Really pleased with these wine glasses. The heavier than usual chunky stems and bases are so sensible and allow greater stability from tipping over. We've all seen our friends/guests accidentally knock their wine over :-) The appearance is of good quality and the design so practical and stylish that they look equally good in a relaxed, bistro type setting, a mock medi-eval banquet or a formal table setting. Surprisingly, although the bowls tend to appear larger than the usual tall stemmed wine glasses, when pouring a "normal" measure into the glass the portions do not appear mean. They are also multi-functional and double beautifully as serving glasses for light desserts,

These glasses are great - kind of chunky and rustic in feel - nothing like the fine wine glasses we usually use. But when my husband kept knocking his glass off the side of the sofa and breaking the stem, I decided it was time to invest in some new glasses. Looking at these I doubt very much they'll be as delicate as our previous glasses. (No incidents yet to report how they actually hold up). The only thing I'd say is that they are quite large glasses so it's easy to pour large glasses of wine. Not always a problem, but hey, worth noting! Dishwasher safe. Not much else to say really - they do the job! I'll be investing in more too over time...

I love these wine glasses. Our previous glasses were tall with dainty stems, and whilst beautiful were completely impractical. These ones are shorter and sturdy and less likely to knock over and break. They look good and they're practical and they can go in the dishwasher. Perfect!Make sure these are the right size for you. I didn't notice until I unpacked them that these are only 35cl rather than the 45cl I meant to buy. There is a considerable difference so be warned! Of course some people may prefer a smaller glass. I have included a photo to help illustrate the difference. I prefer the 45cl.

These are nice, chunky wine glasses, perfect for everyday use. I bought them because I was fed up with the thin edges of wine glasses getting chipped or cracked. The thicker glass in these makes cracking less likely and so far they have proved chip resistant. I like that they are decent sized glasses but the short stem means they still fit easily into the dishwasher. I also like that they are sturdy and not prone to falling over at the slightest touch so they are more suitable for outdoor use than many glasses.

I think these wine glasses are great. I particularly like the chunky design - they're stylish, but not flimsy like most run-of-the-mill wine glasses. I can put them in the dishwasher and feel more confident that they will survive the wash cycle.I use them for various cold drinks, not just wine, so they're getting plenty of use. My old wine glasses spend most of the time in the cupboard, gathering dust.Overall - looks good, decent size and versatile. Also available in 45 cl size.

I bought a set of these in TK Maxx for a bargain price, but managed to drop one on the floor. Whilst the glasses are indeed robust, the quarry tiled floor was too much for it - it didn't shatter, just split in two. Not the fault of the glass - more of an operator error. The glasses, as the Champagne glasses, are aesthetically pleasing and delightfully chunky - work so well for a kitchen supper. I absolutely love them!

Love these white wine glasses , stylish and sturdy , been admired by lots of friends .Because of the design / shape of these glasses they difficult to knock over and lovely grip in hand when you hold them , they currently unavailable on Amazon hope they back in stock soon will definitely purchase again .they hold a large glass of wine so no need to refill constantly , unless you want to lol.

As someone who can be pretty clumsy at times, I really didn't want thin glasses that could easily break. These are absolutely perfect; sturdy yet look good. It's a shame they have the Jamie Oliver branding on them (free advertising for his company!) but it's on the stem, so not intrusive, and quite easy to overlook. Apart from that, these are great, and I definitely recommend them.

So glad we found these at Amazon as our original set of 4 is now 2! Just in case we bought 2 sets! These are great glasses and not just for wine. The delivery arrived eventually, no thanks to the transport company, but the packaging was excellent and no breakages. We would really recommend this product if you want something a bit different and you don't like hand washing glasses!

These are chunky and very stable wine glasses ideal for barbecues or general quaffing where practicality rather than style is more important - very much like JO himself. Nice shape, right size, solid to hold and great to drink out of but the stem does have JO name in raised letters which is an unnecessary distraction.

We love these. I'm forever knocking over long stem glasses and these are short and sturdy. The glass is quite thick so if you're looking for something fine/ thin walled for wine these probably won't do BUT they are excellent all rounders for every day use from water and juice to beer through wines and G&T.

Told my daughter I wanted some glasses with a thick stem as I have reached the age when things get knocked over. These arrived for Christmas. Thank you love, no spills yet. Would definitely recommend and might get some for my even older Dad who uses a tumbler so it does not get knocked over.

these are ideal white wine glasses, very well made and the thick stem and glass thickness makes them very robust indeed. Received on a next day delivery (which mean i didn't need to use a straw to drink from the bottle) well packaged! very please with these and will be buying more as gifts.

The glasses are good quality and come in sets of different sizes for red or white wine. They have a low centre of gravity and do not topple when caught as often happens with glasses with long stems. They also wash up well and because of their low profile store well in the glass cabinet.

Being of an age and liking a good night with friends dining, we wanted stable glasses that don't knock over but stylish. These fit that criteria. Then I bought a sailing yacht again, they fit the requirements, stable and nice. I am getting lots of compliments, guests like them.
