Sloggi are great pants, comfortable and firm, they feel supportive without digging into you and they do not ride up the back due to the seam and the way the gusset is sewn in. Wear these and you won't find yourself sneakily trying to remove a wedgie at work or at the bus stop. I always tell people when you wear Sloggi, you feel so comfortable it's like wearing nothing at all (as long as you don't go too small or far too big). These come recommended for a woman of ANY age who wants to be comfortable and not self conscious of the comfort their underwear provides.I used to wear these when I was a size 24-26 and no other pants would do, they would cut into me,

Lovely comfy briefs and Sloggi's usual high quality, but the 4-pair pack I received are not as "high rise" as expected, but the normal Sloggi basic Maxi style.Like a previous reviewer, I need to keep my low-to-mid back area warm so I ordered these expecting them to reach at least a couple of inches above the waist, and I'm very disappointed to find that they don't.Perhaps it is just me, but until I saw these on Amazon I had not previously heard of any Sloggi briefs being referred to as "high rise" so it was a surprise when they turned out to be the same Maxi's that I have worn for years.Also as another reviewer mentioned, I find the back seam way too bulky and it irritates like billy-o,

Nice underwear and as expected with Sloggi you get what you pay for. Being a relatively new customer of Sloggi, I have since discovered that for me personally I need a size larger than my usua,l BUT this is certainly not detrimental to the item. The quality and comfort of these briefs are like no other and after years of purchasing underwear that was cheap and convenient, my eyes have now been opened. Yes the price may be signifcantly higher than you might normally pay for such an item but for me the pure quality, comfort and durability was worth every penny. I will definately be returning for more. Thankfully my days of purchasing cheap underwear are well and truly over.

I've been wearing these since way back in the last Millennium and they are hard-wearing, incredibly comfortable. I think I've only ever bought a dozen pairs in total during that time and they withstand all the washing they have to put up with. You can't get better value than that!OK, so they're not little lacy,sexy whisps of nothingness, but for everyday comfort and practicality they can't be beaten.Just about to order some more, as the ones I've had that weren't Sloggi, have all disintegrated!Just a thought, but I've had trouble with some knickers (and indeed some trousers) in that I seem to be allergic to the black dye used by the manufacturers, inc M&S basic black knickers.

I'll be honest and say that I have never owned a pair of these myself. These were bought as a present for my sister at her request. She absolutely loves the fit of these knickers - she says they are very comfortable, wash well but, most important of all, due to the design and elastic at the waist, they don't roll down like other knickers when you have a bit (or a lot) of tummy! I think the price puts me off buying myself as they work out at £5 - £6 a pair if you can find them at the right price. Others are sold at a much dearer price. I usually pay round that for a pack of 5. However, I have recently been experiencing the annoyance of having mine roll down, so may be considering trying out myself.

I've never worn sloggi underwear before but was advised to wear them by a medical professional as they are more supportive than standard ladies pants and I need more abdominal support because of numerous major operations on my tummy. I ordered these a size bigger than I would normally wear as was warned they tend to come up small, I'm glad I heeded this advice as my usual size would have been too small. The bigger size fit me perfectly and are extremely comfortable to wear, they are not too tight or restrictive but do feel as though they are holding my tummy well so I'm very pleased with them I bought them in black and only bought the one pack to try them out but now I know how good they are

I purchased these Sloggi Maxi Briefs for my neighbour (she doesn’t like buying items on the internet).She has this to say about them: I have been wearing Sloggi pants for so many years as they are so comfortable for the larger figure. I got these ones as they were slightly cheaper than my previous supplier. The elastic is not too tight and the cotton material offers me support. I really like how they last for so long without going out of shape. I will be getting some more.I must admit that Sloggi pants have always appealed to me, but I did think they were too expensive, but if they last as long as my neighbour says then they are definitely worth it.

First bought these about 15 years ago and now they're the only knickers I ever wear. Very comfortable with only 1 (main) seam which is down the back. They are the ultimate in cotton pants with only 5% of lycra to give the perfect fit. The material has a good stretch and return quality and washes well. They have a very long life too, though that said, I have noticed that in old age they tend to get "ripe" all of a sudden - you pull them up and your fingers go straight through them! Please bear in mind I'm talking years old here. Give them a try - you'll never go back to "ordinary" knickers!

Comfy, as always, I am very happy with the quality of the Sloggis. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that they have ENORMOUS multi-folded labels tacked in with the washing instructions & other info in several languages!! You couldn't leave the labels in place, they would be very irritating, & they are obviously put in to be easily removed. It would be better to be able to keep size & washing information on the pants though &, as I wash for more than one Sloggi wearer, it would be useful to have a label to mark, so we each get our own pants back!

Like the other lady I am a large lady and have worn Sloggi Maxi knickers since they first came on the market for the large lady. They are the best ones I have ever had but they are now pricing themselves out of the market for me and I am being forced to buy cheaper but not comfortable knickers. I don't believe for one minute that they cost anything like this to produce but because they got popular the price ticket rose to ridiculous prices. £23.99 for a pair of knickers - or do my eyes deceive me? I certainly have to forgo buying them at that price.

I find it hard to buy Sloggi Maxi Briefs, so was thrilled to find them on Amazon. My first pair I bought by accident as I usually prefer the shorter ones, but with leggings they are ideal, no more Lines, just one smooth line at the back, you wouldn't even know you had them on - or any one else for that fact!! I NEVER buy anything but Sloggi, and I haven't for the last 20yrs since I discovered them. Why would I!! they last so long the extra price is oh so worth it and they never go out of shape.

Have been buying Sloggi pants for a long time now, still going strong after years of washing, never go baggy, always fit properly and because I buy the "big" knickers there is no mid bum knicker line showing through your trousers. They seem expensive initially but because they last for years they are actually cheaper in the long run. I don't buy the white ones any more because, as with most other white clothes, they go grey eventually and although still ok to wear, they don't look so good.

Sloggi underwear is just the best, I’ve bought them in the past for myself and more recently I bought some for an elderly relative, who uses incontinence pads. She loves it too as it keeps everyone secure and comfy.You can wash it over and over again and it never wears out or loses it’s shape. It lasts years. It’s extremely comfy, easily moves with your body so it never pinches or rubs. It might be a bit pricy but it far out lasts cheaper underwear.

They were too big but that was my fault I ordered the wrong size but they'll do, I ordered some a size small yesterday & they have arrived today. I've always liked sloggi Knicks but my last four packs was really, really thin, not from Amazon I might add. These are really good & I'm extremely pleased with the quality of all three packs of four. Well done again! I have since received the smaller size & I am as delighted as the aforementioned review.

As usual, these are perfect. I have been wearing Sloggis for about 30 years now and they never fail! Just don’t like the new paper removable labels which are sewn on inside. Much preferred the old cloth ones. If you forget to remove the paper ones before wearing you can’t easily remove it before getting your hands on some scissors to remove the stitching. Very uncomfortable until then. However, the pants themselves are as good as ever!!
