I bought this game for my 7yr old daughter who is Scooby crazy and she was suitably entertained. There are 3 levels of difficulty - Spooky, Spookier & Spookiest - and plenty of areas to explore. There are 5 suspects to match the clues against & each time you play it could be a different culprit, meaning the boredom factor doesn't kick in too soon. You have to explore the town of Los Burritos where the mouse pointer becomes a Scooby paw which either grabs at things to click on or points in the direction you can go, meaning kids don't always need you there. On her first play my daughter needed my help a few times, but I quite enjoyed helping her. My particular favourite was the pie throwing game accessed from the Saloon, where you are Scooby and you have to hit the phantom with as many pies as possible to earn Scooby Snacks. You need the Scooby Snacks every time Shaggy & Scooby don't want to go somewhere. A few tips - ride the train a few times, jump on the bed in the prison and look carefully out of the upstairs Saloon window. This game has authentic voices & pictures, & a nice detail is the way the characters act when you click on them (Shaggy eating a huge sandwich, Daphne touching up her hair etc.) Definitely worth the small amount of money you pay for it!
