This is the exact same charger that shipped with my D5100, so I knew from the off that it was going to be good. Everything I have had from Nikon to date has been a good quality product. The battery simply drops into place and you leave it for an hour or so, longer of battery is particularly flat/ the flashing LED will become steady when fully charged.I had to buy a replacement after mine fell out of my bag in my garden. I found it a few days later.....after the rain had cleared up! I wasn't going to take a chance with it so I bit the bullet and forked out for a new one, and at the current price of 33GBP it was an expensive lesson to learn.Depending on the Amazon source at the time you may get a slightly different model.

I ordered this charger from Genie Electronics to replace the original one supplied with my Nikon D3100 DSLR.Delivery was fast, I received the MH-24 charger within two days of placing my order. It is without doubt an original Nikon part and works perfectly. I feel that with a precision product like a DSLR camera it is preferable to use an original rather than third party charger. This charger differs slightly from the one that came with my camera in that it connects to the mains via a "figure of 8" mains cable rather than plugging the charging unit directly into the mains socket. This unit charges an EN-EL14 battery from flat in well under two hours and an LED indicator tells you when charging is complete.

Having moved house recently, I found myself somehow misplacing my original charger and needed to buy a new one.I chose to buy another official charger as, in the past for other electrical items I haven't, I knew that it would be the safest and most realiable charger for the occasion.The charger I bought originated from France so had the two pin plug, thankfully however, this came with an English 3 pin adaptor than slots over the top of the 2-pin plug.I am able to charge a flat battery to full charge in just under 3 hours, which is great if I know I will be going out somewhere later in the day, it means I don't have to think about it the night before!I am very impressed that the battery also keeps it's charge (something that doesn't always happen with the cheaper non-branded versions)

Bought this because I've lost mine. It works well. The only difference as compared to my previous charger (which came together with the camera when I first bought it) is that when it's fully charged, the blinking light will go off.

Received it quickly- in about 2 days and I got the original- straight in the wall pluggable charger. Not sure why some people received it with wire...

Excellent product. Very useful and frequently used.Thoroughle recommend it to anyone.Strongly made very robust.Also bought battery to go with it.

Identical replacement for a faulty unit which came with the camera. Cost was zero as the camera was still under Amazon's guarantee.

Really recommend a Nikon charger for Nikon battery. Feel more peace of mind with same branded and reliable appliances.

All the labels seems to be the same as the original one and does charge the battery for the same period.
