Purchased these pack of 50 black biros from Q Connect for £2.99, and can honestly say that these are great! They work instantly; no need to shake/scrape the pen to start/getting it to work. They are smooth to write with, however they have recently been coming out with small ink splodges on paper as i write with them, but maybe that's just because i have had them for a little while and the ink as probably started to slightly thicken up. And can i just mention that they are a lot cheaper than the original Bic branded black biro pens out there in supermarkets/stores, but these work just as good, if not better, as the ink is darker, and more dominant than Bic biro pens,

Probably the BEST pens on the market in this price range. Pens need to write well, consistently and with comfort. These do that (especially the black ink ones - they are the best and I bought all four colours (black, blue, red, green - *duh*) - must mention the ink smoothness NOT the same for the different colours though - again, black is best, dark, smooth, then comes blue, the red is a nice dark red (not tomato red) and in the tail comes the green which is rather light and one has to press hard, relatively speaking, to get the ink on the paper. The other thing is that the caps fit poorly on the tops when writing - they are always falling off. But the ink doesn't dry up or anything if you don't have a cap.

Firstly, the pens. Brilliant. Lightweight yet well constructed, and a nice grip for the fingers. Seldom any writing problems, and the ballpoint flows smoothly across the paper. I have been using these for months now, I can't fault them.Now to the reason I wrote this review. The boxes these pens come in (as per product images) looked like they'd taken a beating during postal transit. Either that or they took a tumble off the white cliffs of Dover. I cant recall the seller in particular I purchased these from, but please be advised there's only so much protection an A4 sized jiffy bag can offer and here it hardly cuts it. No pens were harmed in the process (thankfully),

The item arrived very quickly. There are 50 pens in the box in total, and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality. I have not had any problems with stiff lids or with the ink drying out quickly, as per some reviewers' comments. The pens are, admittedly, a little scratchy, but for the grand total of £4.39 for 50 pens, I am more than happy with the quality. The colour is a nice green, not too light nor too dark. They are the perfect pens to use for classroom activities. I will be buying some more if (or should I say when!) they are lost or 'accidentally' taken by my students!

Love this pack the pen's are good quality a little thicker than your average ball point but still comfortable to hold they last for ages if you remember to keep the lid on, excellent box size so don't have to worry about finding pen's anymore nobody can loose 50 pen's, price is a steal at current rate on amazon don't see why wouldn't by these perfect for school, office use, just handy around the house.Recommend this product highly, if looking for thinner pen's these are slightly thicker so maybe not useful for young children.Thanks for reading hope the review helps

Good pens for the price, I just wanted a cheap box of pens to put on my desk as I am a pen snob and I get fed up with people borrowing my nice pens and then never returning them, I don't have a mont blanc but I do like a good pen. So I picked up some cheap black pens and they have been great, I will definitely be buying them again as its stopped the filtching of my good ones and everyone has commented on what good writers they are. Well worth the price.

These are phenomenally good. Especially at the price. Comfortable to hold. They don't have that horrible rubber grip you get on a lot of pens these days, so you feel more connected to your writing. Hexagonal shaft thats comfortable to hold. The ink flow is utterly smooth and even. Far superior to expensive gel ink pens from Papermate. Recommended for sure

These are great pens for the money. they have a smooth writing action and the ink flows freely without being messy, I thought that these pens would be ok for the job but inf act they are excellent. I would definitely buy these again without hesitation.I used these pens on a daily basis and they are much better than other budget biros that are out there

HiI was a little worried reading some of the reviews, but then I thought I dont care if the ink is a bit purple in colour, but I was pleasantly surprised. They are a clear black ink, they write well and they have a smooth flow and nice feel. I will definitely buy them again (although it could be a while as there are 50 in the box!). Go buy some.

Bought these as I lose pens like there is no tomorrow and refuse to buy expensive pens, so bought these thinking they would be poor quality and not up to much, but these are up there with the best biro's ive ever used.Really cheap but really good quality, and also arrived very quickly after ordering!

Holy mother of Mary these pens are so good! it took one a while to run out, and, who knows? You might get extra ? Good pens for a very good price, you aren't going to get something like this for this price in the shops, well done Q connect, will be buying again- if these pens ever run out ofCourse!

Bought these for my wife who is training to be a teacher. She needed it because one of her training schools has no resources for the kids. The kids come from challenging backgrounds and different colour pens can be an issue. They work well and the price was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

I bought this box of pens for my son so he had plenty of pens for exams (even allowing for losing them each time!!). They are very good value for the number and speedy delivery with Prime. Obviously not the same quality as expensive pens but certainly perfectly good for everyday use. Recommended

Good quality pens. My only disappointment/surprise was that the product is described as a PACK of 50 pens, but came as 50 individual pens loosely placed into a padded envelope. I was expecting them to be in a box or packet of some sort. The tops had come off a few, but there was no damage.

The only downside to these pens is that they never remain in the same place you left them. I guess I should have brought extra for my colleagues as they all have one or more of my pens they are that good : )5* pens they do exactly what a pen should do. Thanks
