Updated Review: So upon having bad first impressions, I think they were due to the box and bottle smelling "cheesy". That's the only way I can describe it. After leaving the bottle outside of the box and spraying the existing contents of my old Polo onto the new bottle, the cheesiness has now dissipated and, according to my wife, it smells like the more traditional Polo I'm used to. As such, I have upgraded my review from my existing 1 star to a 5. As such, as a recommendation, if you do open it and it smells decidedly "off", leave the bottle out and give it a good rinse as the contents should match what you're expecting.

The smell of this aftershave is definitely one of the best out there!I would say this is for the more mature male, as it has that tobacco/cigar scent to it, which really smells fantastic!I originally purchased this a long time ago when I was 18, and I really loved the strength, and longevity of it. I have read the reviews of this, and I would agree that the scent of the bottle given to me from Amazon doesn't seem as long lasting. Perhaps this is down to a change in ingredients, as someone else has mentioned?However - I am still delighted by this fragrance, and It's one that I use a lot.

my old time fragrance just love polo green , I have been using polo green for the last 25 years now there is not another fragrance that can match this , long lasting sexy smell so I have been told so many women who love the the smell , all you men try polo green you will not regret it , best mens fragrance on the market no doubt about it

Chosen as the best price, ordered Saturday lunchtime, delivered 1st thing Monday, excellent communication throughout. I must confess that I was slightly wary of buying perfume on line for the 1st time , but needlessly, certainly appears 100% genuine to me. 11/10!

I've been using this fragrance for MANY years and don't understand the comments re it smelling fake.Absolutely the same fragrance that I'm used to.Always elicits very approving remarks, from female acquaintances.Highly recommended, so purchase with confidence.

Probably my favorite EDT of all time...I first bought a bottle in the mid 90's and loved right away..i used it all through the 90's in my early 20's..i still have a bottle now..IMO it's the best Ralph Lauren fragance for men..well worth the price tag..

I did try already all POLO Men Perfume and this one the best one, very sexy, seductive, beautiful, amazing, awesome, charming, charismatic and unique. The best classic ever made and any men love a high quality scent then this is what you looking for.

To me, definitely the best fragrance I have used, also the longest lasting, I love it, so do the comments I get from people who have noticed the fragrance and asked for the name, not cheap but excellent value for the money.

Excellent aftershave very long lasting.My girlfriend loves the smell of it.I love it also.I have been useing it for many years.It draws lots of compliments from different people.I will defenetly keep on buying it.

Been waiting for a great deal on this and boom when it rolled around I snapped it up and naturally came the next day. Very strong and masculine smell I would say so dont splash it on like Del Boy splashing on Brut

I used to wear this aftershave nearly 30 years ago and I loved it was my favourite, but as we do try different ones but decided to try it again and feel in love with it again will definitely buying more

This is my anthem. Polo green is like a second skin on me. The smell of this fragrance is so frightenely deep, rich and luxurious i hardly ever go anywhere without it.Solid to the core!!!

My husband loves this aftershave, and gets lots of lovely comments about it. Good price and arrived in time for Christmas, despite me initially forgetting to buy it until the last minute.

Grand masculine fragrance unlike some the aftershaves of today, A classic in my view, mysteriously woody and mossy, wonderful, marvellous. Best one of the colours for me.
