The HyperX FURY RAM arrived well packaged in a small plastic box which contained the 4 DIMMs and a small warranty booklet. On taking them out the box I was impressed by the build quality of the chips, the black heat-spreader had a stylish smooth finish and felt very solid. The heat-spreader also wasn’t overly large or instrusive, making installation of these DIMMs into my quite cramped motherboard very easy and quick.The HyperX FURY RAM defaulted to 2400Mhz on my motherboard so I increased my motherboard’s frequency divider in the BIOS to get a faster speed. I can confirm the RAM automatically adjusted to the higher 2667Mhz without any configuration needed on my part, which was very impressive.

Despite some initial worry and delay about whether my son's computer could handle this memory without blowing up his motherboard, he finally installed it and everything seems fine!! I'm not an expert or a gamer so excuse lack of technical knowhow in this review, but he reports that what it seems to do is analyse your system and work to the highest speed/intensity it can without overstressing the rest of it. He says it has improved his experience when gaming by speeding up the memory (?) and doesn't result in his computer getting too hot, which is what he was most afraid of. He didn;t have to fiddle with any complex settings and the whole thing worked well without any tweaks or expert advice.I

There can be no doubt that this is premium DDR4 memory from HyperX, a division of the better known Kingston Technology. Automatic overclocking without needing to fiddle with BIOS settings is a revelation - it really is plug and play (although may take the fun/challenge out of it for those who enjoy messing around with clock speeds and voltages - fatherhood has since made me thankful for things that just work straight out of the box). The sticks look and feel great and, despite the high speed, the memory runs cool thanks to the efficiency of DDR4 with a low voltage of 1.2V and the integrated heat spreaders. And most importantly performance is excellent when used in Quad Channel mode with Intel 6 or 8 core processors,

I recently switched to this brand for my current build (My last build used Corsair) I mainly chose these because they were cheaper than others at the time of purchace. I dont regret that descion though because not only do these look beautiful but they are also everything I needed.I slotted it in so easily to my mother board without any added pressure, The added heat spreader is a bonus with this DDR4 ram as it works perfectly as described. It does last as I have had no issues with this ram and I have been using it for roughly over a year now. I use an i9 and a GTX 1080 with these bad boys and I am considering to maybe buy another 2 to get 24GB of ram but it is really not a need for the time being.

This is quality memory from an established manufacturer. I'm not an ardent overclocker, but I have dabbled with it on and off over the years. I've always been a little reluctant to push my system too hard as my understanding of the intricacies of overclocking isn't in-depth enough, but the HyperX memory takes all of the worry out of the equation as it does most of the work for you.The memory will automatically overclock, meaning you are always getting the best performance you can. It stays relatively cool too, so you don't have to worry about overheating (at least, not yet, over time this may become more of an issue).Needless to say, installation is simple and the all-round performance very good.

I know you shouldn't do it, but bought this to put in a PC with similar spec different brand RAM, as that one was too hard to get hold of. After putting it in a bit loose and it not working, when I put it in properly (too close to the CPU fan, and the other ram's heat sink was twice as big...) worked fine and clocked to 2400 xmp2.0. the different between 8 and 16 GB isn't massively noticeable in the main, though I don't see the microsutters in games (anecdotal evidence). So far so good, the only down side is a few years back 2016 this would be about half the price, so well thats market forces for you.

They work flawlessly on my Gigabyte Aorus X470 gaming 7 WiFi. I have tested stock speed (2933) andXMP profile1 (3466) and both pass Prime95 with no issues. I previously had purchased G. Skill FlareX (3200) that would only work at stock (2400). The PC would boot with the memory at 3200mhz but would fail in prime95. Fantastic memory from Kingston.Update1: Now running at 3600mhz @1.35v.Update2: Have now installed another two sticks of the same memory and can still run XMP profile1 at 3466mhz not tried to overclock higher yet. Passed prime95 with no fails, very impressed with this memory.

Supported my r5 1500x right out of the box on a b350 tomahawk, ran exactly at advertised timings aswell as speeds without the need for calibration. As 2133MHz is slow for a ryzen 1st gen CPU, I opted to overclock this ram to 3000MHz at 1.35v with timings of 15-18-18-28, without any instability, as checked with a 5hour test of prime95. I saw a dramatic performance boost in game and I would recommend to any ryzen builder.NOTE: Your mileage may vary with the timings, voltage and clock speed. No two dimms are the same, overclock at your own risk.

Arrived quickly, well packaged, easy to install, nice speed for price compared to other kits. I have done budget build list and included this product on Amazon which you can search for - AMD Budget build by Cal-M - or if you would like to see a video on three Ryzen builds just look me up on You-tube "Cal-M complete pc budget builds 2019" in search and you will see the logo. Very pleased with this product overall, Ryzen performs well with high speeds this is not the fastest but perfect for a budget build price to performance.

I don't write a lot of reviews, however, after having 2 bricked motherboards and a suspected bricked CPU due to trying to get Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000Mhz DDR4 to install, the fact that when booted up, this Hyper X 2666Mhz DDR4 ran straightaway at it's rated speed (technically rated speed +1Mhz!) with no issues whatsoever is a breath of fresh air. I can't recommend this DDR4 enough especially if you're building a system with a Ryzen in it. At £65, it's significantly cheaper than the Corsair LPX too.

Good ram that works by default to 3466 using XMP2 on a B450M from MSi. Good price too. RecommendUpdate: 2T [email protected] volts/speed 3600Mhz/Bios version 1.40{Ryzen 2600} stable and fasterUpdate: If you are using a ryzen+ CPU(amd 2000 series) !!DON'T update your bios to the latest available. Use only bios v 1.40 for this b450m from msi. If you update from 1.40 to the latest it won't run at these speeds. newest version of bios is bad for ryzen 2000 ram OC

Excellent priced ram.This is pretty much the bare minimum for a mining rig and will perform just as well as any 2800mhz+ RAM (note that you need 2 or 4 sticks to run in dual channel memory mode).4GB is also enough for a cryptocurrency mining rig if you are using a h110/h170/z170 or 200 series motherboard.Pros:* Excellent performance and price.* Available in different colours* Low profile. Does not get in the way of large cpu coolers.Cons: None.

Bought 2 x 8GB sticks for a R5 1600 AMD ryzen build using a Gigabyte gaming mobo. Runs a treat can also over clock easily if you tinker with voltage and timings in bios. Not really much different from 2400, slight speed boost both types can OC without issue thanks to heat spreader.Dual channel does give a nice boost for some games if on a tight budget would suggest 1 stick of 8GB get one later on when prices drop.Ram maker is Hynix

Review Written in August 2017, price now is £70.45Product was bought January 2017, at £53.99great ram for a starter gaming PC build. It would even hold up in a higher end system, the price at the moment of DDR4 ram as of August 2017 is high due to world wide DDR4 shortages, but at this price of £70.45 it's still a "decent" buy as the HyperX FURY brand of ram is well known and trusted due to it's great performance and quality.
