I'll admit I am a Sheaffer pen fan. Lovely little pen for the price and was (until I treated myself to another pen) my daily use pen. Ink flow is smooth and I favour the thin nibs. Coupled with Watermans inks it has been a joy writing with it. Now it is my black ink pen (Carbon Ink Black) and because of that ink and the need to wash out regularly it gets taken apart more than most pens. Sturdy and easy to maintain. Would recommend it as your first pen or even as an upgrade. Smooth flow, good balance (especially for me as I have big hands and long fingers and some pens don't sit right).

Though I had ordered the product in Cobalt blue colour, I was contacted by the seller the next day who apologized saying that the broad nib variation of the product is not available in Cobalt blue but in White color. I asked him to send me the white fountain pen.To my delight, it is a beauty and a butter smooth writer. It just glides effortlessly on paper. Nowadays, I find reasons to don a white shirt to match with the white fountain pen.Five stars for the immediate response from the seller and for the product too.

My first Sheaffer but will not be the last. Sturdy, good grip, solid, well made robust construction. A bargain for the price paid. A nice medium width barrel so good for smaller hands but not too thin as many pens are. In a word Perfect!

This is my second Sheaffer pen and just like the other one it performs really well. It glides across the page and does not skip. I love the fact that Sheaffer provide a converter as I much prefer to use bottled ink.

I bought this as one of my wife's birthday presents and she loves the pen which has a luxurious appearance and smooth writing.
