This housing is good but depending on your useage, has a major design flaw. The housing provides controls for almost all camera functions. As the controls stand a long way proud of the body, they are very vulnerable to damage in a harsh environment and to accidental operation which might put the camera into an unwanted mode. The most extreme example is the flash control which causes the flash head to partially pop up inside the case and to fire uselessly when the shutter is operated.I use this housing for caving, surfing and kayaking. I set the camera up before the activity into program mode, a suitable ISO and RAW mode. In extreme conditions, it is simply impossible to mess around with manual mode or with the myriad of camera functions. For my usage, all I would ever need is on/off, shutter release and video control. As I shoot in RAW, I'm able to deal with lighting conditions in the Sony RAW software.Despite these criticisms, this is a great housing for the money. The housing is well made and has an excellent double lock door mechanism. The housing controls engage with the camera controls with no problems. I have taken the advice of one of the other reviewers regarding the 67mm filter as protector which is essential for extreme environments such as caves. Highly recommended.

Love this - took it to the Bahamas, great performance - treat it with respect though. The unit has a slight design flaw in the door lock mechanism, a little fragile.Snorkelled to 20 mtrs and no issues - have not dived with it yet but I have bigger cameras and housings for that. This was only intended for snorkel use. I used a bracket to counter the extra air inside giving me a very well weighted housing. The flash on the A6000 is great outside the housing but pretty useless inside this housing. I used a dive LED light to give me the extra light required for deeper water. All in all for the money it is well worth it. I would recommend to anyone on a budget.- Diving next month - will take it to 60 mrs empty first - will let you know if it implodes.... no news will be good news!!

This is a pretty good case for the price. It has buttons for everything you can adjust in the camera and it's sturdy and simple to use. There were only a few problems: a) The rotating buttons sometimes lose the grip and don't rotate b) If you let any moisture it, it's bound to create condensation. You might want to squeeze in a pack of silica gel. c) If you have to operate it with the right hand, the 'movie record' button keeps getting in the way and being pressed. When using in the sea the case floated but just to be sure I attached a floating orange strap to it. All in all I am very happy with it and took some very cool surfer pictures, from the waves.

This is s product that actually works!I took this on a trip to Thailand and used it with my a7s and it was fantastic.Very low cost, but not a drop of water entered the casing.

I am only missing neutral buoyancy, ability to adjust zoom OR ability to use physically wider lens bodies inside it.

Used it in Mexico and it was fantastic.. :)You do need to buy some silicon gel though which cost me £3 from Ebay.
