It is easy to assemble and the suction pads work pretty well (it's been up for 2 weeks and only came off once, but that might be due to the dust as we are having building work done).Overall it does the job. If you;re looking for TOTAL blackout, make sure the size fits perfectly.

I bought this as a temporary measure while we save for blinds. It is quite big, perfect size for me. The suckers ate quite hard to push down and get to stick, they seem to be quite robust once stuck.Very good for shielding light coming through the window.

A really good size. Really secure once up. Totally dark even in the daytime.
