The first Paper Mate pen was introduced in 1949This is a great set of 2-in-1 pens ... a ball point pen and a touch screen stylus. These Inkjoy Stylus Ball Pens from Paper Mate have a medium (1 mm) tip and are a 'joy' to write with. They are a clever design enabling you to write on both paper and digital touch screen. The pens come sealed on a card. The Box Contains:Four Inkjoy 2-in-1 pens with a touch screen stylus.Four pens, four colours ... blue, green, pink and purple. These Inkjoy Stylus Pens also include a soft tip in a matching colour for writing on touch screens whether a mobile phone or tablet. The pens are triangular in shape which allows for a more comfortable writing position.I have been using various 'Inkjoy'pens since they first appeared on the market and now I have tried this set of colourful pens with the added benefit of a touch screen stylus, I am even more impressed with the brand and the range. Paper Mate Inkjoy Stylus Ball Pens write extremely smoothly without a hint of dragging on the paper. The colours are bright, the lines are crisp and the ink colours look good on white paper. I mainly use these colourful Inkjoy pens to mark various passages in books and I also use them to mark recipes that I want to try from different cookery books. We are a large family of eight and I also use these colourful Inkjoy Pens to add events, appointments etc. onto our family calendar, the appointments stand out and it is easy for our children to look up appintments pertaining to them.

The main purpose of a pen, whatever its other features, is to write with and these pens are a delight for that. The ink runs out smoothly and glides easily - no blots or stutters. The pens are easy to hold given the triangular shape and are nice and sturdy. In the set of four which I had we have an unusual blue colour, a purple and a pink - all of these wrote in exactly the colour shown on the outside of the pen. I was less pleased with the green which I thought was too light to be read easily on white paper which was a pity. Each pen has a substantial top which fits well and has a clip to allow the pen to be attached to a notebook or file - this seemed better than average to me.At the other end of the pen is a soft nub which is used as a stylus on mobile phones or tablets. This worked very well on my phone. I found it more accurate than my finger and it seemed to work well with my phone. I do think that if you keep these pens knocking about in the bottom of a bag or something the stylus will eventually get grubby and I wouldn't them want to drag it over a screen in case it marked it - you could, however, prevent this by keeping these pens in a container or drawer.Would make an ideal present for someone just starting school or college. A bit unusual but really practical.

The four supplied colours are (approximately) purple, light green, turquoise and fuchsia pink. All the colours show up well on white paper, and the writing experience is similar to a ball pen with liquid ink. There is plenty of ink in each pen, though none of the colours is going to be your first choice for prolonged writing - they're better for annotating documents or marking schoolwork. The pens' barrels are triangular in section and slightly thicker than a standard ballpoint pen, making them comfortable to hold. The pen lid is of the removable type and incorporates a pocket clip. The lid is also vented to prevent it being a choking hazard. At the opposite end of the pen to the nib is the soft rubber stylus for using with touch-screen devices. While its design doesn't incorporate well with the rest of the pen - it looks very much like an afterthought - it does function well, making a positive connection with the screen of your chosen device. The only downside I can see (assuming the colours take your fancy) is that the price is higher than I'd normally be comfortable paying for 4 ballpoint pens.

I would have liked a classic black and a definitive bold red colour, but this set is more funky and it contains a brilliant blue, a silky green, an exciting purple and a vibrant pink – it is a funpack with colours shining through transparent stems. The pens all perform in the expected manner of the Paper Mate quality brand with smooth sharp lines and easy flow ink with no dragging or blotching. The pens have a triangular cross-section and are comfortable to grip securely, and in addition to the ballpoint there is a rubbery stylus tip at the opposite end to use with touch screens, and there is a protective cap with clip for holding upright in pockets. The pens are handy when using my iPad at the same time as making notes. From the Amazon product page I understand that the same Paper Mate pen is available on its own in black at only a few pence less than individual items of the 4-pack. I’m about to place an order, which can be fulfilled via Amazon’s Add-on service.

I've used Inkjoy pens for a while and enjoy doing so: the writing feel is halfway between a good ballpoint pen and a roller ball. There's nothing worse than a scratchy ballpoint that drags the paper and Inkjoy pens are the opposite, giving a smooth and pleasurable writing action on the page. They're the sort of pen where you want to keep writing and writing (or doodling) just for the pleasure of the ink coming out of the pen smoothly.I also like all four colours - turquoise, fuschia pink, pea green and purple - though that'll be a personal choice. There is plenty of ink in each pen so they're not going to be running out any time soon. The pen is thicker than your average ballpoint pen and feels good in the hand - a well-weighted but lightweight pen.I'd not come across this variation before, which includes a stylus on the end of the pen for use with touchscreen devices. Please note the stylus doesn't work with Apple devices.

This is a pack of four ballpoint pens, which come in green, blue, pink and purple - like the whole Inkjoy range, the selling point of these pens is that the ink flows smoothly right away, no scribbling on a spare scrap of paper until the ink comes through. They do indeed flow beautifully from the moment you start to use them, and the colours are bright and vibrant. The added bonus of these pens is that the feature a wee stylus on the end for using with your phone or tablet - although it won't be useful for everyone, I've found it very handy when working to be able to write notes and use the stylus to quickly and easily scroll around my (ancient and small) iPhone screen. The different colours are great for use with different subjects/headings etc, and make it easy to see which notes pertain to which subject or area. They're a very reasonable price too - can't fault them.

In this pack you get 4 brightly coloured pens - dark pink, light blue, purple and light green. The pens themselves are "Inkjoy" which means you get ink flowing with less pressure than a normal ballpoint. I don't do long periods of writing so won't benefit from them as much as someone who does. But I found them very comfortable to write with producing similar results to a decent ballpoint pen but with less pressure required when writing. At the end of each pen you have a rubber circle which can be used as a pointing device - I tried it on my iPad and it worked fine. Although I think in general I would be as happy using my finger but for some tasks, like drawing, a pen like this might be a better option.Overall a nice product. The colourful pen selection might appeal more to children or students.

I got this for my eight-year-old daughter to use. She loves to use lots of different colours to write things down for school so these were ideal to add to the set of coloured pens she already has. Also upon giving the set to her she immediately said that one of her friends had one of these so it was an immediate hit.She likes the look. She likes the feel the pen in her hand (the triangular shape really makes a difference. She loves the four colours (purple, pink, blue and green). The pen lids are soft, easy to lift off and fit back on. The pen nibs are 1mm in width so the writing is nice and fine. The other end of the pens have soft bits on them that can be used on touchscreen devices like tablets, although we still use our fingers for those. All in all you can't go wrong with these.

I bought these great value stylus pens as an add on to a prime order, and they were fantastic value. They are a very useful combination of a stylus for whichever device you have at hand, plus an Inkjoy capped pen at the other. If you haven't tried an inkjoy pen yet, you are in for a treat - and likely to only buy them in the future!Inkjoy pens are smooth rollerball pens in a variety of rich colours - obviously the standard Black, Blue, Red and Green, but also Orange, Brown, and in this set, Turquoise, Lime green, Fuchsia pink and Purple. The colours write smoothly and last a long time. I don't really use the sylus end so much, but really value it on tiny onscreen keyboards if I end up writing a screed.Cut to the chase, excellent quality at a very reasonable price.

What a novel and inexpensive idea - combine a gel pen with a smartphone/tablet stylus. Received these pens today and I am very pleased - my wife and children loved them too. Excellent pens in their own right, I really appreciate the triangular cross section grip. Very Smooth deployment of ink and the stylus is the icing on the cake. Tried these with my Nokia Lumia 1520 phablet, my Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet and my iPad Retina - response to stylus was very good but I did have to press fairly hard. The great thing about these pens is their cost - not so expensive as to mind if you lose one. For a pure stylus experience though, you can't beat the Adonit Jot Pro Fine Point Stylus!

The pens write straight from the pack, and give a good, strong line. It's rather a pity that they don't come in some sort of wallet, though, as the rather exotic colours mean that uses are rather limited - project work, rough charts, diagrams and flow charts for instance - and so it would be a way of keeping them together for use when specially needed. The body of the pen is not too thin, and the stylus end works well on touch screens. I'm not sure about using a pen and its stylus whilst engaged on a piece of work, however - it's all too easy to absently use the wrong end: the paper wouldn't suffer, but the touch screen definitely would. A nice set for specialised uses.

These are the best pens! They are a joy to write with; the ink just flows and it takes little effort to write because it is so smooth and requires so little pressure. The comfort of the pen is great too with no jaggy edges. The colours are gorgeous with bright pink, purple, lime green and turquoise. I thought the stylus thing was a bit of a gimmick until I started using it for work and I was flipping backwards and forwards from my tablet to my paper work.I absolutely love these pens and I ill definitely be buying more of them.

These feel nice in the hand, write smoothly with a good even ink flow for a neat result. The colours show up well on white paper, but as they are quite funky green, cerise , purple and blue most teachers would only really be happy for the blue to be used in school or on homework, the others being good to highlight things and make notes. The stylus works well on my phone and iPad even through my screen protectors... Though I do confess to trying to use it as a rubber on occasion!

An excellent idea, a pen and a stylus in one. Each pen writes the colour of the barrel (blue, pink, green, purple), and the ink flow is excellent, very smooth without blobbing. The stylus is the best I have used, glides along my screen perfectly and my screen responds very well to it.The unit, as either an pen or stylus, is triangular shaped and remarkably comfortable to hold. It feels well made, as you would expect from a Papermate product. Great quality and great value.

Very nice pens. Colours are bright and easy to read. Writing is smooth and the ink flows freely. I would like a pack of them in black really as the colours are no good for actually filling out forms or anything so have handed them over to my eager 8 year old daughter who is thrilled. They have a nice triangular grip which she seems to get on well with. The stylus end is a fun extra, you have to press a bit harder than with your finger but you get used to it pretty quickly.
