This was purchased for a birthday present and it’s not his birthday yet but, his mum had one when she was a child and we got quite a lot of enjoyment out of playing with it. At Christmas she mentioned how much she liked it as a child but did not get Santa to bring one, so I decided I would get it as an extra birthday present as he wants a farm which I also purchased from you. I am not going to review it yet because the box is sealed and have not seen any of it. Come his birthday in 3 weeks I will review it, although I know he is going to love it as he was disappointed did not get one at Christmas but he asked for so many expensive things.

If you remember the Play-Doh barbers shop, where you put Doh into the man then you pumped it out causing his hair and beard to grow, much like me in lockdown. Not so much on the head though!You get out if the box electric buzzer clippers (requires 2 x AAA), 2 x character heads, plastic razor, scissors, brush, 5 x tubs of Play-Doh (net weight 10 oz /280g).I fully recommend this for great role play with Play-Doh not using me or their big sister as models. My only gripe is the clean up, as when cutting / shaving the Doh goes into tiny bits and every nook n cranny! But that's the same with all Play-Doh ennit?

Bought at the start of lockdown to entertain a 2 year old and it’s still going strong!Lovely little set with a couple of main head moulds and you can also make extra patterns from moulds around the chair and base.However on the negative side the razor noise is intermittent, sometimes it works when it touches the play dough and sometimes not. Fortunately my little one makes the noise himself!Also beware play dough is messy anyway but this one is another level of mess with all the “hair”!I would still recommend as it keeps my boy occupied for a bit at least.

The kids love playing with it. Load the characters with playdough, turn the crank and thier hair grows! There are also moulds all over the play set so you can make accessorys for the characters. My only gripe is that playdough can get stuck in the lift, I just used a toothpick to dislodge it (keeping it away from the kids of course!) also it makes a really loud click when you hit the max hight if the lift that pushes the playdough that always makes my kids jump.

If your kids love play doh then they will love this. My two year old plays with it for ages! It does however need a grown up nearby to assist getting the lady or gent onto the chair as that’s quite tricky for little ones but perhaps an older child would quickly pick it up. I don’t mind sitting with my two year old whilst he plays with this set however as it is quite therapeutic watching the hair grown and collecting all the offcuts of play doh.

Thought this would be the ideal gift for my 8 year old whilst we are in lockdown at home and no hair salons are open! It’s a fantastic set that is keeping her occupied for hours. Not only are the play doh people getting hair cuts but she is pretending to give all her dolls and soft toys buzz cuts. Brilliant! Great gift for 4-10 year olds. And a set that sparks imagination...

Nice play doh set, lovely toy. Really cool idea and son loves it. But The clippers just make a buzz sound they don’t actually do anything though. Don’t pay £17.99 though, it’s not worth that in my opinion. Try to find it cheaper elsewhere. It was on sale for around £11.50 I think when I got it which is fair.

I bought this Play-Doh bars and cart in June and ended up giving it as a present in December 2020 unfortunately it’s missing the two heads and the stand. So annoying! Obviously someone had ordered it and returned it after taking the bits out. So I can’t tell you if this game is any good.

Hours of fun for my two children (4 &1)My one year old can handle this perfectly and she loves it!Slightly messy to clear up the strands of playdough but who cares when the children are happy!! Another part of role play - clean up all the playdough hair like the hairdressers

Amazing product, speedily received. My daughter has played with this all day today, strengthening the muscles in her hands, developing her fine motor skills and learning about colours and colour mixing. Great for encouraging vocabulary and imaginative play, too! Thanks.

Bought this for my 5 year old son as something to do when we ran out of other ideas. Safe to say he really enjoyed this set and spent a good hour or two laughing his head off and creating different hair styles and then cutting it all off again. Highly recommend :)

My little boy got this for his 3rd birthday this week and loves it. It’s a great toy. Only negative is the chair needs to be held still while he cuts and plays with it. Could really for with some suction pads at the base then I would rate it a 5/5!

Fantastic set. Good range of colours and moulds. The razor is amazing! It only works if the razor pins are in contact with playdoh which then creates a buzzing sound. It makes it feel like shaving without any danger or buttons.

My 4 year old has been after this for a while off of the adverts on TV, it hasn't disappointed, we got it for him for his 4th birthday and he has barely stopped playing with it, it's a definite favourite. Well worth the money.

It is exactly like the images on the box show. Bought as a gift for a 5 year old boy. He loves it. Bit fiddly to clear out the bits of play d’oh left in the hair holes. Winding up the chair and cutting the hair is great fun.
