Bought this for my wife. It’s a classic just like Case & Sons, but just made in France. Not everything made in the USA is worthy in my opinion. By that, I mean this knife isn’t over priced, so if she loses it or breaks it, it’s only $17, not $100. Secondly, it’s a great cutter with some awesome steel. You don’t need to be a saint to sharpen it like high end super steels! A few passes on a ceramic stone and it’s back to hair popping sharp. It’s also has a neat twist lock feature to lock it open and closed. Lastly, if you use it like a knife should be used, it will last. If you use it like a pry bar or an all around camp knife you risk breaking it. If you want a classic pocket knife that you can use daily for rope,

For our family, this is a must-have tool for travel. It is extremely sharp and useful to prepare travel snacks. Well made, it has a safety mechanism where the blade attaches to the handle that easily prevents accidental opening. We use it to open rolls to make sandwiches, peel and slice fruits and veggies and on occasion is was used as an emergency scissor to cut a bandage fabric.

These are the perfect backpacking knife. Super light, well made, good steel, and sharp. They are also a bargain. Will keep buying these as I lose them.
