Overwatch is a compellingly relevant game that still serves it's purpose since 2016, it's fast paced action and diversity of characters, maps, skins and gamemodes ensures great value for money and a fun filled entertaining game.Positives: Overwatch is a fair game that rewards constant play through the satisfaction of winning - skills vary with the different gametypes such as ones featuring escorting a payload and capture points adding variety to the experience.The game defies the norm of pay to win games and instead offers fictional skins in a loot box RNG (Random Number Game) which can either be earned easily through levelling up through gameplay or payed through through Overwatches fictionalcurrency.Overwatch others a large pallet of characters of which offer various perceptions and insght's into different gameplay stratergies - examples include a Damage character called 'Bastion', a robot that can turn into a machine gun and missile launcher, support characters - such as 'Mercy', a healer who directly can either give another character health or a damage boost and Tank characters - such as Reinhardt, a character who covers damage with a massive shield. This is briefly highlighting just three of the total 31 playable characters, all available to play with the low price.Disadvantages: Overwatch runs on Multiplayer servers and requires a fee for Xbox Live Gold, this makes necessary to in a sense constantly pay money in order to play the game as there is no offline version or even xbox gold included with the game.Overwatch also is very slow to release new game types, maps and characters which can also impact the experience especially if you've been playing for a very long time - this is arguably for the quality, which is argued to be worth it, but can leave boredom come especially after playing for a while.Overall I believe that Overwatch is a fantastic purchase for anyone into video games, it's features can encapsulate new players and if overall an enjoyable experience. My friends have played this game since release but i have never given it the chance. However, i downloaded paladins the free game and enjoyed it so i purchased this on friday just gone. I have been non stop playing it with my friends... it is just fun. Its an arena game with loads of chars to choose from that all play very different from one another.My mains are defense and attack. Every char is different and they require skill to play tbh. Some you have to get used to playing forexample the ninja called genji you have to get used to jumping, performing melee attacks, dashing, dodging, attacking, hoping to grab a kill and then escaping all within the few seconds you jump in the pit of enemies.It seems simple but it really isnt. You have to be thinking ahead of your enemies and be quick with the movements and button presses otherwise 1 secound and your dead! You have to be patiant with some chars and others you can just go full on, depending on who you choose.This game is not run and gun, you need your team without them you will not win! (I even forget this sometimes and end up going all call of duty on the enemies and i die rather quick.This game is a great purchase for anyone who doesnt enjoy run and gun games like cod. I play alot of cod and this game is a real change of pace but worth it!I only have one complaint all the chars move ultra slow and getting back to claim a check point is like watching a turtle and you find yourself jumping in the hope that you move alittle faster ?But still an amazing game i have put in at least 10 hours if not more within the space of 2 days!P.s. i see people rating 1 star cause of the edition they received. My was legendary and thats what was delivered!

Overwatch is an amazing game I already have on Xbox One and PC and I tried triple dipping. It did not disappoint. The game is already a GOAT but the ability to play portable is just lovely. Though you get a code, at least it says it directly on the box unlike some games (cough cough Spyro Reignited Trilogy) and the box is still cool to keep in ur collection. If u have a weird bias towards that for some reason, get it on the Eshop, same game and you don’t have to wait for delivery. Yes, I know Blizzard is in some trouble with Hong Kong but that doesn’t impact the game.Pros:Amazing game,Portability,Motion Controls,Cheap, cheap , cheap,Tons of cool, free skins for the Legendary Edition.Great game,On switch,already a great console,Great Game,3 month switch online (includes Tetris 99, NES and SNES games for free) and finally,Great game.Con:Download code (barely a problem)30 FPS (barely noticeable)Blizzard (barely impacts game)Long loading times (barely impacts gameplay)Sound like the good outweighed the bad.Overall, this is a good port that keeps the same graphics and game and makes up for the okay download and FPS with a ton of cool tweaks and free stuff to keep any fan enjoyed.A must buy, especially with Overwatch 2 coming too!!!!!

Pros: The game itself runs okay, feeling like a mirror to what you get on the PS4.Cons: Minor delays in loading games or your character when you load into a game. Fonts are too small.Overall: It's a good port, however I wish they had made more adjustments to be more suitable for handheld gaming. For example: larger hero galary and larger fonts on the interface & in-game UI and better aim assist for handheld, having played it on PS4 for years, you can really see how people struggle to aim on handheld mode. This port should not have been a direct port, instead have been customised specifically for handheld use. I could imagine the game being rather confusing and difficult to make out for a new player who hasn't played it before.Also I found the motion aiming disorientating so I disabled it. My conclusion is, if you have already played overwatch and want a fun less stressful overwatch on the go then I'd recommend it for the price, however if you're new to it then I'd suggest getting it on the PC, PS4 or Xbox.

I wanted to be tracer, but someone was already tracer. So I thought,’what about widow maker’ but someone was already widow maker. So then I wanted to be bastion but someone screamed, ‘NERF BASTION’. I thought she was right so what about winston. But she wanted to be winston. I guessed I’d be genji but she was already genji. Then I’d be mcree. SHE WANTED MCREE. Ordered for my son, this is the third one as the previous 2, one ended up scratched and the second seemed to get get a burn which meant the game wouldn't read at all. Both had lasted well but not looking after them and probably over-use caused the damage.Bought at a great price - comparison pricing done first against all sites and Amazon with next day delivery was the best. I do have prime and the next day it was here.Its a good game and keeps my son entertained who would be on for hours if I allowed him.

Like the box art says, no cartridge but you get a Download Card.Great game, my partner and I have a switch each so we bought 2 copies of this game and we’re constantly playing it together!You can play with bots (but you still need an online connection), control settings can be modified, voice chat is optional, and all your ’team’ mates will hide while the other team decimates you.<spoiler> The most horrifying sound in the game is the enemy shouting: “Nerf This!” </spoiler>9/10

It is a great game, very fun and easy to sink hours into. It has a good skill curve, however, it can take a long time to get into a game, ranging from one minute to even 30 minutes, depending on what mode you play. It runs well on switch but it doesn't look as good as it does on other platforms. Overall, it's a great game, if you can play it on xbox, ps4 or pc it would be better with shorter waiting times, smoother gameplay and better graphics but it is totally worth the price.

I have Overwatch on PC,but was tempted with the Switch version. Ignore the reviews this is a great port, yes it's 30 fps but you soon get use to it and does not subtract from the enjoyment. You need Switch online subscription to play and you get 3 months bundled in with the game.Even though it comes in a box...it only contains a download code...no physical cart. If you're looking for some decent FPS multiplayer fun on Switch I recommend it.

I've not been keen on multiplayer FPS games since the good ol' days of CoD MW2. I put off getting Overwatch last year for this exact reason. However I finally caved and bought it and there's not a shred of regret. It's great fun, and even more so with friends. So many characters to learn and master, kinda makes me think of a fast-paced Street Fighter/CSGO crossover. Would recommend to any fan of video games. Blizzard did a great job.

What can I say about overwatch that hasn't already been said! A great game, especially for kids who want to play first person shooters but who are too young for call of duty or battlefield. The constant updates and changes keep it interesting.The game experience is much better in docked more than handheld though, just for ease of use, the joycons aren't as easy to use when connected, and it makes aiming more difficult.

Amazing game. All the 1 star reviews are pointless you can see on picture it’s download code only. There’s not one overwatch game on switch what’s comes with a cartridge due to the game size that’s why it’s only downloadable. It also come with three month free online. Yes you can only play the game online. But it’s literally like only £4. All these people complaining are Karen’s or boomers. Get the game it brilliant.

Having heard about quality on Switch I was concerned - but it's actually very playable (have only used in handheld so far). Motion controls can be used to assist aim, if you can refine the settings to smooth. Basically good value for money - especially considering 3 months free Online.Plenty battles running at the moment.(if you are looking for a physical cartridge this is download only)

Loved this, writing from the players point of view. Know some people have problems, so I’m here to help.So if your on Xbox, go to the Microsoft store search over watch legendary edition. It should say redeemable by code. Put the code in, and, you should go to the games and apps make sure you have the disc installed, and try it out. If it doesn’t work, try refreshing the game. Hope this helps!

It's a fun game when the arcade modes, the game in my opinion is a lot better when playing with friends. The limited time modes they release are awesome. There are a lot of characters you can choose from so it's not easy to get used too straight away.When playing quick play or the competitive mode, you will have a lot of toxic team mates... so beware of that before going in.
