An incredible piece of equipment that I had to buy from another company as Amazon did not have stock when I needed it. I have used the converter on both the DA*300mm f4 and DFA 100mm f2.8 lenses and the results are truly amazing. In both cases the results are far superior when the converter is used than simply enlarging the photo taken with the main lens on it's own. To my eyes there does not appear to be any loss of detail at all. If you can afford to buy it and have good quality lenses to put it on, then don't hesitate, as it focuses and works just as well as the main lens by itself. It may have taken some time to materialise, but well done Pentax, you have produced a fantastic converter.

This is in my opinion is a must have accessory for any Pentax user who needs that extra reach with their glass, whether it be for sports, wildlife or macro. Build quality is excellent and incorporates both SDM (silent focus) and old fashioned screw drive and as an added bonus its weather sealed as well (With appropriate lens and body) and it works well as I've used it in the pouring rain without any problems whatsoever, I was the one that suffered but that's a different story The only downside is a loss of one stop of light and focusing issues with lenses slower than F4.All in all worth every penny.Matt.

All my sigma lenses work fully with this converter, lens focus and stabilizer. Sigma lenses are 17- 50, 70 -300, 150- 500. tested on K5 K5 II and K3. This is one of Pentax best, worth every penny. Pictures are very good even at full aperture, full zoom.

The converter arrived on time and well packed via Royal Mail.All the functions of the excellent Pentax system are supported and it gives an increased reach with my 300mm Pentax lens.

Does the job well with Pentax lens. It leaves my Sigma lenses hunting for focus, which is a bit of a pain

This converter works well with all my Sigma and Pentax lenses. It is a bit expensive but worth the money!

Excellent converter giving sharp images even at maximum resolution and still bright in the veiwfinder
