As a wedding registrar, I need my pen to be good value, comfortable, reliable, have a good ink flow and write nicely. This is a left/right handed pen - as a lefty, the grip is important for me. I'm not blown away by the one on this pen as the triangular design continues into the barrel and isn't that comfortable.When removing the lid, it may sound silly, but it's not easily identifiable which is the lid (when you're not paying attention and maybe reading something else) - there are no clips on the lid like most other pens.The ink flows brilliantly and I've had no problems with the converter. The nib is medium with a flat tip.
