After carefull consideration I opted for The Gigabyte X570 Aorus Ultra for my new AMD Ryzen 3800X system build.Gigabyte have always been my prefered choice of motherboard for system builds as they offer great quality, reliability & fantastic support backed by a warranty service that can be trusted! The Aorus X570 Ultra has satisfied my expectations and more, the board is aesthetically pleasing to the eye with its striking appearance and the build quality is excellent.Gigabyte have done an exemplary job on the engineering of the Aorus X570 Ultra motherboard to ensure maximum durability and system stability. The board is equiped with good solid heatsinks that are able to transfer and dissipate heat efficiently using direct touch heatpipes.Modern muti-core CPU's require demanding power regulation for stability especially when they are operating under high load so with this in mind I was impressed that Gigabyte have applied super attention to detail in this area by equipping the board with ample Digital VRM Power Stages. There is no skimping on this motherboard and Gigabyte have used quality components throughout, the 1GbE LAN is powered by Intel and the soundsystem by Realtek using technologies that provide audiophile sound quality. The board has plenty of USB ports on the intergrated backplate including the latest USB 3.1 Gen 2 but if you run short of USB ports Gigabyte have provided internal mainboard headers that permit further expansion/ports.The board has the latest PCIe 4.0 technology which in effect doubles the available transfer bandwidth to items such as graphics cards, hard drives, SSD's & other devices. One of the reasons I chose this board is because it is equipped with three M2 SSD connectors so this along with PCIe 4.0 technology provides a degree of being future proof. It is difficult to cram all of the good points of this board in a short review so I will quickly touch on some of the other great features the board offers; Intergrated Dualband Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, Headers for RGB lighting, Headers for Temperature Sensors which are included with the board, 3 Headers for additional system fans, fan/water cooling pump headers, AMD Crossfire & Nvidia SLi support for multiple graphics cards, RAID storage... etc etcThe included support CD comes with all the necessary drivers and a usefull aray of utilities and software applications. It is worth noting that Gigabyte have been very proactive with supporting the new AMD platform by providing regular motherboard bios updates to tweak features, improve memory support and ensuring the end user has a great experience with the product. To conclude I have put my trust in Gigabyte having moved from the Intel platform to AMD's Ryzen platform and I can honestly say I have no regrets in doing so. My AMD Ryzen 3800X CPU is super fast and the Gigabyte Aorus X570 Ultra board is proving to be stable and I have had no issues much to my relief!

Bought this as I was upgrading to the new Ryzen 3rd gen from an age old ivy bridge intel system. Motherboard was easy to set up. The IO shield was already installed on the motherboard so no having to mess around with lining that up with the case and the ports. The mounting bracket for the default Ryzen cooler was pre-installed too (though that may mean extra work taking it off if you were using a custom cooler that happens to not use it).The motherboard has a number of fan headers for cooling, enough for the majority of users. There's also plenty of USB headers(including a USB-C one), SATA, PCIe and M.2 slots. In terms of the back IO, there's a USB-C, loads of USB 2.0 and USB 3.0/3.1 jacks,a intel gigabit lan port(not realtek like some of the cheaper ones), optical out and audio jacks that have up to 7.1 channel support. The onboard audio seems pretty good all things considered too. To top if off it has a solid VRM solution which should easily be enough for overclocking a 3900x.After installing the motherboard and booting up it boot loops for a bit(probably detecting the parts) and then loaded perfectly fine. I enabled XMP for my RAM which was easy to do, there's also plenty of options for other overclocking in the BIOS and also for fan management. There was a bit of issue with fan noise from the fan on the motherboard initially but after updating the BIOS it seems much better. Gigabyte seem to be on the ball with updating their BIOS for these new motherboards, so can't really fault them too much.Overall a good experience so far. The board is a bit on the expensive side hence I've docked a point in value for money, but you do get a lot for you money, and all x570 boards seem to be pricey due to their inclusion of PCIe 4.0.

I cannot fault this board. The main reason I purchased this board was to go alongside my 3700X and I could not find any other boards which would fit my criteria apart from this one.It was straightforward to fit into my case and is very aesthetically pleasing. If you are looking to purchase a reasonably priced X570 board then this is what you need to purchase. For people who are worried about having to alter the BIOS be rest assured that you do not need to worry with this particular board. The BIOS is easy to navigate and use and the included manual is perfect for any new users. The board feels extremely robust. It has 12+2 VRM's which is more than enough if you are planning on getting a 3900X.The heatsink on the chipset has a visible heatsink with a fan which will keep it cool for extensive use for prolonged periods of time.If you need a fast Internet connection then the board has an Intel Gigabyte chip which allows for a Gigabit connection over Ethernet. The I/O shield is of high quality and has padding which doesn't make your build look cheap. I find that some motherboards can look cheap without a proper colour scheme but the Aurous Elite has a fantastic colour scheme which is very aesthetically pleasing. If you are looking for an X570 motherboard which is robust, doesn't break the bank, has reliable Ethernet, sufficient VRM's then this is the board which fits that criteria.

X570 Master: A fantastic (but expensive) motherboard. Technically it's a great board with lots of high praise reviews. But be aware there is no Thunderbolt (contrary to early review spec samples as seen on YouTube), I don't care for TB currently, but I was expecting this board to have it. My main issue (a small one) is that Gigabyte software is horrible, utterly terrible. Example, RGB Fusion is not a reason to buy any Gigabyte board currently, profiles are often forgotten upon reboot. Gigabyte Smart Backup is another mystery, it just doesn't work. Worse still is it also makes Windows Restore fail repeatedly... (uninstall Smart Backup, and Windows Restore works first time again without issue). Also, customer support doesn't appear to be a strong point. I would buy again, definitely - but be aware of the small issues, e.g. terrible S/W and disinterested Support (I had to return my first board which was all scratched up on the shiny bits - Amazon dealt with it quickly, but Gigabyte took no interest when I contacted them).

This motherboard has been really good. The built-in fan cannot be heard over the other fans in the case, and it has a good VRM which stays at around 40 to 50 degrees, with a 3700X running prime95. After enabling XMP my RAM went to 3200MHz without any problems, I added a digital LED stip to one of the two Digital LED strip headers on the motherboard and this meant I could control it using the RGB fusion app. I was able to sync the colour of the LEDs on the motherboard with the LED strip in the case. There was also a range of different colours and patterns to choose from for the digital LED strip. The motherboard worked well in linux without the need to install any drivers, the network adaptor,USBs, and Audio all worked straight away. However, the RGB fusion app does not work on linux, which means I have to restart into windows to change any of the LEDs.

I bought this after doing some research on the motherboards for my first PC build. It's little brother came recommended in a bunch of place, but unfortunately wasn't available when I was ordering. I was looking for something easy to install for a first time builder and this fits the build. It was simple enough to install and the integrated IO plate saved an additional step. As I was going for a quiet build with my PC, I was worried about the chipset fan. In the end, I haven't really noticed. The BIOS was also quite easy to use even for a novice, so much I was able to update it using Q-Flash.Overall, I'm happy with the motherboard, and feel it'll be great bedrock for my PC,both for future upgrades and overclocking.

Recently upgraded to a Ryzen 3700X cpu and needed a motherboard. After searching a lot I finally chose to Gigabyte Aorus Elite X570. First Gigabyte product I own. Not afraid of buying more from the Gigabyte brand in the future. What made me buy this board over other products was the Intel lan, Realtek ALC1200 audio codec and also every review states that the board had good VRMs. Not that I'm a huge overclocker, but I chose good VRMs because of future expand-ability. I might get some better CPU with more cores and then need the extra power on the board. It has been very easy to build the computer. Everything just worked. Put in DDR4 3200 CL14 ram, chose XMP in bios and it has been running without any hickups!

When researching a motherboard, it's important to determine that it has the features you require. In computing terms, a few extra connectivity options here and there can mean a great deal to your typical operations. In mine, the Aorus Master has three M2 slots, enabling future expansion of very fast storage, as and when I deem the cost appropriate. Also, this motherboard has plenty of USB slots; both legacy 2.0, but critically, all types of USB 3. There are also extra headers on the motherboard, available for connecting to ports on the front panel of your computer's case (typically USB). All-in-all, I am very pleased with my selection of Gigabyte's brand for my current Ryzen build.

I don’t normally post reviews but I got sick of snobby gamers (who probably don’t own the board) slating this board for not having wi-fi, 3 x M.2 or Nvidia SLI etc. In the Gigabyte motherboard hierarchy, this board is towards the bottom third hence some top of the ranch features are missing, but for most users that’s fine. No need to moan about it!!All my hardware was instantly recognised, even with the early installed bios that has since undergone severalrevisions. XMP memory configuration worked fine. Would recommend for those running stock settings. Those seeking hardcore high end overclocking setups may wish to seek a motherboard higher up in the Gigabyte range.

As the title suggests, this is the best X570 Motherboard at it's price point of around £200.Paired with a new Ryzen 3700x this motherboard has all the features most users would need.- Support for new 3000 series Ryzen Chips- PCI Express Gen 4 (Future proofing)- 2 x NVME M.2 Slots- Plenty of VRM power- Some subtle RGB on the board with plenty of headers and control- Intel Gigabit LANOverall a great motherboard and I expect this and the 3700x processor to last me the next 3-5 years.

very impressed with build quality. it has a lot of features way more than enough for me. the latest wifi compatability, bluetooth, TWO ethernet ports, AMAZING audio quality, plenty of USB ports. loads of PCIE expansions. This is definitely one of the best boards you can buy. It's expensive but you get what you pay for. I could be here all day listing the features this board has. I can't think of anything it can't do that you'd want it to do.highly recommended.

Bought this as it was reviewed to be the best bang for buck and MSI wasn't delivering on its X570 boards and it's lived up to the promise - excellent VRM cooling and regular BIOS updates without much delay after AMD pushes out updates.Sleek design and the fan can be silent most of the time, so I can live with the fan. Looking forward to getting a Gen 4 NVMe drive once they're a tad cheaper. Can only hope that gigabyte keeps it up with the updates

Great board. It's probably overkill for most people, but at the moment this is the only x570 motherboard with passive cooling. In the office I need fast data access thanks to the 10GB Ethernet connection, this board gives me that. Massive heat sinks over the NVMe drives are helpful. Board looks very clean. The combination of a 12 core 3900x and the Aorus x570 Xtreme, I can render and compile with ease in record time.

29.6.2020

The motherboard is very good quality. Very chunky and on the heavy side. I would expect that for a high end motherboard. I don't really have anything negative apart from it could have done with some more USB headers on the motherboard. I have had to buy a USB adapter to give me more USB ports, otherwise this isn't necessarily required, really depends on what your building. Otherwise 10/10

Fantastic motherboard. Has 3 m.2 slots, built in wifi, Bluetooth and subtle RGB. Nice. I always thought older aorus boards overdid it with the rbg bit this has a touch of class.Sadly they out it right where the exhaust fan and gpu block the lights so you won't see any of it.The backplate on the motherboard is fantastic and really helps it add a feeling of security to me.
