4/5 coz if you pay a bit more you could have a Victorinox classic SD that has a blade, file with screwdriver and top of the line scissors and still about the same size as this opinel.other flaws are: it came not very sharp and its not very safe in the pocket as the blade can open up very easily while it takes beating from your keys in the pocket and you can stab yourself in the leg or cut your fingers when reaching for the keys.it doesn't have, as all other opinels, a backbone spring to keep it closed when closed or open when open.It looks cute tho and its very good for all the small emergencies like opening packaging or letters and so and its very light.Anyway if you pay a couple more quid on amazon you can have a lot better and more functional keyring,

It's a small, very sharp knife with a thin blade (think almost razor). For cutting the sort of tiny things you'd want to cut with a keyring knife, it's extremely effective and couldn't be better for this purpose.The other reviewers who are trying to whittle Oak trunks with it need to be realistic.The other reviewers complaining about the closure mechanism need to go and buy a plastic picnic knife, with a rubberised handle for their limp, clammy hands.I recommend bringing something more substantial to a Katana fight.

I’m on my 3rd or 4th of these tiny penknives. Occasionally I’ll get over enthusiastic and try to cut something too hard and snap the blade. It’s a small knife so I should know better. While waiting for the replacement to come I realise quite how often I have use for a tiny penknife. Opening packages, peeling fruit, all sorts. These are beautiful little knives, well made and reliable if you bear in mind how thin the blade is.

The tiny No. 2 with a keyring (the No. 1 was discontinued decades ago) is ideal as a scalpel substitute for small precise cuts e.g. model making. Be sure you want this rather than something larger as it really is tiny.It has no viroloc mechanism.

I love this little knife I bought it mostly because I thought it was a neat gimmick but after having it with me for about a week I've used it nearly as often as I do my Opinel no8. Great little knife easy to use for those small every day tasks.

Very well built for a keyring, razor sharp out of the package, uk legal carry too which is always a plus I didnt buy as a gimmick always finding myself reaching for blade weather it be fishing or opening another amazon package ?

This is super sharp. I wanted something tiny to not bulk up my key chain. This is perfect. The only cons are; the price is to high for the size, and it doesn’t lock open.

A very cute little knife - not sure how useful it will be in practise but its good looking.EDIT - have used this loads, its awesome for opening letters and parcels!

Opinel are great traditional craftsmanship. These are too small to have the locking mechanism, must it would be good if they found a way!

I replaced one that had broke and bought my partner one. Great little knife to keep on your key ring love it.

A very small but razor sharp knife that I carry on my car keyring. Well made and light.
