I only buy these merino wool Maerz pullovers. Bought one about 20 years ago when in Germany. Best quality. They don't pill, or wear through at the elbows. If you wear them a lot, eventually they fray at the cuffs, after 8 years or so. Some colours are rather bright so unless you like that chose carefully.
