this is the e.d.t. for the scotchman on the go the one that makes the statement,'ah mur scoatish, an' ah ferr nang the berries'! the thistle invokes the dark and proud heritage of ancient caledonia, the black pepper provides the warmth inherent in the nature of all true scotchmen (and scotchwomen!) it's proud and it bites! what those of other nationalities get from it is up for discussion, but why not try it and see what it does for your independence?my preferrence is usually for e.d.p., previously a user of the original 'gucci pour homme' (that they dinnae mak nae mair), and currently an appreciator of viktor & rolf's 'spicebomb extreme' (that they dae mak bit it's no chape),

I read a number of reviews claiming the scent faded quickly and feel they were unfair. I bought this knowing as an eau de toilette the scent isnt as strong or long lasting as an eau de cologne or eau de parfum, isnt anywhere as dear as those. smell is perfect and lasted 12 hours, but then i also didnt wear it as an aftershave. after shower and shave i sprayed spurts on inside elbows, chest and back of neck. 4 sprays in all and it lasted . I NEVER USE COLOGNE AS AN AFTER SHAVE, IT DRIES SKIN TOO MUCH. Love the smell and paid a lot less here than any high street store. just remember, AFTER SHAVES labled such are for the face and tend to have heaviets scent, next come the NOT FOR THE FACE ,eau de parfum very high scent and price,

This is a stunning aftershave with a great scent that lasts a reasonable time. Why is one star missing because it is a Scottish company and yet I cannot get it delivered to the Isle of Bute, just off the West Coast of Scotland. Had to get it delivererd to a Hotel in Glasgow when I was due to stay there the night before my chemo. Thistle and Black Pepper is highly recommended. Blind buy it, I don't think you will be disappointed, especially at this price. I would have it on my subscribe and save list to get it at an amazing £13 but due to the deliver issue, I can't. I will have to get some delivered to my brother in Dorset before he travels up to visit, what a pallaver!!Live, Laugh,

I took a chance on this as it was on sale, and I'm very happy I did. My husband now wears this every day, and we both love the scent (to the point where anytime I'm around him after he's put it on, I just want to nuzzle into his neck haha).It's not as strong smelling as other colognes he's worn, but honestly, that's part of why I like it... I'm quite sensitive to frangrances, and this one doesn't bother me at all. We'll definitely be purchasing again when this bottle runs out.

Love this aftershave. My wife found it first when we took a trip to the Roman Spa in Bath. She said it smells like D&G, so I thought I'll try it. I love the fact that it's made here in the UK and love the price. I often get compliments on how nice it smells and love that it costs roughly half the price of D&G. I now have it on subscribe & save as I like it so much ??

This scent is just perfect.I'm not one for spending daft money on aftershave but at the same time, I want a nice scent which last. Until now, I didn't think I could have one without the other, however with this it's win win.The scent is subtle, manly and best of all, last most of the day. Highly recommended.

When I first sprayed this on, it reminded me of the PE changing rooms when I was at school. An intoxicating mix of various teenage body sprays, mainly Lynx Oriental. When it dries down, though, it's a really great green/spicy/oriental scent, reminiscent of the old Hugo Boss 'Elements'. Well worth a try.

My hubby received this as a Christmas present in 2016.I noticed he was getting pretty low so purchased this aspart of his pressies this year.It’s a wonderful aftershave, you don’t think thistle andblack pepper will work but it truely does.

For the price this aftershave is an absolute bargain. My girlfriend picked me up from work one evening and asked me why I had just put on aftershave, despite me putting it on that morning. Long lasting and smells great !

Great smelling day wear aftershave. Really nice masculine scent, you’d think it was a much more expensive brand. I personally would t wear it for evening but as a bargain work scent it’s ideal.

This aftershave is a lovely fragrant subtle aroma that last a long time, just sorry not many shops stock it, but it's very easy and quick to order on line. Will recommend it to all men.

Discovered this in the information centre in Balloch. The nicest aftershave I've ever sniffed! I couldn't resist getting some as a gift for a certain man in my life

Bought this as a present for my boyfriend. It smells lovely, good size and I liked that all the packaging is recyclable. I would repurchase the brand again!

Unusual combination but one which is very appealing. Long lasting scent which lasted all day. Value for money and different to what other men are wearing 5*
