I'm really pleased with my new freezer. I chose this one because it can live in the garage. the build quality is good and sturdy. I particularly like the lid which is counterbalanced so it does not fall on your head when you reach inside. it has been running for a couple of weeks, the temperature appears stable and power use economical. there is plenty of room to freeze all the produce from my garden, and a few treats too. The basket is a bit small, but useful to store open packets of veg.

Compact, neatly finished and just the right size for two of us. Although some noise is audible, it is not intrusive nor loud. The controls are front lower right, but easily accessible. The lid is counterbalanced, but it is unsupported for the first fifteen inches or so - easily spotted and gotten used to. There is no internal light, but the chest is lined in metallic silver and isn’t difficult to identify contents. We are delighted with the quality and price of our freezer. Highly recommended

I am totally blown away with this freezer, it far exceeds my expectations. Firstly for just under 2 litre capacity the price is amazing. The freezer is so deep and long. It will keeep a family of four going for a while , whilst still holding capacity for more! The freezer door is on slow hinges and stays open which is very handy. Comes with a basket for every day items which is very useful. This freezer is worth every penny and comes highly recommend. you will not be disappointed!

This Chest Freezer is an outstanding appliance. The counter balance lid stands up perfectly, allowing immediate access. The room inside is impressive and the single wire basket is the perfect size for moving planned meals etc into. The adjustable temperature control offers 4/4 star freezer choice, complemented by a money saving A+ energy rating running cost. Finally, it is as quiet as a frozen snowman and with a free 2 year warranty to boot, is a sound investment.

Excellent delivery service wherein the poor delivery man was tracked by gps from the time he set out to when he arrived. A 200 litre freezer delivered by one man? But he was on time and extremely courteous, placing the freezer precisely where requested. Don’t know about efficiency of freezer yet (we’ve had it a week) but it is only Energy A rated so I’m not optimistic. Had to buy this in a hurry when the old one failed. Top tip; do your research early

Really pleased with my purchase it arrived on time, and fulfils all my requirements and you can even use it in a garage. Only one small thing - it doesn't have an internal light in the lid which would be helpful but not essential. I thoroughly recommend this freezer - good quality and value.The service from Argos was also excellent, they kept me informed of delivery and the freezer arrived when they said it would.

When I first came across this freezer I was pleased with the reviews I read, so I tried like a lot of people would to get it cheaper and couldn't. Argos are superb, they delivered when they said they would and the freezer is excellent value and the build quality is great too. I would have no problems recommending it to anyone. Fantastic service from Argos and a Great Freezer from Russell Hobbs.

My freezer compact looks great just fitted nicely in a corner. I would recommend if you need a freezer this is the one to buy.Delivery was on time with good customer service from the drivers who delivered the product.I am not good at ordering online but I found it simple to order & track since as I am not computer savvy.

Seems to be fine. The freezer is smaller front to back but capacity is good. The lid is spring loaded to open up so this takes a while to get used to. The best feature is that it is designed to work outside in my garage. Let's hope this proves to be an advantage and the freezer itself lasts as long as my previous one did.

I bought this freezer as it is designed to go in the garage. It is very quiet and a useful size, will hold a lot of food which freezes quickly after being put in. I am only giving it four stars as it seems to frost up quite quickly, especially in one area around the lid which maybe because the seal isn't working properly

Deliverd on time, driver helped me (6 months pregnant)Put it in the exact place I needed.Plenty of room, good shelf & basket to separate meat & vegetables & cakes exc. bought because I didn't have any room in my other chest freezer for all the goodies over the x-mas period.No complaints at all! 5 star rating!

My new freezer is absolutely amazing it has loads of space so I can really stock up on my frozen food it’s nice and quiet and freezes very well I am very happy with my purchase the freezer fits in my kitchen very well it doesn’t take up loads of space I am a very happy customer with my freezer from Argos

This is a great freezer plenty of room to store all your frozen produce. The counter balanced lid is good as it doesn't need to be opened fully unless you need it to. The only criticism is there is no interior light but that doesn't detract from how good the product is or how pleased I am with it.

I was looking to replace a 36 year old Electrolux freezer with a similar spec chest freezer ie one capable of operating in a garage. The Russell Hobbs can operate to -5° and was the only range rated to this specification. The only downside is that my hamster baskets did not fit!

Arrived on time and was well packed and undamaged. When switched on it soon reached operating temperature. It does seem that it will be economical to run as the motor spends more time off than on, but I wont know until my electricity bill arrives but it is looking good so far.
