The QuickMist is a great stop smoking aid. I've been using it for 2 weeks now and haven't smoked a single cigarette in two weeks (including the dreaded nights on the town)There are a few off putting points when you first start to use it so I'll cover these first and get them out of the way:Cons:When you try the spray for the first couple of times you'll feel a burning sensation in your mouth, this can be compared to that of using a strong mouth wash and you instinctively want to swallow. The trick is to not swallow the solution but to move it around in your mouth with your tongue whilst breathing through your nose. This stops you from breathing in the slight vapour that is released. If you do swallow you'll probably get the hiccups for a couple of minutes. The problem I had when I first started using it was I was just treating the spray like a fresh breath spray and aiming down the throat, rather than doing this aim directly onto the tongue or on the inside of the cheek. This stops the liquid going down the throat and causing hiccups/burning. Once you get used to it the spray is a breeze to use.Pros:When you work out in cash spent it's lots cheaper than smoking 10 a day. 20 cigarettes every 2 days was costing me around £21 a week or £84 a month where as this is costing £9 in two weeks.....with more than half left. The spray device seems to last a long time for the price, I was smoking around 10 cigarettes a day and I've still got more than half after two weeks of use, this is spraying it twice on average every 2 hours which according to the instructions is the right frequency for the amount I smoked. The spray capsule itself if quite small and can be carried in your pocket along with your phone, keys, wallet ect and is the size of a mouth freshener spray, not very bulky at all. It also has a safety system which stops it from being pressed in your pocket or by children, you need to press in the button with your thumb to release the pump and then slide upwards to engage the spray nozzle. In the past I've always used electronic cigarettes with capsules and these just gave me ulcers to the point where I had a really sore mouth, I don't get any ulcers with this spray so might be good for anyone with a sensitive mouth. Conclusion:Given the fact that I've not had a cigarette for 2 weeks now and I'm saving a considerable amount of money using this spray I can honestly say I would recommend this to anyone seriously thinking about stopping smoking. The price compared to smoking and the lack of issues that I had with the E-cigs makes this a winner in my opinion. Shopping around on-line for them is a good idea also as they can be anything up to £17 in the shops/pharmacies. Give it a try and you may just get through that first week without wanting to rip someone's head off!

Ok so I've never written a review for any product I've bought off amazon but I have to for this product.I've tried a lot of things before to try to quit or at the very least cut down; patches, gum etc and they really didn't do much to stop the cravings for cigarettes. This on the other hand offers extremely quick nicotine effects which you can really feel working within a minute or two.I'm not saying this product is perfect because even though it is very effective it is also very strong if you are not used to it. When I first took a spray in my mouth it burned my throat and I felt quite sick, it is very unpleasant at first I won't deny it but the more you use it the nicer it becomes. It has a fresh minty taste once you become accustomed to it. A good tip is to spray underneath your tongue so you get slowly accustomed to it. The other notable side effect I get from time to time is hiccups! It is very annoying at times but it doesn't last long. Do NOT spray more than once in your mouth at a time (You will regret it I promise you,)I'm writing a review for this because after 5 years of regular smoking I have actually gone one month without smoking a cigarette which for me is a bloody miracle lol. I used this spray on a regular basis to help cut down but within a few weeks I didn't even feel the need to smoke. There is another point to this review. Although I have quit smoking I find myself addicted to this spray instead. I'm sure its not the same case for all people who use this spray but I find myself having this product as a replacement for cigs now and I am dependent on this. I think it will be very hard to quit this product but the way I see it I'd rather be hooked on this spray which has no harmful effects to your health rather than cigs which are. Its MUCH cheaper in the long run as well.Always buy this product on here rather than shops because its much cheaper. I can buy a two pack here for £20 while it cost me £18.99 for a pack of one in sainsbury's!Overall if you really are looking to cut down or quit then this product is one of the best things around and I would definitely recommend it though it won't be to everyone's taste as it is very strong stuff but once you get used to it, it is amazing!

I am currently on my second week of quitting. I have used this product before, but had some recent family problems, which stopped me in my tracks and caused me to start smoking again. It's very hard to quit, and I think you have to forgive yourself if you do go back to smoking as long as you are honest with yourself and seek support. I came to the resolution that there will always be some issues that give you a reason to continue smoking, so decided that i would try using Quickmist again to reduce my smoking down. From day 1 i started off with the quickmist and found that i could go the whole day without touching a cigarette. This is not a miracle product by any stretch of the imagination,as in my head i could still easily grab a cigarette, but the cravings are better controlled with this and if you couple this with the right frame of mind you are on the road to success IMHO. Couple of things to note: I use the spray twice every half an hour, and i track on paper every half hour between sprays, as I think it would be easy to spray without looking at the clock and overdoing it. This is a good plan as I've noticed I can forget to spray for up to an hour and a half (currently on Day 9 so this is good going - I averaged 15 cigarettes a day typically). The other thing is that i would recommend spraying standing up, as I regularly get hiccups, coughs or sneezes from the spray, and standing up mitigates this (not always, but it's way better than spraying whilst sitting down). Couple of advantages so far - more energy, brighter skin, whiter teeth, deeper and more refreshing sleep. I can't guarantee i will never touch a cigarette again, as I know my habits and my addictive personality. I would recommend this to people looking to quit, and those looking to reduce as you will save money this way. I have tried E-Cigs (too much like the real thing so didn't feel it was supportive), patches (horrible nightmares), and champix (which made me feel nauseous most of the day). So far this is my favourite Stop-Smoking support. For the money it's worth a try - and the best price so far on Amazon. Good Delivery - I used Super Saver and it arrived 3 days later.

I have been a smoker for at least 10 years. If you're like me you have particular moments in the day where it feels vital you need a cigarette; first thing in the morning? after eating? drinking whilst on nights out? let's cut the bull about fidgety smokers or smokers that need some 'oral fixation' when quitting smoking because the initial thing you will crave when you quit is nicotine plain and simple. I have tried quitting cold turkey to using patches and gum which didn't work. the gum tasted terrible and made my jaw ache after the first piece of the day and the patch was out of sight out of mind and it is easy to think it isn't working.Due to medical issues that make it IMPERATIVE I stop Iwas desperate to try anything - cold turkey wouldn't cut it and I decided to try nicorette quickmist spray. as reviews will state it takes a day or two to get used to whats right for you - your tongue or cheeks - never the throat! but after that you will find that the new 'fix' (as it were) is the feeling of it working almost instantly and along with the minty taste thats the action you want to feel and taste. I even took a spray of it just before my each of my college exams which was fantastic! the fix was there and it lasts. If you ever thought it won't work because you've tried every other NRT product out there don't give up yet - this does work and I can't stress that enough.the only con i have with this product is that if you're like me and like to have a cuppa with your cig or like to have a cig after drinking or eating you have to be sure you do those things before or after and not during in case you 'wash it' away. but technically I've liked this product that it's become a pleasure to look forward to even using it at points where I would look forward to a cigarette like waiting for a bus (where i would normally have many cigs as poss!) and swishing it around my cheeks as I wait! and the morning now consists of a cuppa, breakfast and a mint spray of the mist as i get ready for the day. Never been so pleased with a product to get rid of this awful addiction. :)

Almost six weeks in and I have managed to stay off cigarettes.I still get strong cravings from time to time and this does help. There are some days that are very hard and I have sprayed this 3 or 4 times in one go, this was not a good idea as it has made me light headed and feeling sick.In many reviews I had read that people had sprayed it on the inside of their cheeks, however, this I found a little awkward and tended to hold at an angle which made the liquid come out as a squirt of fluid rather than a mist.I now spray it on my tongue and keep it in my mouth for a short while. If I sprayed it to near to the back of the throat it caused me to have hiccups and it also made it feel like I had swallowed something whole, which was a very unpleasant feeling, it is worth keeping this in mind if it happens and not to panic as it does pass fairly quickly.I have been smoking over 40 years and on many occasions tried giving up without the help of nicotine replacement and struggled for nearly 10 weeks and ended up smoking again.I have noticed that although I still have cravings I am now feeling a lot more hungry and have started picking food whenever possible which on some days can be quite excessive, this is related to stopping smoking and not the quickmist. It will take will power along with the quickmist to manage the cigarette cravings. In time, I will start reducing the amount of times I use the quickmist and try to manage a lot longer without any nicotine replacement.I had up until starting the quickmist been paying out £75.00 + a week for hand rolling tobacco and now, I am spending the cost of one quickmist a week, which I think would last longer if I didn't increase the recommended amount which I do on a few occasions through out the day.Based on my experience with this product, I do highly recommend it especially if you are new to nicotine replacement, even if you are not, and have tried other nicotine replacements and not this, it really is worth trying.Thank you for reading this review if you got down this far.

Started this product several weeks ago. I was offered this by the smoking cessation nurse because I had tried various other items over the years without much luck. Like many, I do enjoy smoking. Often 2-3 when I first get-up. Usually I smoke 20 - 25 a day and have for the last 30 odd years.Six years ago I had stopped for 5-6 months by reading the Allen Carr Easy Way, that was the only time had ever been able to actually stop. Since then I had found stopping absolutely hopeless. With the cost of smoking going thru the roof, both my wife and I have tried again. She's gone on the Champix (done nothing for me in the past) and I was offered these. She stopped after 8 days on the tablets. For me,I found this spray very unpleasant and would take a little time to get use to. Therefore decided to cut down with the help of it. For 2 weeks I cut down to 10-a-day. I found that in that time I lost a lot of interest in smoking. I then cut down to 3-4 a day. Counted down my last 5 ciggys then just stopped. It just seemed so easy. Couldn't quite understand it.You have to take time getting used to it, also show some reward to yourself. We both take £40 a week pocket money that we usually spend on fags. This spray is really quite unpleasant. What surprised me was the fact that I just lost interest in smoking. After several weeks,I've found myself more and more dependant on it though, and the taste has become a lot more bearable. After reading Allen Carr years ago, I believe that to stop smoking, you need to understand your addiction a little. Get your mind prepared. Then go for it. I think they suggest you can have up 64 sprays a day with this, but I be lucky if I'm having 20-30 a day at first. Quick-mist certainly helped. A skeptic at first, I found this very easy for me to stop smoking with. No doubt, the truth to me will be in the time to come. One step at a time.

I have tried various nicotine replacement products. The only products I have not used are the inhalators and e cigarettes as I wanted to avoid the same hand to lip movement as with smoking. Nicorette quickmist is the only nicotine replacement which has actually helped me quit smoking completely. I have been using quickmist for over two years and have never relapsed back into smoking. On very rare occasions when I have tried smoking, I have found it no longer pleasurable and not as satisfying as before. If you are using this for the first time, try spraying once and wait for 5-10 minutes before trying again. The usual side effects I have noticed is hiccups which can be very annoying. When using too frequently I have also experienced mild palpitations and restlessness. In my experience and opinion this is the best nicotine replacement product to quit smoking however on the flip side, this product is as addictive or even more addictive than cigarettes. I have been struggling to get off the quickmist and had to seek support from quit smoking clinic. My advice is that if you are serious about planning on quitting then try this product in conjunction with the quit smoking services at your GP surgery. Impulsive quitting is unlikely to work and check your motivation levels before planning to quit. This product is as expensive as smoking and unlikely to save you any money in the short to medium term compared to smoking but the health benefits of quitting far outweigh any concerns you may have.I highly recommend this product if you are serious about cutting down or quitting completely.Tip: I have noticed the price of this product over two years has varied between £18 to 27 on amazon. If you are using this regularly buy a few when the price is cheap.

This will work but you need to give it a week of use to get over the initial teething problems. Lets face it, it took us a few days to get used to smoking. I've been cigarette free from about the third day of using this product and feel a whole lot better as a result. When you first start to use this product it will possibly make you feel sick and give you the hiccups if you spray it like you would do with a breath freshener. It may also make you produce a large amount of saliva, do not swallow if this happens, this is your natural reaction but at all costs avoid swallowing. It's better to spit it out. After a few tries this will stop happening as you become more accustomed to using the spray. The trick is to either aim it at the inside of your cheeks, one squirt either side, or to aim it down on your tongue and then spread it around the inside of your mouth and gums. If it hits the back of your throat you'll definitely get the hiccups for around one minute and feel very queasy. There is a burning sensation, very similar to that of an extra strong mint only stronger, this will immediately fill your mouth but dissipates after about 30 seconds. When I first started with this product I was using about 1 full spray a week and using 2 squirts at a time but I've managed to get it down to using only one squirt on my tongue and making a spray last 2 weeks. My next target is to make a spray last 3 weeks, so it should be possible to slowly wean yourself off of nicotine using this product alone. When I was smoking my first action on waking was to put the kettle on and light up to get my first hit of nicotine. Now using this alone I can go for several hours before I feel I need a nicotine hit.

I always think reviews should be about the product not the shop selling the product. So here's my review about Nicorette Mouth Spray.I was on about 10 a day and have been for 20 years. Indeed I've never actually tried to give up before. I've tried the herbal tobacco, I've tried patches, but I was never seriously trying to give up. This time was different though, in my head I felt ready and when I saw the adverts for the spray I thought that's what I need - something to give me an instant hit when I'd normally have a smoke. So I bought two packs of two. Three days in and I'm still not smoking. I don't sit there and smile when I spray - I slightly grimace because it definitely hurts the throat. But I'm not moaning because a couple of minutes later the urge to smoke dissipates enough to help my mind move on and do something else in the same way you'd do something else after you've just had a smoke. I still totally miss smoking. I still think about it a lot and feel there's something missing in my life. But the spray helps in exactly the way the adverts glamorously suggest it will. Giving up smoking however, is definitely NOT glamorous - three days in and it's still hard work. But - using this stuff eases the whole process to such a degree it's bearable. I've obviously got a long way to go, but I'm still confident in a way I never was with patches or anything else. Personally I'm on a one shot method - I've given myself a `failure is not an option' type approach. So this product will help you get there if you're feeling ready to stop. And at £8 for a packet of smokes there's never been such a good time to stop.

It's been a whole year so I can attest to whether the Quickmist works or not.Well, in 3 days I managed to quit smoking! I had my last cigarette at 8:37pm on 21st July 2014, I've saved £2800+, my lungs and heart, countless brain cells and nerves and I feel better for it!I used to smoke about 15 Marlboro Lights a day so spending £20 on this product was easy considering how expensive cigarettes had become.I'm one to easily give into cravings, especially when I'm stressed or doing some stressful work so just before I had a streesful task to do I decided to take my last cigarette and use Quickmist. (Hardcore I know!)It does help that you WANT to quit - like I did - and I quit fast.I didn't even use the second mouthspray I don't think I even used half of the first mouth spray. It's still in it's package and I've posted a photo to prove it.I had tried patches and lozenges in the past which never worked. I took this every time I thought about having a cigarette or had an urge to smoke and one spray would do something so bad to my throat (don't be a wuss), that I kicked the habit within just 3 days!As long as you're REALLY ready to quit, give this a go, and start getting healthy for yourself, your wallet and/or your family, it's amazing how much better you feel now that you don't have bad breath and people are willing to sit next to you on a bus or in the car!5 Stars for saving me thousands of pounds and hopefully will be helping me to live longer!.Updare: 21st Feb 2016. Proud to say I am still cgarette free!

I was a smoker for 6 years and if I'm honest I didn't think I would ever quit - the thought of quitting was not possible but I noticed problems with my breathing and my teeth starting to turn yellow and so I decided to give NRT a try.I tried patches which made me feel sick and didn't really take away the craving, I tried the gums which were ok but tasted foul then I tried this. When you first have it it's incredibly strong - side effects may include sick feeling and increase of saliva in mouth as well as some form of headrush. Definite effects include an extreme burning in the throat. My advice spray under the tongue rather than in your throat (TRUST ME)I will say this. The spray works and once you become accustomed to it you will love it. The taste is lovely and minty and honest to god it stops your cravings for cigarettes (not completely at the start but it does reduce the amount to begin with). I cut down using the spray before giving up cigs all together but the only downside was I became addicted to the spray!I can't stress how addictive this spray is but in the long term its better to be addicted to the spray then to carry on smoking cigs. It took me 6-7 months to give up the spray after I quit smoking and now I am cigarette and nicotine free.Long story short.. I have given up smoking and I have Quickmist to thank for it.I hope this helps anyone reading, I highly recommend you give it a try, absolutely disgusting at first but once you become used to it; it really does help reduce cravings for cigs.

I started with this spray on June 1st 2015. Since then I have bought 53 twin packs off Amazon, it clearly tells me on top left how many I have bought. Plus, some from supermarkets and a couple from local chemist. This was because Amazon shot the price up overnight and I wouldn’t buy any more till it fell, which it did. I began to think what many others say in reviews, it’s addictive. I had great trouble coming off them, as I knew I would not smoke again and wanted to, plus the darned price of them. Getting, in later years only 3–5 days with one quickmist. Time to bale out I told myself. So, after I had decided spray was habit forming only, a much easier habit to break I stopped keeping spray close to me,on kitchen table. I took it up 15 stairs and put it in a drawer in spare bedroom. Plenty of those now since kids flew the nest. Thankfully that is working well. I am now using spray only 6-8 times per day now, which I can easily reduce further. A bonus too of getting bit extra exercise up n down stairs more. Biting ones nails is habit forming, but not of course addictive, or many of the other habits one picks up. The spray I am using now has been on the go for 10 days now, with plenty liquid left in chamber. Try something like that, even leaving spray in the car, when spray is not close to keep looking at, you will soon get off these things.

I quit smoking in October 2016, it's now January 2018 and I've not had a smoke; I have every confidence that as long as I use Quickmist I won't smoke a cigarette again. In the first 6-9 months I sometimes felt the urge to smoke and sometimes it was strong but a spray from this helped.I visited the Quit smoking nurse at our GP surgery every 3-5 weeks for the first year - we experimented on what was the most effective NRT for me and, with a little persuation from me, managed to get Quickmist on NHS prescription. Over time it was clear that Quickmist was most effective. The nurse encouraged me to cut down and quit NRT completely but I'm just about resigned to being a nicotine addict for life sowill keep using this product.By way of background I smoked up to 20 per day for 35 years and have seriously tried very hard on many occasions to quit, using every single NRT available. Plus hypnosis, acupuncture, cold turkey etc. etc. etc.So I'm pretty please :)Some people get burning, hiccups, heartburn and so forth. I've found that the best way to deal with these is after a spray run the tongue around the roof of the mouse and gums and don't swallow.Good luck, folks, you owe it to yourselves to quit.

This is by far the quickest and most effective nicotine craving relief product on the market. It works within a few seconds and, psychologically, I can pretend it is merely a breathe freshener and that I have never been a smoker. Works for me! On the down side, the product can be a bit strong. It contains Hydrochloric acid and levomenthol and these can give a very strong mint sensation, even a kind of burning sensation (a bit like chillies). If you spray it into your mouth it can cause hiccups. The way I overcome both f these difficulties is to 1) Breathe in. 2) spray it under my tongue. 3) while holding my breathe, I move the taste around my mouth with my tongue. 4) slowly breathe out. 5)For the next half-dozen breaths, I breathe in through my nose and out slowly through my mouth. This technique avoids hiccups altogether and significantly reduces the sensation of burning to the level of normal strong mints which quickly fades. I find this product great for times when you cannot smoke, such as hospital, cinema or theatre. I have also managed to reduce my smoking from 40/day to less than 10. Hope to give up completely really soon.

This stuff gives you a proper, solid hit of nicotine. As other reviewers have said, don't swallow for a while (or you'll be wasting it in your stomach) and don't breath through your mouth for a few seconds (or you will get the hiccups).I was able to entirely cut out smoking when I was spraying this stuff. However I became addicted to it, and going cold turkey from this was the only way I was able to stop (roughly one year after starting on NRT). I just had no interest in reducing my use. I'd gone to the point where I was spraying it much more often than I would have been smoking, and it was seriously costing me.This product enables you to carry on thinking like a smoker, without (I hope)the health implications. In the end, the spray became too ridiculous, and I just had to stop buying it. I bought myself something else with my £17 that week, and although the first couple of weeks was tough, I don't ever think about it now, about six weeks later.I also know that if I am likely to get very tempted by smoking for some reason, I could do worse than have one of these in my pocket.
