I recently bought one of the 3 C Cell Mag-lites and I love it. It feels great in your hand, and has a light beam that is much better than my 2 D incandescent Cell Maglite, and almost as bright as my 3 D incandescent Mag.I recently bought a 3 C/D LED Maglite upgrade, and really love it. It now produces about the same beam of light as my 3 D Cell LED Maglite, and is brighter than my 2 D cell LED Mag.I love the way this flashlight feels in my hands. It is much lighter and is easier to carry than any of my D cell flashlights, and as I've said with the LED upgrade the beam of light is outstanding.I guess Maglite decided not to make a 3 C cell LED flashlight because it would take away from the two D and 3 D Cell LED Maglites,

While the Amazon price is a bit high for this flashlight, I did pick two up a year ago at HomeDepot for less than $9.00 each on a close out sale, it is still a quality flashlight. My wife likes it because of the adjustable beam and white light. It is also a good and handy size for your glove compartment.I have two 4-D cell Maglights for home use, which are a bit larger and brighter, but all Maglights are dependable and work when you need them. Others may tout the "new" LED blub flashlights, and yes I do have three small LED flashlights in desk drawers, on top of the fridge, etc. and for the price, they are bright.But, for light, and possibly for use as a weapon, when you may need it,

If you're looking for a good incandescent flashlight that isn't as bulky and lighter than the D cell lights this is a good choice. But if your looking for a bright light, look somewhere else. I like the build of the light, it seems very well built just like any other Maglite, but its not very bright. I ended up buying the TerraLUX TLE-6EXB MiniStar5 140 Lumens, Led Conversion Kit for 2-3 Cell C&D MagLites. This was a big improvement. I should have just bought their new 3 C cell LED Maglite ML100. Its rated at about the same brightness and has different functions. For some reason I thought this light would be brighter buts its not. The light output wasn't impressive. Still a quality light.

I've been buying MagLites for nearly four decades now, I love them! We have scorpions here in Las Vegas. To find them (at night) one needs a reliable UV/blacklight. Every blacklight I bought for the task turned-out to be a cheap waste of money (usually it's the switch). Desperate for a solution, I searched Amazon for a blacklight/UV replacement lamp for MagLites - and found one!! So I bought this MagLite and swapped its factory lamp with the retrofit UV LED light I sourced here... MAGIC!!!! MagLite reliability, and I can spot scorpions on the moon!!! Problems all solved - and my yard is scorpion-free.

The best size weight and light (with led addin). I could not be happier this is a great flashlight. Look no farther. I have had the 2 D version in blue for 12 years. When I could not get the old batteries out even though they still worked ( they were Eveready's that had swollen and leaked and would not come out sent to Eveready under warranty still waiting for answer.) This is a well built flashlight and much lighter than the 2 D version. Hope this helps. Ps make sure you use good batteries and check them every 3 months.

I bought this flashlight, based on my experience with Mag-Lite, to use as a dependable emergency flashlight for my car. It fits the bill as a sturdy well built product. I also have one (2D-cell) in my other car too. This 3C-cell unit is actually only 1-inch longer than the equivalent 2D-cell Mag-Lite and is lighter too. It is 11" long, so check your glove compartment dimensions if you intend to store it there.

Short on battery life and lumens but I knew that going in getting the old incandescent type flashlight. I prefer them to LEDs, but if you're looking for long battery life and lots o' lumens, better go with LED. I do however recommend C cell as it just fits in the hand nicer than traditional D cell. Made just as indestructible as other Mag Lites.

This provides a very bright light and it always works because it is a MagLite - worth the price. This is my 2nd MagLite, I also have another in blue that uses 2 C cells. The twin cell light is not quite as bright as the 3-cell light, but is still a very adequate light and a bit lighter than the 3-cell light.

This is a great flashlight. Maglite makes a very tough light and holds up well to anything you can throw at it. This is the second one I have had. The only reason I got a new one is the batteries leaked in the old unit and I could not get them out. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

I have had no problems with this light. The only reason why it does't have 5 stars is the fact that it has a incandescent bulb in an LED world. I bought a LED conversation bulb for $15 and it is now perfect. It shoots out a lot of light and has the durability that Maglites are known for,

The C cell Maglites can be hard to find, but they are the perfect compromise between the Mini AAs and the larger/heavier D cell ones. I got one yrs ago for my Wife to carry when she went out walking in the evening, as it can be used as a personal defense tool.

Non led 3 C cell torch. Works as it should,just unscrew the lens unit and smear the threads with silicone grease and refit,it stops the lens from moving and unfocussing the beam.Maglites are rebuild able,everything can be replaced,so should last for years.

These lights are super. I have had the same one for slightly over 40 years and I figured it was time for a new shiny one. I am very pleased with its performance. For professional use, it cant be beat. Super value purchase

Typical MAGLITE High Quality. Very happy with it. Rugged, well built, easy to use etc. I always liked the MAGLITEs I have purchased in the past and like this version's size for the car etc. I recommend it.
