I generally like PopCap games and have quite a few. These HOGs are in the same vein as their "Escape from . . " series, combining searches with puzzle games (match-3, spot the difference, find-the-words, etc.) The graphics are beautiful and the objects are visible, but not obvious. (I hate HOGs with objects so tiny they can't be identified or hidden behind immovable objects.) The only negative about this CD is the difficulty I had in loading the games. I had to uninstall and reload one of the games three times before it would work properly. This is the only time I have ever had a problem with one of their games, though, so it may just be an anomaly.

The download is easy, it leads you through the install. I have Win XPwith DX 9 downloaded. Once downloaded/installed, close games and re boot your computer and you should have no problems with any games you download. I love the Amazing Adventure Series. The item list is long and challenging to find. These are complete games and fun to play. If you like these then also look for Hidden Object Volume 2 (Treasure Trove). 10 more games by PopCap, which has 2 more Amazing Adventure games and Mystery P.I.- 3 games of the series, and Vacation Quest - 2 games (10 total). I have both and have played them all. I am a PopCap junkie.

This set of games was just what I was looking for to fill in the free time that I have in my days due to a disability. It works my mind without being too tedious or burdensome so that I give up and go to something else. I wanted something simple, challenging but not overly so, and something that would keep me interested for a long time. The "Amazing Adventures" set perfectly fits that description. If you are tired of solitaire, mahjong or other such games, here is an inexpensive way to change the scenery and try something different.

I am not a fan of Adventure games that make you think and analyze to get anywhere. I don't want to do anything complicated in a HO game. These games have a story, but not to the degree that you have to figure out a mystery. No running around from level to level trying to figure out what you missed before moving on. They may be too simple for those that need a challenge, but okay for those who just want to relax and find stuff.

I love these games. PopCap has some fantastic games. I wish the company would update the games for XP to Windows 7. I want to play all of their games but am restricted. These games never disappoint if you can find the ones that work with your operating system. This set came quickly and were in perfect condition. Thanks Shane

I play this with my daughter - who is a lot quicker than me but we have a laugh and a bit of time together - even though she is 24 haha - really good for not only improving your powers of observation but memory as well. Brilliant to pass a bit of time and fun to .

The "Amazing Adventure" games are great. You are able to play at your own pace with no timed games. You can always trust PopCap games to put out a good product. This set of 3 is a bargain instead of paying for them one by one.

I bought this for my dad who is in his late 70s and he plays it every day. I think it keeps him sharper. He seems to be entertained and we know where he's at and what he's doing.

I bought this game because it was a three in one game, i remember playing one of the games, so i just bought it because it was better than buying them on there own.
