I chose this fan initially because it had to be fully socket 1151 compatible whilst offering a low profile as to not be intrusive and still give good performance, so far I've not been disappointed. Although others have commented about how difficult it is to fit, personally I didn't find it too difficult to fit but the M/board does need to be supported from behind when installing to minimalize any board flex as the spring loaded retention screws need a bit of pressure on them when tightening but once fitted it sits nice and low on the board. It's also incredibly quiet and it's cooling my i5 6600K down to 35C at idle and under heavy gaming load with CPU O/C to 4.5 Gb the cooler still maintains 55C which is better than I expected. Please note that I've not rated the durability as I've only had it a couple of weeks.

I bought this for a Home theatre PC Build to keep it cool and quiet and it is exactly that. I will post an update after benchmarking with a Intel G3258 Anniversary Edition OC'd as far as possible. On average under moderate load this thing doesn't go over 45*C with idle temperatures around 23 - 27*C Last benchmark I remember after 1hr of Prime95 Max Temp was 56*C with ambient being around 22*C. Please note you will need access to the back of your motherboard and this fits the socket 115X category i.e. 1150 etc. and screws directly onto the motherboard instead of a mounting bracket. PS it is very low profile and doesn't obstruct RAM slots, at least for me anyway.

How would I improve this item? Just use normal screws. The cooler fits nicely into a case, and it feels well fitted. However, the springs are stiff and a pain to fit to the back plate. I'm giving this item 4 stars though as it does the job and is quiet as well.

Didn't look at the measurement of the actual heatsink. Fan the right size, but unit won't fit the motherboard. My mistake so no negative rating, it feels good quality and will be useful at some point given all the PC's I repair.

This fan is so silent but yet efficient! I bought it for my mini build and it keeps the machine cool - only a couple of degrees higher than my other, which is trice the size!

Bought this for a test bench in work. It's open so this is all the cooling it uses. The previous fan I used was much louder than this. Does the job.

Very good, a quick replacement for my newest pc build, really quick fit (unlike some of the bulkier coolers) No issues so far.

Pretty damn good cooling preformance and extremely quit. No doubt the best cooler for rvz02 or ml08 but at a price...

Months later and no problems. Seems to be keeping the CPU consistently cool. I even used the bundled thermal paste.

7.2.2016

Keeps my 6600K quite cool 21-27 degrees at idle and under 50 degrees at load quite good for a small cooler.

Fits well in a htpc case.Came with thermal paste.(Would be nice if it came with cleaning wipes too)

27.3.2017

Not too load, keeps my intel core skylake i5 6600k under 70 even on heavy loads

Easy to setup, give better cooling in small itx case

25.1.2016

Quiet and low-form factor! Thats a rare combination.

Feels pretty solid, it’s small and works well.
