The Rotring Rapidograph and Isograph pens are the classic draughtsman's pen. They give a lovely crisp line, the ink sitting ripe on the page with edges sharp as a razor. However they are fiddly, with the ink coming from a refillable ink cartridge, so you need to rinse them out or the ink will dry out and jam the fine nib. They are classed as technical pens, providing a fixed width of line. The 0.35 mm is the most popular size, with the classic yellow trim.My hope was that this pen would be a disposable replacement. Unfortunately it is not. It is a good fibre tip pen, but the quality of the drawn line is far inferior to that from the Rapidograph/Isograph pens. The styling is clearly based on professional Rotring pens, but the plastic and finish is a little cheap. The barrel gets worn with use for example. The line drawn will also thicken as the pen is used more. The 0.4 mm line is actually quite fat and a finer nib might prove more useful. This line of pens has 0.1mm, 0.2mm, 0.3mm, 0.4mm, 0.5mm, 0.7mm and 0.8mm nibs though you might need to go elsewhere to source them. I would recommend Cult Pens, though other sites are doubtless available.Overall not a bad pen, and it certainly does look the part, with some real architect's style chic, but if you are looking for a professional quality technical pen in disposable form then I am afraid that this is not it.These pens are however well reviewed by artists and are well worth considering for artwork, where creating a good line quickly is a bonus and you are less likely to be bothered by the line fattening if your pen dawdles. I've not had any problem with smudged ink. With this thickness of nib, the ink will probably bleed through a sheet of standard writing paper being faintly visible on the other side.Maybe I'm just sentimental about Rotring pens but I'm fond of these, I have a dozen each of 0.2mm and 0.3mm and use them regularly.

I started off using the Rotring Rapidograph pens for drafting on tracing paper but I never really got on with them. After persisting through several months of increasing frustration I began to look for alternatives. I have tried several different manufacturers but find these to be the best. In theory they don't dry as quickly as the Rapidographs but I can't say I have really noticed. Where the Rapidograph inkflow was temperamental, sometimes flowing smoothly, as often as not coming out uncontrollably, the Tikky pen flows smoothly. I spend far less time scrapping ink overruns than I ever did with the Rapidographs and, with the various sizes available I find the line width is more accurate,no doubt because the ink flows more reliably.

Very well made and ink flows freely. It lasts a long time too. Gave it 4 stars rather than 5 stars as line and writing is not as fine as I would have liked, seems more like a 0.2. Very good value if you do not mind that. Wish they made a 0.05 thickness now.

These are excellent for occasional technical drawing as they don't appear to dry out when not used. They are probably not quite as good as the old ink filled Rotring pens but require nil maintenance, e.g. no messy refilling or cleaning them after use.

It's a superb pen. I had seen many expensive pens in stores but i didn't go for them as they were pretty expensive. This pen exactly does what it is meant for. Attached is te pic of Madhubani art that I did using this pen.

The Tikky graphic in 0.3 is a lot thicker than I like to write with, but I bought it to use when drawing or drawing lines, and it's perfect for both. Nice to use, long lasting and has beautiful ink.

Many years ago, I used to use "real" Rotring pens as part of my job. Those days are long gone. These pens are very good. The ink is very black and opaque and the delivery is good and reliable.

Rotring Tikky Graphic Fine Liner Pen 0.80mm - Black Ink.I love this pen, the 0.8 nib is ideal for writing in my daily journal. Delivery was next day, the price was good. FIVE STARS!

Great easy flowing pen. I deal for writing notes, and marking up diagrams and plans.Tip does not dry instantly so does not need capped when you have paused for thought.

Fantastic pens, clear and reliable lines. The only thing is that with 0.2mm nibs they wear out quite quickly and can break, but that's not a fault with the manufacture.

I love this pen, I use it for doodles in my "grown-ups colouring book"! I'd happily get another when this runs out, it's a pleasure to use and a very reasonable price.

Very good fiber tipped pen. Very black ink and very smooth to use. Although very cheap to buy it has a quality feel as most Rotring products do. Nice to use.

Great technical drawing pen - or note taking pen. Very fluid and fast so recommended to everyone as a good everyday pen for writing and drawing.

got them in the blister pack as those were cheaper then if they were single - why is that? Effort to just pick items out of a box I guess.
