The box was neat and informative. Cool design. I pare this with my Ryzen 3600 and out of the box, works great. I putt my PATRIOT 16GB Viper 4 DDR4 3200MHz CL16 KIT in the wrong order and on the first boot, I got image message how to change positions of the modules. After that, worked great. SATA ports maybe are the only issue that I have, position could be better. But everything else is just great. Build quality is good. User manual is really informative. BIOS is really simple and informative. As a performant go, I'M graphic designer and putting my ryzen 3600 to the max work relly good. No issues at all. There's not much choice in the mATX AM4 range at the moment but this board is an excellent choice. This is ready for the R5 3600 right out of the box. I upgraded from an ITX Gigabyte board that only had 1 system fan header so the 3 provided on this board was a godsend. The heat sinks looks great, the integrated LED back light is a nice touch and it is customisable with the MSI Mystic Light software which also controls the 2 RGB headers on the mobo.The UEFI bios is great, the OC mode works perfectly and got me a stable all core 4.2ghz overclock instantly. Overall I'd highly recommend this board.

Very nice io, good heatsinks, plenty of ram. The Installed RGB is a nice touch, but needs to be difused with either masking tape or foam board. I have tested tape and it works to an extent, and am about to buy foam board (a sheet from a craft store is about £0.50) to defuse the board and strip rgb LEDs. Good build quality. My only problem was installing the io sheild, it connected to the case nicely but the metal offsets got caught in the 10gbps usb and ethernet port. I dont know if this is a common problem with io shields, but be aware.

I got this solely on the fact that Buildzoid said that this was the BEST B450 microATX board for Ryzen you can get. It has excellent VRMs which means it can support a 12 or 16 core upgrade in the future. It’s Ryzen 3000 ready out of the box and has the full featured UEFI BIOS the Max motherboards get. The rear I/O is loaded, there’s plenty of PCI Express slots, and two M.2 slots. I also love that it has BIOS flashback at this price point. I wanted this mobo bad enough to get it imported from Amazon UK. Well worth the purchase!

You can adjust the RGB backlight! Solid, good looking and upgradable motherboard. Are you wanting a 3rd gen Ryzen? Then I strongly recommend this board, it will even run a 3950X well. I've slapped a 3600 in for now whilst the prices come down of others. Benchmarks good, gaming good and looks are good. Ignore the review saying you can't change the RGB backlight, you can, just download the MSI Dragon software and you can adjust this and any compatible 12V strips you have.Aw yeah.

Cons:The socket did not entirely line up with the processor. It did not "drop in" like it should, but rocked about on some of the pins. Very worrying. In the end, in desperation, I pushed it in, and it still worked. phew.Also needed to remove the brackets off the motherboard for the processor, no big deal, but it might confuse a beginner.Pros. Lots of Fan headers. All the usual features for this level board. Bios already knew about the 3600.

Using with an AMD R5 3600.Worked out of the box!No bios update required to work with the CPU but make sure to still update it when you initially set up as this fixes any potential bugs/stability issues you could face with an out-of-the-box experience and updating bios at a later date is not recommended.Highly recommend the board even though I had an MSI board about 2 years ago (though that was for Intel)

Pros:- Loads of fan headers for matx- Good vrm cooling- MSI bios is fully featured and OC friendly- Flashed with support for Ryzen 3000 out of the boxCons:- No way to turn off or change the LED backlighing. Unless your scheme is black and red you will have to put up with it.- EZ debug LEDs are very small

Love it, best B450 motherboard, and the 2 M.2 slots are neat, although if you have a big VGA and you need a PCI slot as well, the second M.2 is a no go . Bios is understandable and clean, overclocking is brilliant. Overal temperature is great.

Very good for beginners. Huge range of functionality for the price range, overall very solid board for the price. One thing I dislike is the RGB strip on the side as it doesn’t look very nice, however it can be turned off which is good.

Very decent mb for the price, the screws on the CPU fan stand thing we're very tight and hard to unscrew and one was stuck so I had to use alot of force and different methods to unscrew it as it was worn out.

great mobo with great vrms and has a good amount of fan headers and rgb ones. it works with ryzen 3rd gen out of the box, which is great. very good amount of features and good amount of io ports

the bios has all the features you could ever want and it has all t features you could expect at this pricepoint, dropped a star due to the slightly dull LEDs on the back of the motherboard

This was a great and easy install for a budget PC build for my daughter. Fitted with Ryzen 1600 AF. easy to update the bios and works very well.
