With our Little Man recently having turned 6 months (time really does fly - sometimes it feels like yesterday that he arrived) nappy change time was starting to become quite the challenge: wriggling, kicking and reverse-leapfrogging (yes, that's a thing) were quickly becoming the standard reptertoire of his tricks to show off when it'd be time to change his nappy. We'd been using the standard taped nappies before trying the Pampers Nappy Pants and getting those bits of velcro tape stick in the right (and comfortable) position was getting more and more difficult (have I mentioned leapfrogging?). Even though our Little Man was enjoying himself,a two minute routine nappy change started to turn into a Herculian task of getting him to stay in the right position, eventually turning into frustration for him and us!Trying the Pampers Nappy Pants for the first time was immediately an improvement: once his legs were through the leg holes (still not the easiest of tasks mind you) it was just a case of pulling up the Nappy Pants and everything just slides in the right position. We stress-tested the Nappy Pants straight away as soon enough he was bouncing up and down in his Jumperoo. A quick inspection after 20 minutes of bouncing showed no signs of the Nappy Pants sliding down, nor was there any sign of leakage (success!).After about 3 hours it was time for a Nappy change and still no signs of leakage. What's more is that it seemed more comfortable for our little guy as well as the elasticated band seems to spread the pressure more evenly as opposed to the taped Nappies where eventually the tape line would bunch up and gather around his waist (not ideal when you have a baby who suffers silent reflux!). Another win for the Nappy Pants! They are extremely easy to get off as well as you just rip the Nappy Pants along the seam on the sides. No need to slide them back off and potentially end up with baby's legs covered in half of the Nappy Pants' contents. The only thing we haven't tried yet is using them for his night-time Nappy. We currently use the night time dry ones (extra absorbent) as we tried to compare whether or not both nappies (night-time ones and Nappy Pants) have the same amount of absorbent material in them - no idea as of yet so the final test will be using them during the night. I have no doubt that they will stay in place but on a busy night (read: a minimum of 3 wakenings where our Little Man will want to have a quick snack/drink) the nappy will have to deal with a fair amount of liquid. Even the night-time nappies have the occasional leak so that's what we're expecting. In the end I'd definitely recommend Pampers Nappy Pants: the ease of slipping them on and the added comfort for Little Man are totally worth it. It has survived a Poonami without leakage and intense movement on baby's part (sliding up and down on his playmat, rolling, vigorously bouncing up and down, you name it!) without coming off. Seems like an easy choice next time we have to stock up on Little Man's nappies!

Pampers are the normal brand of nappies and pull-ups that I use on my children and we normally use their Active Fit nappies and Easy-Ups for my two little ones and so it was nice to be able to try out their new Baby Dry Pants. The Baby Dry pants are very similar to their Easy-Ups except that the waistband is a lot more elasticated and actually provides a bit of a better fit around the waist. They both have leg cuffs with an inside side wall to keep wetness and poops from spilling out and they both have a handy disposal tape on the backs for when rolling/folding the pant up after use. The new Baby Dry Pants feel slightly more flexible and are a little bit softer especially around the waist and they absorb wetness really well. For both pants you tear the sides to remove and both pants pull on like underpants/knickers so are really easy to use when out and about. Both pants have a cartoon character on the front with Dora and Diego on the front of the Easy-Ups and Rhinos or Giraffes on the front of the new Baby Dry Pants. The new Baby Dry pants have new micro pearls inside them for better absorption and as I said above they do really hold and absorb a lot of wetness. One thing I will say is that the new pants feel so much more flexible than the Easy-ups and so I think these are much better for a more active little one and I shall definitely be adding these to my future subscribe and save orders. The Baby Dry Pants come in three different sizes:Size 3 - (6-11 kg, 18-24 lbs)Size 4 - (8-15 kg, 18-33 lbs)Size 5 - (12-18 kg, 26-40 lbs)Size 6 - (16+ kg, 35+ lbs)I have added a few photos which show the packaging, the pants themselves including the inside of them (turned them inside out for two pictures) and the waistband, leg cuffs etc and finally them alongside some Pampers Easy-Ups. Hopefully these pictures may help anyone reading this review.EDIT: 26/03/2015:- Just to confirm that I have actually purchased several boxes of the size 5's for my daughter since testing the size 4's and these have been a regular part of my monthly subscribe and save order with Amazon most months. Once I tried this new version I couldn't go back to the slightly more inflexible previous design that has Dora and Diego on the front and my daughter has been so much happier and comfier in these more flexible pants. Very happy that I managed to test these and discover them:)

I really like the pampers brand and trust them to keep bottoms dry all day or night. These nappy pants are comparable with Huggies easy up pants, in that they are basically a nappy with that level of absorbency, but you put them on like pants over the legs. These have kept our little one dry over night and we have also used them on long car trips too. As we are in the process of potty training, we didn't want to put her back in nappies when she feels like such a big girl now. They haven't been so successful for us with day time potty training as we realised that she needed to feel the wetness to know she had had a wee, and these keep that right away. This means they are great when you want dryness e.g.for undisturbed sleep, but not so much for actually knowing you are wet!We have had no problems with leaks with these pants although as our little one is weeing less over night now and uses the potty for poos, neither have we with supermarket own brand ones so we couldn't comment on whether they are worth the extra price, however the amazon deal is really reasonable so I would buy again. The only thing I don't get is the tear away sides - if you tear them off you still need to put a new pair of pants on (nappy pants or real ones) so if they are wearing trousers or PJ bottoms, you may as well take the pants off over the legs. In terms of this Pampers does loose out to Huggies brand ones as these can be done up at the sides as well as taken off (a sort of Velcro type strip) whereas the pampers ones just tear off by ripping the seam, but then obviously can't go back on. The other reason Huggies score a plus point is that they come in boy/girl versions and as much as I feel gender stereotyping of nappies is ridiculous, unfortunately my 2 1/2 yr old much prefers the Huggies pretty pink princess (Disney's sleeping beauty) to the pampers cute giraffe on these multi packs, and even to the Dora the Explorer that was on a pack we purchased in a supermarket.

Although babies can seemingly rush through nappy and pull up sizes, it feels like size 4 is one that they can be stuck on for a long time as it covers so much physical size difference.  In fact you can get Pampers nappies and pull ups in the same size; one is suitable for a baby who still goes to the loo on a whim, whilst the other is best for those starting the process of potty training.  Therefore, the 'Pampers Size 4 Baby Dry Pants' are a great bridge, but do they do the job?In terms of absorbency they are very impressive, thinner than a nappy they fit more discreetly, but still able to soak up a lot of liquid matter if needed.  As these are pull up pants they were ok for liquid incidents, but not so much the other.  Pulling down the pants meant that this could easily be spread all the way down.  As these are designed more for the potty trained wannabe this is not a huge issue, but an accident can occur.  Another small issue that could have been simply solved was to have a small diagram somewhere explaining the tag that is on the back.  A minute thinking about it soon found that you pulled it so that you could wrap the dry pants up, but I did almost waste one pair trying this out. With their impressive absorbency the 'Pampers Baby Dry Pants' are a great transition for a smaller toddler, but you may have a baby that does not stay on them long.

I have always used Pampers with my 7 month old daughter and have been happy with the new baby and baby dry nappies. I was keen to try out these new pants to see how they compare to the traditional nappies.First of all I have found these are excellent for nighttime use. After having some leaks when using size 3 baby dry nappies, I tried these pants on my baby and haven't had any leaks at all, despite being on for up to 14 hours. As my daughter is now rolling during nappy changes I wondered if these would be quicker and easier to use. I didn't actually find them much quicker or easier but I imagine if you have a slightly older or more helpful baby then they would be more practical. To remove the pants, you have to rip the sides so you can't re-stick them and also I was wary about ripping them as I put them on with a wriggly baby. My daughter is at the lower end of the weight range for these pants so it might become more of a problem for larger babies or toddlers who are often pulling them up and down. The pants come with a sticky strip to aid disposal but I actually found it easier to just pop it straight into a nappy bag.Overall I will probably stay using Pampers nappies for a while yet but would recommend these if you have a slightly older toddler for quick and easy use.

Being honest, I rarely choose Pampers any more because Adli's own brand nappies are cheaper and do exactly the same job. With my first daughter (who is now four) we tried Papmers, Huggies, and supermarket own brand nappies and had varied success with all of them .I think it's always down to the child, how much they move, and how close they are to the lower or upper weight limit of the nappy.Of course, being offered a box of these nappies to try I wasn't going to say no! These are as absorbent as the adverts say, easy to put on (providing your little one isn't a wriggle-bum!) and even easier to take off and dispose of. They have sides you can simply rip through as opposed to taking them off down the legs. They also have a sticky tab you can use to wrap the used nappy up when you are ready to throw it away.It is even possible to use these nappies for a few nights in succession if you are potty training your child and they stay dry overnight in them. I think our record is three consecutive nights. After that, the thin sides get to thin to keep them on.I can't fault them but I would only buy them on special offer. Otherwise I'll stick to Adli nappies which do exactly the same thing but are cheaper.

These are pull up pants in a pretty giant packet. They are designed for the final stages of potty training when your child is about to transition into pants but you want a bit of security in case of accidents. The pull ups themselves are nice and thin which is good as it gives your child a bit more freedom to move about. Bulkier nappies are fine when they are smaller but as they start to move more thinner ones really help to allow movement more easily. As these are pull up pants they don't have tabs on the sides to release them, you have to tear the nappy, this does makes for a quick and easy removal but it does destroy the nappy so it can't be put back on again if you find your child is dry.I have found these pants to be nice and absorbent, they fit well with a nice stretch to the waistline so they fit snugly.Overall I am not a huge fan of disposable nappies due to their environmental impact and would prefer to use a brand such as Naty who make more eco disposables but these do a great job and are proving very useful. They do what they are designed to do, have not caused any nappy rash and our son seems very happy in them.

We’re gradually getting our little one used to pull ups and so far have tried own brand with great success. We’re currently only using them during the day due to a few leak moments with the own brand. At night we’re using a combination of Pampers active fit and own brand and have seen little or no difference except for the price which so far we can say the same of these pull ups.The absorbency on the own brand would appear to be a little less at first sight as there seems less to the own brand than the Pampers. However in performance we’ve not yet detected a significant enough performance advantage of the pampers to say they are worth the cost up.However the pampers are a fine product and we’ve had no major problems or accidents with them so on that we cannot fault them.Just for us personally the cost saving on the own brand nappies makes it a far better proposition. If they were a reasonable price difference then maybe we’d still plump for pampers. So as it is just a star off purely as there are cheaper equally good own brand products out there. But for the product itself 5 stars

We use Pampers brand nappies exclusively as, after extensive trialling of everything else, we have found nothing better. Currently, my 17month old daughter uses Pampers active fit nappies day and night, but I was interested to try these. We found they were not quite as absorbent as active fit, so less ideal for night time use. They were also looser fitting in the thigh, and we had a leak of a loose poo one day. However, where they are really excellent is for quicker changes of a wriggly toddler. My daughter lies still for a progressively shorter amount of time these days as she can see so many more interesting things to do than to be having her nappy changed. So she can tolerate lying down long enough to tear off this nappy at the sides, and for a quick wipe, and I can then have her back on her feet to pull up the new nappy just like pants; much more acceptable to her! They are not replacing her night time nappy, but for days out, and general daytime use, they certainly have a role for us.

For all those fumble fingered adults who find changing nappies not all that easy - your prayers are answered. Here we have a nappy that is like a pair of pants, so much easier to put on. It could be argued that leakages from disposable nappies are often due to them being put on badly. Certainly, I have been guilty of putting on nappies too loosely so that there is seepage round the edges. These nappies help to eliminate such accidents. However, I hear you say, what about taking them off, when they are filled with slightly more solid substances. Pulling them down will surely result in a disaster of epic proportions! Not so.These have been designed with tear off edges at the side so they come off in the normal way.I obviously haven't tried these myself (in spite of having visited a swimming pool recently which had a notice telling me 'Nappies must be worn at all times') but my grandson has and seems mightily content. His parents seem quite happy with them too.

When we started using these in place of standard nappies it took a few changes to get used to the idea of pulling on a nappy as opposed to wrapping it around the baby. Now it is second nature and a little faster. Whilst having sticking tabs meant you could adjust the sides to suit, I thought I would miss this, but I don't, the elasticity of the sides has done a remarkable job - not so tight that it marks the skin and not so loose that anything escapes or they fall down. There is enough elasticity to pull the waist band open to check for any light soiling (although oft-times it is pretty obvious!). Taking them off is easy, just tear down the sides and dispose of as per usual. They have been leak free so far and the baby shows no signs of distress or discomfort when wearing them. They are very absorbent and unless saturated they are surface dry against the baby, so you do have to be careful not to mistake this as a dry nappy and leave it on.

Really impressed with these baby dry pants. First impressions are they are very light and very elasticated. Pretty of room for movement for our toddler, she seems comfortable wearing them and no rubbing at the sides where other nappies fasten. They work like pull on pants, handy when you have a toddler who won't lie still on the change table these days...Our little girl has been wearing these both at night and in the day. They can withstand heavy wet nappies (after 12 hours) with no leaking. We also have not experienced leaking with soiled nappies as they are a snug fit at the back due to the elasticity. I also have not noticed any nappy rash while our daughter has been wearing these and little need for nappy rash cream.I would not hesitate to put these on my shopping list. In terms of sizing, our little girl is a size 4, probably due to move to a size 5 soon (she's 18 months) and these are currently a snug and comfortable fit.

Have a little wriggler on your hands? Nappy changing times a nightmare? Well you troubles may be over with the new pampers baby dry pants. Got these for my 20 months old as wanted to see if they were any better than the standard nappies. He is a little wriggler and it's always a game of catch or a tantrum during nappy changes. From the first use he just stood and stepped into them. I guess it helped him to feel a bit grown up like his older brother as he copies everything his 7 year old brother does. These pants are for both day and night time use. They are super thin and quite absorbent. Nice pretty designs at the front. Does not hinder his walking in any way.Has a good snug fit due to the alround stretch material at the waistline. However, does get the saggy pants look if too packed. Only experienced leaks when his bits were pointing in the wrong direction. Otherwise, a vey happy mom.

These nappies are so soft, I really liked using them for my little girl. They take a bit of getting used to when putting them on, but are really easy to remove. I loved the super soft waste band, particularly around the tummy area, but I was a bit worried that the back of the nappy didn't come up very high, which is where we get a lot of leaky nappies. They were nice and quick to use and I loved that you didn't have to spend time getting them adjusted properly with a squirming baby who keeps trying to undo the tabs on other nappies! I do like sticking a new nappy down straight away though after removing the old one, so it's in place for any accidents while you're appkying cream etc, which you can't do with the nappy pants. The main downside to these nappies is the price, although they are a premium quality, youbdo have to pay for it. Otherwise, very impressed and would be my choice.

These have proven to be a brilliant aid to potty-training for my extremely active 13 month old grandson. With my grandson also having recently discovered how to pull apart the tabs on Pampers nappies these Baby Dry pants have been worth their weight in gold. The level of absorbency is consistent with an ordinary nappy and no leakage or discomfort has been experienced at all, whether the pants have been worn during the day or even at night. With a flexible waist, the Pampers pants are easily pulled down and just as easily put on, which is a plus when out and about. This size pack of Pampers Baby Dry pants of this quality is also great value for money. Indeed,I have no negative comments to make and highly recommend them.
