This is a real classic knife and because of the removal of the locking mechanism makes it a great option for use in the UK. If your new to pocket knives you can't go wrong picking one of these up, if you're not be you'll already know how good these are especially for the price.The blade stock is thin which combines with the blade shape makes it a brilliant slicer. The steel is good for the price, this alox stainless version won't hold an edge as well as the carbon version (I own both versions) but this is a compromise as the blade won't stain/patina like a carbon knife.I would recommend this to anyone that needs a decent pocket knife

Sharp small and timeless, whats not to love. Bough a small whetstone to keep it hones, and the blade has not had an issue or flaw made in to even need honing. Mainly used for food prep and some carving on back county hikes so far, will update when had more usage

It’s really cute and useful for opening packages, mail and for cutting vegetables.I didn’t expect it to be this small (didn’t pay enough attention to the details) but it’s really nice and cute.It’s really sharp and easy to clean.

I like this knife as it is just the right size for my jeans pocket, and to carry around at all times in the garden, there when its needed, very sharp and ideal for slicing cuttings on the potting bench

Good tiny knife. I thing it was the locking kind. ..but I guess thats No.6 and up. So I use it in my motorcycle bag to cut food like sandwiches and fruit.

this is a friction, non locking small knife.. ideally for wood whittling and pencil sharpening size duties, nicely made, needs sharpening from new

Typical opinel, well made but simple. Need to keep it dry according to the instructions, as it will otherwise rust. Extremely sharp.

Excellent knife for not a lot of money and ok carry legal.perfect for skinning game and making fire sticks etc must have tool for uk

Very sharp, nice size, a sensible knife to carry around.The blade is thin, so time will tell how long it lasts. But I’m happy.
