This review is for the 0.25 pen Extra Fine Gel Pen.The barrel is very slim, slimmer than most of the pens around and is lightweight. I feel "dainty" when writing with this pen so anyone with large hands and/or fingers might not be comfortable with these pens and I could envision some hand cramping.I love the metal tip. Many nice Extra Fine point pens have a fiber or porous tip and though they write lovely, I tend to be a bit hard on them and have to be careful I don't "squish" the tip. These hold up nicely whether I press hard or softly. Keep in mind, these are extra fine points and they do lay down a very, very fine line.The ink flows nicely from the start and has improved over use.

These are great extra fine pens. I use them primarily to spice up the color on letters I write, so I use them a lot in short bursts. I enjoy the fine tip, but because I am not used to it, I occasionally get thrown off by it, which is just writing like I have a different pen in my hand. However, the grip is slender, which is a good reminder of the fine-ness. I also wouldn't call them "strikingly bright" but they are bright. The lighter colors (pink, orange and light blue) can look weird on yellow legal pads. They are still legible, but a bit of a strain on your eyes. The way I write, I have never had issues with the tips getting gunked up. That may be because my use is not constant.

I am no pen connoisseur, I am however critical of the overall quality of my writing implements. Regardless of the way these pens may appear, they perform admirably.Others have complained that these pens create an indentation or even tear through parchment due to the .25 mm ball. I have yet to experience such a mishap.If you find yourself in the conundrum of whether or not to purchase these fine pens, delay no longer. I applaud these pens and recommend them to all.

Simple design, looks like kids coloring pens... HOWEVER... These are probably the best pens that I have ever found, in my lifetime. The tip is the finest point that I've ever seen. The ink is excellent. The lines are the smallest possible, the ink dries quickly and does not smear, I could go on and on about how super these are and how well they work. If you need a pen or pens that write small, clear, clean -- These are them. Worth every penny!

These pens are AWESOME and totally worth the $$. It's SO hard to find really fine point pens that write well but these do the job and they come in cool colors. They write very smoothly and don't leave gaps and they don't seem to dry up. You do need to keep them capped when you're not using them though. The tip is super fine and I will get these again once my are gone. I highly recommend these if you like really fine pens.

I would highly recommend these pens for students. They are extremely liked for their variety of colors, long lasting ink, but mostly for the extremely fine tip (0.25mm), which enables to fit a large amount of material legibly without smearing on a sheet of paper or note card. One complaint was received that after dropping a pen, it would no longer write. However, the pros vastly outweigh the delicateness of the pens.

The colors are pretty and I like them. The .25 mm was what I was looking for. The thin line does not intrude on the sentence above or below. If anyone needs small lines in marking books this is the pen. The different colors keep the looking for that one phase easy to find also. I will get another package as soon as these empty. You must lay the pens down flat, never set them up and down or straight up in a holder.

These are really really fine pens, I should've read the description a little more since I am not a big fan of extra fine pens. On that note, the pens do write extremely fine but the ink flow is good they don't skip and even though they are super fine point the pen won't tear or bleed through the paper. Pens arrived on time and as described. If your a lover of extra fine writing then this is the pen for you.

I love fine point pens for use in my personal and pocket planner which leaves little space to write. These pens are PERFECT! the super fine point allows me to write tiny with ease. However, sometimes the ink will dry while I'm wring but it's no biggie really. I've already ordered a back up set in case they somehow disappear like so many other things I've liked in the past and can't find anymore.

Love these pens. They don't skip while writing, which is a problem I often run into being a lefty. The lines are consistent and fine. I have had the issue where one of the pens that came in the set didn't work at all, but I was too eager to use them all and didn't want to bother with the return process so I threw that one away and kept using the others. I've re-bought these a number of times.

These are great for people like me who like to give their art very detailed, very dense texture to their pieces. I do not use them for note-taking so I have no idea whether or not they'd be reliable, but for what I do, they are great. The colors are beautiful, and the pen shape is comfortable for long hours of use.Overall, great pens, and I love the colors available given the tip size.

I love the way pens write and how they are so clean (as opposed to crayon or pencil) and I wanted something to mark my scriptures with that wouldn't bleed through the paper and would be fine enough to write more than a sentence. My friend told me about these pens and I searched for them on Amazon. I LOVE them.. they are magical. And suit my purpose for them perfectly!

The Pentel Art Slicci .25mm extra fine gel pen has been the best set of pens I have ever bought. I use these pens to write in small spaces of my Reference Bible (Rbi-8) when doing research. The pens write very smoothly. The ink does not smear or bleed through the thin pages of my Bible. I would recommend these pens to all real students of the Bible. :-)

The Slicci are slender pens with a very small nib. The colors are pretty good but the lightest ones are difficult to see. The cap fits snugly on both ends so you don't have to worry about a dried out pen. Don't waste your money if you press very hard when you write or you write very fast. This pen, as with all extra-fine pens, likes a smooth paper.

These are the best pens I have ever used - and one could say that I have a pen obsession. Usually, I use muji hexagonal pens for my notes, but was devastated when they were discontinued. Now there is no need to be sad because I found an even better pen!Thank you pentel!!(except for the light blue, which is a little too faint in my opinion)
