortable for me. I have bought several pairs, I have now lost weight and need to purchase a size down, just hoping that they come back in stock before the summer comes. Boyfriend also finds them hilarious, able to keep walking all day, in the summer dresses i have always wanted to wear without any pain from the dreaded 'chub rub'.Have recommended to many friends, being a longer length as well I have found that they assist with retaining modesty when doing activities.

A total game changer! I love wearing skirts and dresses but I have thighs that are best friends and hate to be apart so always end up with the dreaded chafing situ! I went out for a few hours yesterday to a National Trust property which included a lot of walking around the grounds and I didn’t experience any discomfort or chafing at all..nothing! The only thing I would say, if you have a large butt and thighs...size up. I’m normally a 16 but reviews pointed me in the direction of the 18...so I bought both. The 16 fits but the 18 is definitely more comfortable! Honestly, it’s like wearing a pair of short leggings, you won’t regret it! I’m off to buy more!

These are really comfortable and fit true to size. They are the same fabric/thickness as a pair of normal cotton knickers, the only difference being that they have legs. Having used a lot of different products to prevent chaffing in the past (that wax/cream in the blue stick, bandalettes etc.) and, while they all work fine, these are probably the easiest and most fuss free- just wear these instead of normal knickers- no extra layers nothing to apply or pull up or whatever. I'm going to persist with this pair for a bit longer to make sure they are durable (I've only had them a few weeks) and if so, will be ordering a pair in each color.

I am between 16-18 size in trousers. I ordered size 18 just to be comfortable and hoping it would not roll down whilst walking and they did not which is a super plus. These were really comfortable and the fabric is very cool. I am giving them 4 star because after almost 3 months of constant use(summer time).They have already developed holes around the thigh area which is not nice that I would need another pair of briefs soon and they are not that cheap. Also the fabric may be a bit thin, if a strong wind blows and your brief is expose people can see the color of your underwear. Over all they were good and the shipping was fast.

They're fab! I've been buying many different kind of shorts to wear under dresses (to prevent thigh chafing) and these are by far the best I've found. I keep re-buying these after many experiments with other brands.I just saw a comment saying that they fell apart after a year - I think a year is actually quite a decent time for these to last! I wear them practically every day and of course I expect to have to replace them - haven't counted exactly how often, I have about 10 pairs and I constantly replace 1 or 2 with new ones. In general I am quite happy with the quality. But yes, it won't last forever.

So this is a topic many people don't like talking about but I'll give it to you straight. Chub rub. I have it. I hate it. It's painful as he'll and keeps me from wearing dresses. But sometimes you HAVE to wear a dress, ya know? Like to a wedding. Well pop these on underneath and your thighs will glide lightly like a pair of Olympic figure skaters. No pain or chafing. Why bother with creams and powders and oils and all that mess when you can put on these super comfy babes and glide through life like an elegant swan. Get one in every colour because you're gonna love em!

Came in specified time.With multiple parcel bag. Sloggi box, item not sealed and no plastic bag (or other eco friendly cover) to protect for hygiene. No hygiene seal on crotch.Really comfortable fabric. Legs edged with lace but no gum to help keep in place. Not worn as yet so not sure how they behave in action.Seams centre back and front, inside leg and a patch crotch. About the length of cycle shorts which might be a problem under some lengths of dresses or skirts but great for trousers. Lace waistband. Feels very breathable.Size UK 16

I can not recommend these enough. They are brilliant. I have bought several of them over the years and they never disappoint. Good for wearing under dresses and skirts in hot weather to prevent upper thighs from sweating and rubbing together uncomfortably which might cause sore skin. Also great for wearing under leggings, if the leggings are of thin material and you’re conscious of them being slightly see through.They are so comfortable. Wear under tights too to held prevent the tights from sliding down on the waist / crotch area.
