Great memory kit, a little on the expensive side compared with some other manufacturers, but nothing too crazy, easy to install, easy to activate the XMP profiles. It works on both Intel and AMD configurations, tested on both with no issues. The RGB is fine, not too dim and not too bright, it can be controlled via various software, but I personally don't, as I don't need another program to hijack my resources. All Omen 30L Intel Z490/10th Gen processors owners, here is some very valuable information if you decided to configure your new Omen 30L with only 8GB or ram with the idea to add your own ram kits later and save some money. There are several threads with customers with that exact same issue that I am having,we spent a lot of money on the new 30L and opted out of the very expensive ram that HP is offering with the idea to upgrade by ourselves, after all the Omen is marketed towards enthusiast that are expected to do a lot of upgrades and changes on their own, unfortunately we all found out the hard way that the memory upgrade is almost impossible, unless we buy a very expensive ram from HP directly ($158 for a single 8GB HyperX Fury RGB, excluding shipping and tax!!!), naturally most people would try to find a way to get their own ram in, but the way HP has done it, is only ram modules approved by them and with specific identification numbers are accepted to be recognized by the Omen Command Center in order to get control over the overclocking abilities and RGB lightning control. After spending days with HP support, sales, parts sales, community and testing myself, I found a solution, a very easy one for everyone that wants to throw their own ram kit and activate their Intel XMP profile! Mind you first that HP's Bios is locked and there are no controls over XMP profiles, also you are still not going to be able to control the RGB, which to me is a less of a problem.OK, on to the solution, all you need to do is go ahead and install Intel's own - Extreme Tuning Utility, or also known as Intel XTU, it can be found directly on Intel's website, use your Google skills and it will come up right away. Step by step below:- All you need to do after installing it is to run it- Go to the memory section- If your memory kit supports Intel XMP, you will see the profiles there- Select the proper profile (in my case XMP1 3200mhz, CL16/18/18 for HyperX Fury RGB)- Accept the selection and reboot your computer- After the reboot you will have your memory's XMP profile activated and running at the proper speed.- If you want, you can go ahead and uninstall the Intel XTU, and the profile will still be active and working (fully tested, that's what I did myself)- At the end enjoy your freshly upgraded Omen 30L with the XMP and timings that are intended by the manufacturer for your memory!A few side notes:The ram provided by HP doesn't use XMP, even if you overclock it via HP OCC, it only used JDEC and timings that are not even close to the XMP, for example my 8GB stick is rated at 18/21/21 at 1.2 volts, but after Overlocking with HP OCC, the timings are running at 22/22/22/52 and JDEC profile - all that easily verifiable with CPU-Z.After using the Intel XTU and activating the XMP profile of the new or the old (stock) ram, everything works as intended by Kingston with the proper timings, again verified by CPU-ZThat is it, I hope that I saved all of you a lot of headaches and countless hours of testing. Also HP I saved you a lot of money, as I am sure most people will be frustrated with this major flaw and return their computers to you without even wasting their time.Word of advise to HP, just give a simple slider for the people that buy your otherwise beautiful new Omen series, that would enable or disable the XMP profile, it will be just enough, we can all avoid future problems this way.And final words for people that consider configuring and buying their own Omen 30L - make sure to select the type and amount of memory that you need, yes it would be a little bit more expensive, but this way you can avoid all of the above, don't make the same mistake as me or all the other customers that decided to save some money!

Been shopping around for a few days looking up compatibility in terms of height for radiator clearance, RGB software and CPU pairing. Considered Trident Z RGB and Corsair Vengence RGB, however both of those looked quite high. I eventually found these, and considering I had a previous set of hyperX at 2666 CL18 currently in my system, that has been running fora few years with no issues I stuck with my trusted brand.Needless to say I'm very impressed, installed easily enough, had to unscrew one fan on the radiator to get clearence to the retaining clips but once seated the fan reinstalled easily enough.Straight into BIOS and seleceted the correct advertised speed and CL, reset and straight into windows. No issues at all. Opened Asus Aura which is the sole software i use for everything RGB and its picked it up straight away and simply linked the memory to my exisiting profile. The results are as pictured! near enough perfect match to everything else.Would highly recommend these before looking at the more known and expensive brands!.System SpecsCPU - AMD Ryzen 3700xGPU - GTX 1080Ti Founders (Palit)RAM - 16Gb HyperX Fury RGB 3200Mhz CL 16M/b - Asus Strix B550F-Gaming WiFiPSU - Corsair 550 Semi ModularAIO - CoolerMaster 240 RGBBoot- PCIe 4.0 NvMe Sabrent Rocket 500gbMass - WD Green 1Tb SATA M.2Case- Corsair Spec Delta RGB

I originally bought the Corsair Vengence LED ram 4x16 for a build. That ram was too tall for my build to use 4 sticks and the capacity I needed wasn't available.I bought 2x32gb sticks of HyperX 3600ghz for an AMD 3950x / Asus B550m BUILD. Good choice.XMP works without issue. The led software is oddly in beta and downloadable from the HyperX website. Called Ngenuity. The software is simple to use and simple in design. Not a lot of features or changes you can make in it.The LED's rest when you reboot into windows on occasion. Which returns when you reboot and open the software.I would like a RAIN effect like the corsair had, but that is me.The lower profile/lower height ram is great. It fits under my air cooler without clearance issues. The 32gb sticks is another bonus as I don't need to fill all four slots to get 64gb. Availability is another bonus.I have bought other HyperX ram before and have never had an issue. I anticipate the same from these.Recommended.

Building a new rig and fancied some RGB ram to bring light to the case. These came out cheaper than their Corsair counterpart and after doing some reading I found that it's difficult to control both Corsair RGB products and other RGB products. Luckily these can be controlled through MSI software. They worked perfect out of the box and look great, though the light transitions could be smoother.I did purchase a 2nd set of 2x8GB after my initial purchase but was unable to get them to work together, or even on their own, so they were returned and I will stick with 16GB for now. I am aware that mixed pairs don't always work together but I have had them working in the past on previous builds. So if you are looking to fill 4 slots on the motherboard, buy a kit that comes ready with 4 sticks of ram to save a headache.

Previous LPX corsair RAM was also 3200Mhz but never hit the overclock no matter what we tried. This HyperX RAM worked first time at 3200Mhz on a first gen ryzen b350 motherboard!Set XMP to profile 2 (best stability for me) and set voltage as specified. No issues at all, passed Karhu RAM test first time as well as Memtest & prime95.If you are looking for some fast ram to truly unlock your RYZEN build potential, these are highly recommended. Not only do they look good, they actually run to specification with zero hassle and at a fair price. You don't need any special software to get the RGB lights to work, your bios likely can control this or worst case the default has a nice rainbow effect. Not normally my thing but looked good.

I brought these a few weeks back, so far so good. I was unsure if they were the real deal but i can now say that they are genuine, obviously will all RAM you dint get the fulll amount (15.96) or something like that, but atleast its all there. Easy to install.Regaring the RGB.... well.... i saw a few comments saying their colours dont match but it diddnt really bother me, however i can confirm this is true. The colours are great, and the effects are nice, but having them match would have been better. Luckily it doesnt really bother me but if this is something that will annoy you then dont buy. Thats why 4 starsApart from they they are great and id recommend.

I had to reinsert them a few times to get them to work, but I don't know if that's to do with the sticks, the motherboard, or if that's just a standard thing. The RGB really comes in handy, telling you which sticks are in properly and which aren't.Make sure you press in and hear the click at both sides! The clasps will close on their own. This is where I went wrong -- this is what you should be doing for any RAM sticks. (Just a tip for anyone else because I was very disheartened when my monitor wouldn't show a picture, and I didn't realise the fix was so simple for a while)

This is actually a 2400Mhz DIMM but with XMP 1: 2933Mhz and XMP 2 : 3466MHz.In most uses it works as intended but in some applications the xmp makes the application very unstable and just blue screens your computer to death every 2 minutes which even with my NVME ssd that boots my computer in 10 seconds is still very annoying.

Bought for HP omen. They were easy to install and worked without having to do anything but put them in. There may be some issues if you over clock or want to control the lighting on some machines. Intel has a download solution available. Ours has a Ryzen cpu. I don't know if that would make a difference or not.

I'm in love with the RGB on these ram. It is bright and the transition between colours are very smooth and can be hypnotic! If you are installing them in your new PC make sure you check the speed in your bios because mine didn't run at 3200mhz at default so I had to manually increase the speed.

It was a noobs mistake... Put in the RAM and only one ram light came on. DUH did not put in all the way. SO make sure they click into place. Once I corrected that Operator error. works like a charm. very happy. I upgraded from the same manufacture 16 gb to 32gb.

23.5.2020

I purchased it to add to my gaming desktop that already had another HyperX Fury 8Gb. Now they both work in dual mode which noticeably increased the speed of pretty much everything. Applications start faster and everything is snappier.Very satisfied

I know RGB add-ons for a pc is more of a statement but these are affordable, great quality and look stunning. Will I buy agin? Yes, will I get moaned at for spending more money on my pc? Yes.In short nice fast ram at a good price.

12.8.2020

I mean, it's RAM, it goes in easy, it has high speeds and RGB. I had to go into BIOS to get the clock speed up. My PCs MOBO and CPU can't quite handle 3600, but why not get that for barely anymore money in case I upgrade later.

22.9.2020

The XMP profiles on these work perfectly straight out of the box with no messing on my Ryzen system. These were also only £5 more than the non-rgb at the time of purchase so well worth it for a bit of extra bling in the case.
