This is a fantastic, fun play-doh set which combines the fun of playing kitchen or cook and playing with play dough modelling clay, the creations which can be easily produced with the mold, press (which is a pseudo-waffle iron) and pseudo-kitchen implements are all breakfast themed and there are great ideas for what to make pictured on the box and included on cards. These include breakfast bagels, bacon strips, waffles, deserts. The play dough is provided in small, air tight tub boxes which can ensure that the dough remains plyable and does not dry out and crack becoming useless, the tubes are all colour co-ordinated too, which is great for any children who take good care of their play dough and dont allow it all to mixed becoming a greyish monotone mess. The different colours are all which are needed to produce the fantastic different artificial play breakfast foods, ie red and white for bacon strips.I have seen a few examples of the Play-Doh kitchen range, including a fun kitchen oven kit which when plungers are depressed gives the impression of "food" in the molds "rising" like actual food being baked, this breakfast set is just as much fun and will allow any imaginative child (or parent playing breakfast cook with their child) create and have fun with it. One of my brother's when he was very young asked for play-doh specifically one Christmas, reviewing this kit reminded me of this and how much fun play-doh is for anyone in their earlier years. Recommended.

My review is for the Kitchen Creations Breakfast Bakery set as there are currently a couple of different sets sharing the same product page at the time of writing this review.Like many other children my children love Play Doh and it is one of those toys that most children seem to love.At the time of writing this review the set is currently just under twelve pound which I think represents really good value for what it contains:-1 x Breakfast Waffle Maker252g of Play Doh over 4 small pots and 2 very small pots3 x Recipe Creation Cards which each have 2 creations per card2 x Plates which have moulds on their underneaths for a bagel, bacon slice and sausage1 x Round Cutter1 x Triangle Cutter1 x Fork1 x Knife1 x Roller1 x Tongs1 x Syrup Bottle which has 4 changeable mould shapes to squeeze Play Doh throughThe creation cards are a really good idea and show how to make 6 different recipe designs such as croissants or cream pie and I really like that this has been included as my children found these very easy to follow. The waffle maker has moulds on the top of it for strawberries, blueberries, nuts, cherries etc and inside it has a further middle mould to separate moulds for waffles, pancakes, more fruit, toast and eggs. This is a brilliant set and I love that Play Doh have given it so much value by using the bottom of the plates as further moulds for sausages, bacon and a bagel too which is very clever and my children love this set.

This is such a fun set – children (this set is aimed at age 5+) can create all sorts of yummy breakfasts. The set comes with a Waffle Maker, but you can also create toasts, pancakes and more in this. I love the way that Play-Doh use every available surface to add little moulds into the lid, so you can make fruits and toppings. There are even moulds in the bottom of the two plates, so you can add bacon, sausages and eggs to the breakfast repertoire. There is a syrup bottle, which can you can use to squirt out pretend syrup or whipped cream. There is a tub of Play Doh Plus, which is softer than the usual Play Doh and you get 5 tubs of normal Play-Doh, with two being fairly small, but enabling you to have colours, such as blue for the blueberries, along with the browns and yellows. You also get a circle and a triangle cutter, 3 creation cards, to show how to rummage up a good breakfast, 2 plates, a fork and knife, a roller and a pair of tongs.Unless your child is very careful, invariably Play-Doh ends up as a sludgy mess. However, it is fairly cheap to replace and the plastic moulds, and play pieces, are easily cleaned and kept. This is fantastic for imaginative play, has a good range of moulds and accessories, with every piece of the set utilised, and a good array of colours in the Play-Doh, as well as the extra soft Play-Doh Plus, which is easier to pipe from the syrup bottle. Always a hit with children and fantastic play value.

This Play-doh breakfast kit is surprisingly good. The box comes with numerous play doh pots - dark brown, light brown, white, red, blue and yellow. On top of this there are numerous different items that can be used to make breakfast items. A few of the moulds double up as a plate which is a nice touch although I used a plastic plate to be able to use all the moulds.Kids will inevitably mix up all the colours after a while but before they do, you can make some really good looking food with this. From bagels to sausages right through to eggs and toast, here's a surprising amount of variation on offer here with the items available. The set also comes with a few bits of card that show some pictures of food and suggested foods to try and make which was a nice touch. Whilst it is a little disappointing that there isn't much play-doh - some of the pots are admittedly small making it difficult to make the larger items like bread and eggs - its still a fun pack and one that kids will surely love. Might be worth doubling this up with more play-doh from another set to get the maximum amount of play time for the kids but otherwise, this is a very good set and well worth the money.

As an adult I hate this stuff because no matter what precautions I take it still finds its way into our carpets!. However, as a parent I think it's really very very good. My seven year old daughter has been making all sorts of breakfast-themed meals for the last couple of weeks and she's still going strong! I do like that the kit is all self contained and nothing extra is required. The design of the waffle maker is really well thought out and the doh releases easily from the moulds and the whole kit is fairly easy to clean (which is nice!).As with all Play-doh just make sure that a few spare pots are available because despite everyone's best efforts to keep the colours apart and back in thecorrect tubs it somehow always ends up as a brown mess.

This is a fantastic play set,and very reasonably priced. You get a waffle maker and 6 small tubs of Play-Doh,1 of which is Play-Doh Plus, the soft kind which is easy to pipe. There's also lots of other stuff to make the perfect breakfast; a syrup bottle which also squeezes out fluffy topping, tongs, cutters, plates and cutlery, and 3 Creation Cards that show a finished breakfast and the steps needed to create it.This set really will deliver hours of fun; my 6 year old granddaughters love nothing better than to serve me up pretend breakfast, and they never get tired of making stuff out of Play-Doh, so this is going to get lots of use!

We got this out on a rainy afternoon with our little visitors aged 7 and three and a half. It kept them amused while the adults chatted over tea and biscuits and joined in ad hoc. The main piece of kit has numerous moulds for making waffles and slices, toast and pancakes. Also fruit and decorative toppings. Blueberries, pineapple wedges, raspberries, strawberries etc which can be presented on the small plate provided. A very worthwhile toy for creative and imaginitive play. Small pots of play-doh in suitable colours are also provided and extra sizes and colours can be cheaply purchased as add ons. Definitely a keeper for us.

The kids loved this! We used it in a bakery role play and they had a great time making waffles and treats. I was surprised how small the playdough tubs that came with it were and whilst there is enough playdough to make the treats if you have several children playing you'll need to supplement the amount of dough you have.I was initially intrigued by the new soft stuff white dough to be the cream but it wasn't that different too normal playdough, just slightly softer, it still needed a bit of elbow grease to push through the cream dispenser. It is all good quality and any playdough fan will enjoy creating with it.

At around £11 this is a good value play-doh set. It comes with 4 small, plus two teeny, tubs of play-doh, and tools to make some fancy breakfast "dishes" (with a rather American bias!) The waffle maker is very versatile, making many different shapes. There are moulds and press print tools, and the favourite with our grandchildren was the "sauce" squeezer. Tongs, fork, spoon and roller complete the set, and recipe cards give some ideas for what to make. After a while of course the play-doh will get mixed up, so enjoy the results whilst the colours are fresh and new.

I don’t know with play doh sometimes - they have a gadget for everything and seem to forget the imagination aspect - but still, it’s a an okay set with lots of little bits and pieces for kitchen imagine play. You get a few small tubs as well with the set.The issue i have is that my child - and no child i’ve seen - actually creates the things they think they will - it all gets mashed together to create a uniformly coloured blob!So still four stars as if your child really happens to want additional kitchen utensils, it’s perfectly fine - but it’s not essential.

My kids love Play-doh - I used to love it until I was picking it out of the carpet. However, I have relented and let them have it if they promise to play at the table! This set is brilliant for making sure they stay there as it is a breakfast cooking set and so my son has set up a cafe! Everything on the front of the box is included in the set (waffle iron, utensils etc) and obviously the Play-doh. This is a really nice gift for anyone that loves Play-doh.

Comes with 6 little pots of doh including one of play doh plus which is a bit softer and stickier than the original. It fits better in some of the more intricate moulds and is easier to extrude. We are careful not to get it mixed with the ordinary stuff. The waffle maker and sandwich maker feel quite sturdy. Our 3 year old has a lot of fun with this set. There are sort of recipe cards as well which give ideas how to make croissants and things.

This is a very good value play-doh set.My daughter is mad for play-doh and she was very happy when this set arrived. It comes with six different colours play-doh and all of the accessories needed for this one.My daughter has not stopped making me "breakfast" for days. I have a feeling it will continue throughout the weekend :)These sets keep both my kids busy for hours and £11 is an amazing price for those quiet afternoons.Well worth it.

This is a superb Play-Doh set aimed at kids who are into pretend play. My 7 year old loves making me pretend breakfast and would spent ages perfecting her waffles. The playdoh provided in the set is super soft, so easy to pipe. The set is extremely well packaged, hence great if you are buying it as a present. Value for money- outstanding! Of course after awhile you will need to replace the palydoh once it all gets mixed into one colour.
