We bought the dummy chain primarily for car journeys as we allow our son to have a dummy when we're in the car and we were finding that he would frequently throw it out of reach. We already had a Heimess elephant rattle-type toy and are very pleased with the quality, durability, look-and-feel and most importantly how much our son liked it - so we didn't hesitate to buy this dummy chain. We're so glad we did - our son took no time at all to realise that if he "follows" the chain he'll reach his dummy, and so it's made car journeys a joy again. It's very pretty to look at, and like its sister toy it seems to be very durable.Just a couple of things which are easily surmountable hence still a 5 star rating: 1.

I was skeptical of these when I first came across them looking for dummy clips but after reading reviews (about 50/50 pro/con) and finding all other alternatives ugly with massive clips I decided to go for it and I don't regret the purchase at all! I have two of the simple bead ones which are used with Avent dummies for 6 and 22 month olds. It connects fine to the dummies either of the two ways shown, ones just easier than the other to put on and take off quickly! And I have not had a problem with either child pulling the clip off! My eldest despite never having a dummy clip before loves it! I thought she would hate this "thing" on her dummy but she loves me clipping it to her clothes for her!

As a Foster Carer for new born babies we use dummies regularly, the cost of replacing them when baby chucks them out of the pram easily makes this a financial must.An older child may be able to pull the clip off their clothes but I find it easier to find the dummies when they are attached to the chain and easier to find in the middle of the night in the cot. I have to admit the loop at the end of the chain is not very long and I rethreaded mine before use. This made it much easier to change the dummy when required. As previously mentioned my babies use the clip to teeth on and I have had no problem with the quality of the chain.

This is just beautiful. The beads are quite big and the string sturdy and it looks colourful and unique. It's a little tricky to attach and if attached to a dummy without a handle my baby can easily pull the dummy off. I'd have preferred it if I could tighten the loop a little more but there's not much give. My baby chews it all the time, especially the bead that sticks out (that you use to slightly tighten the loop at the end), but as it's made for babies I'm not too worried about him being able to pull it off, as I'm sure the product meets all the safety guidelines. It's absolutely beautiful and every mummy should get one!

Quality product. Baby was drawn to the bright colours and enjoyed playing with it. As it's made of wood and paint is glossy non- toxic so looks and feels nice as well as having no safety concerns for baby.The clip is heavy duty so once you close the mechanism down its not budging unless you remove/ open it yourself. Item can be easily cleaned as well. Received lots of compliments for this, with many mummies in my various baby activity groups asking where I got it from.

1. It’s wonderful colourful2. Have beautiful beads and figures which my baby loves to play and look at3. Clip is strong my baby is 9 1/2 and can resist her strength4. Very easy to attach and instructions are easy to follow5. I bought 4 one for each pacifier simple because I love them

This is a eye catching chain, which has proved useful as the times it has been dropped (or thrown away) I have always noticed. My baby likes it as a way to find his teething dummy but also as a chew toy in its own right. The only bad feature is the loop at the end, it is too short.

My baby doesn't use a dummy so I actually bought this to attach to a Nuby ring teether which is quite heavy but it holds the weight well. Actual chain is great - metal clip attaches securely and everyone has commented on it and asked where I got it.Would I buy it again? Yes :-)

You don’t get a better brand of dummy chains then Heimess. They really are the cream of the crop!Excellent chain, strong, durable and colourful. It’s very easy to attach the dummy and also to remove it. The clip is strong yet still easy for an adult to open and close.

This is lovely and it looks so cute clipped on my little's boy clothes. If you have any difficulty putting it on the dummy just look on youtube for video tutorial on how to put it on. It's dead easy. Good quality and absolutely adorable. Also makes a lovely gift.

I bought this clip after reading mixed reviews about it. I have to say, my baby loves it. Now that she is growing her first tooth she also likes munching on the beads. It is a beutiful clip and I had no problems looping the avent soother through it. Great thing.

Really pretty, 8 month old loves to fiddle with it. The clip is as little more bulky than I was expecting, but it's very secure and very safe (no chance of baby getting hurt). No more hunting for dummies. My 2 year old wants to play with it constantly!

a bit uncomfortable for dummies that are not rounded as it is difficult to get them in. but you wont loose them and the grip to the clothes is perfect. plus all babies love the colours, and its another toy more to chew and play with.

Fantastic dummy chain. Clips on well and little one is unable to unclip. Dummy stays on chain securely. Only downside it is not dishwasher or steamer safe as paint fades. But apart from that is the best dummy chain I have found.

Works perfectly and is SO cute! Good for babies to learn about grabbing and becoming aware of their hands - he was constantly pulling his dummy out before, but now he’s more interested in grabbing the colourful dummy clip!
