We purchased this for our 5 month old baby and he loves it! We had considered a high chair as we wanted our son to be able to sit with us at the dining table when we eat, however also wanted something that he could sit in when we are outside or when I am doing bits in the kitchen that didn't take up too much space. This seat accomplishes everything we wanted, is easy to move around, sturdy and stable.It easily fits onto our dining chairs and outdoor chairs both of which are completely different designs and sizes. When purchasing, I was concerned that the straps would be too short as many of these seats show the straps wrapping around a dining chair with spindles on the back (we have solid upholstered back style)

We bought this to have on hand for our grandchildren. It is small, compact and light - but certainly "gets the job done". To keep baby at eye level, we strap it onto a barstool with arms, so the child is at eye level with everyone at the table but afterwards Grandpa wipes it down and it goes back up on a shelf in the laundry room out of the way - for the next visit. It was inexpensive, is not taking up space in the garage and stores like a dream. We have years of use ahead and the only challenge will be if all of the babies come at the same time. Guess someone's Mommy will have to bring her own. My one daughter-in-law has several (teal, blue and pink- two at her home and one at her mom's)

The dining chair booster seat is superb.Very comfortable for our little grandson, we bought an inferior model months ago but he kept sliding down and became fractious if left long in it, it was obviously not comfortable.As he is 14 months old i quibbled buying the ingenuity seat, would he be in it long enough to warrant buying another seat now?I bit the bullet and bought it and Amazon delivered it the following afternoon!Our little lad climbed onto the seat as soon as we got it out of the box, when i fitted the liner and the backrest (stowed in the space on the underside of the seat) he sat back on it and wouldnt get out...We are all very happy with the seat,

We used this as first feeding seat for our daughter. She used it from 5.5 to 9 months. It gave her good support while she was getting used to sitting up. I like that the tray can be stowed away easily, and that technically you can use it as a booster seat for bigger kids. Unfortunately, there are several cons for me: The foam insert can be taken out and washed, but it got quite stained over the course of the 3.5 months we used it, and no amount of soap or scrubbing could get those stains out. Also, the tray is quite small and for sure too small for any suction plates or bowls; the suction cup will simply not stick on it. Lastly, it was too low for use on our dining table.

I bought this baby base for my 6 month old grandson and both I and his parents are delighted with it. He's a big baby (lovely chubby legs) and needs plenty of leg room which the seat provides. It's lightweight so easy to take out and about and the tray storage under the seat is an excellent idea. The straps that hold the baby seat to my dining room chair, both under the seat and around the back of the chair are perfect and very secure meaning he can sit with us during meal times. Happily I read the review providing guidelines of how to unpack and locate the top part of the seat to attach it to the main body of the chair, not so obvious in the instructions!

Great baby feeding chair...looks good and is sturdy and secure for my little man...I don’t have the space for a high chair and rarely sit at a table for dinner-so this is a great option if you’re in the same position...it can be placed on the floor or sofa and have also placed him on the kitchen worktop ( all under my supervison of course) whilst preparing dinner so he can watch and he has been more than happy in it. It has straps to secure him in and a safety harness if you want to attach to a chair. The tray is easy to store away in its own compartment and all easily cleanable. He looks comfortable in it and never moans when he’s in the seat.

Bought this for when my daughter comes to visit with my grandson. Item is perfect, she likes it better than the one they bought for home. Has a nice high back and cushion all around that support baby's back and don't allow for a lot of bending backward, sideways etc when feeding. It's so comfortable that baby doesn't mind sitting in it at the table watching grownups. He has his tray to play on, eat snacks so he can be part of the goings on. Easy to assemble, fits securely on chair, tray easy to insert and remove. Adjusts if you remove one piece on bottom for toddler use. Cushions are removable for thorough cleaning. Tray is easy to use, one-handed operation. Great price and arrived in timely manner,

Great chair!!When it arrived it did smell of that foam smell quite potently. I see this as a good sign. It means it's not fake materials.So the only downfall is when you clip in the back bit, it just doesn't come off or I haven't seen a way to take it off so I can pack it away.It's confusing at first. EVERYTHING is in the bottom. The tray comes out first, which is located at the front. And then the back of the chair comes out from the bottom.My son really likes it. It's quite padded and don't aswell. It packs away neatly. I thought it was quite genius tbh.I can't find a big fault other than the backs impossible to now get off.Well-done, it's a good little feeding/play chair.

We love this seat! Living in a one-bedroom condo, our space is at a premium, and we couldn’t give up the room for a traditional high chair. This secures right on to one of our kitchen chairs, and the tray stores directly in the base, which makes it super convenient. Baby has been using it since she was 4 months old, and loves to have meals at the table. The only part I dislike is that food can (and does) drop down into the center of the chair, underneath the foam. I have peeled it back for easier cleaning, but it hasn’t sat quite the same since. Overall it is a great space saver for us and baby really loves sitting and eating or playing at the table while we are in the kitchen.

My son has been using this seat since he was 3.5 months old. He was an early sitter but this seat actually helped him with his balance while sitting.He’s now 6.5 months old and the seat is still comfortable for him with the padding and we both love it.This is a great alternative to the other seats like it that are on the pricier side and it works really well for those that like us, don’t have the space for a regular high chair. It’s super easy to clean, nothing has stained it yet and it fits pretty much any type of chair.I can’t recommend this seat enough. We have given it a fair chance for a few months of daily use and have not been disappointed at all.

This seat has been one of our best purchases since becoming parents. I started using with our daughter when she was able to sit supported. I feel this helped her build her confidence with sitting. Now she’s a bit older I use it on my kitchen counter to put her in while I’m busy in the kitchen which means we are at eye level with each other. My daughter enjoys being able to see what’s going on and it happy to sit and play in there for some time. We have also occasionally used it as a substitute for a high chair and it works well for that too, although I prefer to feed her in a normal high chair. All in all I’d highly recommend!

I was pleasantly surprised how well built this seat is.-The are two straps that help with holding the seat in place.-Along with a back extension to help those kiddos who are still working on developing those back muscles.-The foam seat is soft and comfortable. There is also enough room to allow for growth and not be too tigh on their thighs. There is also a raised pillar between the legs to help them from being too hunched forward. Again this is great help for the kids who are just starting to hold themselves up.-Very easy to clean just lift up the foam seat to clean on the bottom and you're done.Overall very satisfied.

Loved the ingenuity immediately. Nice and sleek, super easy to clean and wipe down and the tray slides into the bottom so it stores really easily. Fit my 10-month old (who has bigger thighs) with no prob and gave her the ability to turn and look easily (she’s quite curious) but kept her strapped right in for lunch.We bought it for traveling to grandma and grandpa’s house because our other booster is bulky, and the downside is it doesn’t break down easily. While the tray slides into the bottom slot, to pull the back support apart to restore, it was nearly impossible...might not be meant to break back down after set up.

Love this, so my daughters starting to sit up and I wanted a chair for her to sit in to watch me cook or do stuff around house, and help her get better at sitting up on her own. I was looking at all the other seats that were just a seat and were so expensive!This one was a great price, I knew I would need a high chair soon as having a tray is definanlty what sold me as well and with us having limited space I wanted one that would hook on to my dining room chairs. This has been great, the tray locks in, and when your not using it has a easy storage spot, the foam is soft and comfortable for baby! I would buy this again!

I take this with me when we go places. Very easy to bring along. My son is on the bigger side he is 8 months old and 24 lb. we had a different seat that he was already growing out of it was cheaper and it wasn't holding him up well. This is much sturdier and has options for growing. We had to switch out the buckle strap for the longer version that it came with almost right away. He is probably a few pounds away from having to remove the foam insert to have him still fit in the seat but I know that that is an option to keep it lasting longer. I just like the foam part because I feel like it's more comfortable for him
