This EDT reminds me of an aftershave I used to wear back in 1975 called Sabre which was bought from the local pharmacist and I think probably cost about £2, for some reason they stopped selling it. There was also a cheaper Sabre that they stocked in 78 and smelled cheap and awful. This is the same colour and has a similar smell as the earlier Sabre which was very strong and long lasting and my then girlfriend loved it. Lagerfeld EDT is also long lasting and quite strong when first applied. It is probably an acquired taste and not for everyone, although I would persevere as the smell may grow on you a while after the initial spraying as it did me.

This was the first Lagerfeld edt that I've ever purchased.The smell is definatly a more classier note than most designer names & it lasts allday.To me it smells similar to Escada for men but at half the price.Also it was delivered within 24hrs in the build up to xmas.I will buy this again as an everyday cologne as my office staff have commented on how nice it smells.

This is a classic aftershave.. and quite hard to come by...had a little issue with my order.. but Amazon as per.. sorted it out quick style!.. it's a nice aftershave i think it's quite a clean smelling aftershave.. although my other half says it's scent 'woody'.. everyone's nose is diff tho! It's pleasant smelling and he loves it.. #happy camper! ??thanks Amazon!

I bought this for my husband after sampling it in a set of mens scents. I had been looking for this in shops and hadn't had any luck. Fortunately Amazon came up trumps and I was able to buy it online. Its a beautiful bottle and the scent is really nice. I thought the price was very good value. I will buy it again as my husband loves it.

This particular product is a classic which takes me way back. It retains its crisp freshness upon application, which lasts for a long time. I understand from a previous reviewer that this particular line may soon be discontinued, therefore I purchased two bottles.I would suggest any interested party do the same.

I bought this for my husband he likes it I love it, I always know what he has used it the smell is beautiful.He always gets a hug when he has it on because I love it, it is my favourite.It is a very reasonable price too, very quick delivery. Its a must for any man give it a go you will not be disappointed.

im glad theyre still making classic, it could not be to everyones taste today, but back in the 70s this was the golddust of perfumes every bar you went in you could smell this scent out of all the retro perfumes i would still wear but only of an evening, as it can be a bit heady for daytime wear..classic

Buying and wearing this has brought back a lot of memories.Unfortunately it is a rather awful colour and doesn't last long on the skin.That doesn't bother me much though as I bought it for the nostalgia value really.For real quality I will stick with fragrances by Guerlain, Chanel, Dior and Caron.

Sadly I believe this is now discontinued which may be why this EDT is such a bargain. Don't be put off by this as this is a wonderfully distinctive fragrance. It is has hints of orange, nutmeg, patchouli, musk, tonga bean and vanilla combining to produce a warm oriental with sweet comforting notes.

Have been using Karl Lagerfeld Classic for many, many years and although I use other brands of EDT I always have this as my favourite main one .It is not easy to get in perfume shops either here or abroad and I was pleased to be able to buy it here and will do so in the future .

I first wore Lagerfeld in the eighties, and still wear it to this day. i am still getting compliments on how nice i smell.a lovely sweet smelling Aftershave that is a Change from all the citrusy overpowering smell of most Aftershaves nowadays. Long may it continue to be made

This is and was the best value mens scent around. Strong woody smells are my favourite and this ticks that box.I also want a scent I can wear all day , or in the evening. This does all that and is not overpowering.I wish all companies reissued certain great scents.!

A really great scent this one. Reminds me of an "old-style" Gentlemen's cologne from the late 70's and really quite unusual. There's nothing like this in terms of modern perfumes. Sweet, musky, smoky & top notes of bunt orange. Quite fabulous. Will buy again for sure.

Love, love, love this fragrance but have been unable to find it locally any more. Until I put it into Amazon and there it was. Such a great quality fragrance and so much cheaper than I have paid previously. Give it a go. All you would expect rom Lagerfeld after all.
